Just A Note Card
Since school has started, I wanted to show our Spiral Side stamp.
Hello and welcome! This is Shanna today for Crackerbox Stamps and I have a brand new card featuring our favorite yellow-banana loving- mischeif makers!! MINIONS!
My background was made by ink Smooshing distress oxides onto watercolor paper. Oxides are a lot of fun for this technique because they have the ability to "layer" on top of each other since the are somewhat opaque. The key to not having the colors overman together is allowing the colors to dry before adding one on top. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Blueprint Sketch, and Lost Shadow to create my background.
Once the background was completely dry I heat embossed my If People are Talking sentiment and stamped the Poof onto the background panel in black and gray inks. The focal images were added to the panel using liquid adhesive to keep it simpler to mail.
Thanks so much for dropping by! Be sure to return again soon for another dose of Crackerbox Stamps inspiration!
Hello Friends! Janet here, adventure awaits with this ocean themed Birthday Card.
I stamped the Mountain first and then the Brontosaurus dinosaur.
I stamped the saying, Sunny And Bright, in orange to match the cardstock I mounted it on.
The Sun, Happy Sunshine, and Cloud were stamped, and I just swirled the color to make them look fluffy. There were two kinds of grass, Tall Grass with real light green and then with dark green, I stamped Grass.
Hello stampers! Everyone dreams of fishing during the lazy days of summer. These cute cards would please young and old alike.
I stamped the boy and dog in the boat first with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Next I stamped the water ripple. On the second card I stamped the boy on the pier. Then I stamped a small fish in the water. I colored both cards with copic markers. I used a stipple brush and blue ink to color the sky background. The last stamps used were the Birthday Wishes and It's your Birthday with VersaFine Black Ink
Thanks for looking at my cards
Hello! Timothy here today with a Happy Birthday Minion card.
Hi everyone, today I am sharing this Pirate card that can be used for Birthdays, Snarky, or Any Occasion.
Hello and Welcome! This is Shanna today, and I am excited to share a fun project featuring Crackerbox Stamps!
Today's card features one of my favorite magical stamps in the entire Crackerbox Stamps collection! I have used this stamp a multitude of times on different cards--both in the background and as a featured image. I absolutely adore the Castle of Hogwarts stamp THAT much! I paired it with the Favorite Muggle sentiment for the perfect pair!
Now, let's talk a little about the card. I love taking basic shape dies--a staple in most cardmakers' craft room-- and altering them to suit my needs. For this card, I used a nested circle die set and cut 2 circles--a white one that I intended to stamp and color on, and a larger black one to mat my focal piece. After stamping, I decided I wanted to "ground" my image some and cut off part of the bottom of the circle. This made what in my head is easiest to call a "snow globe shape"! They make dies that look like this - but why purchase another die set if I don't have to?? I would much rather buy more stamps!! haha. To match the cut with the black circle, I glued the smaller one to the black circle - lining up the top edges for reference, and then used my paper trimmer to snip off the straight edge of the black circle! Do you like to alter dies at all?? What shape do you reach for most when card making?
My castle is colored completely in Copic markers, with a freehanded moon and night sky that were fun additions to the magical scene. The Favorite Muggle sentiment was heat embossed in white embossing powder on black cardstock.
Thanks so much for joining me today! I will see you all again soon, Shanna.
