Harry Potter Holiday Card for Muggles

Hello, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a Harry Potter holiday card featuring Ron.

I started my card by stamping the Santa hat from the Minion 1 set.  I masked the hat then stamped Ron from the Harry P 1 set.  I stamped him again so I could paper piece his robe's collar and his hands with cuffs, and also stamped him on a piece of plaid paper for his hand-me-down robe.

I colored him up using Copics then paper-pieced his outfit.  I really like how that turned out.  For the sentiment, I combined the Holiday Greetings Harry and Happy Birthday Muggle stamps.  I sponged the edges of the card base rather heavily with Distress Oxide Mustard Seed and added a snowflake border.

Hermione Is Stirring UP Some Magic

Hello Stampers. Vicky is here today with some magic.
I hope you got to see Crackerbox Stamps' new polymer stamps. I used one of the sets with most of the stamps I used on this card. The saying is from the new rubber stamp release that we just did.
I embossed the background and lightly stippled some gray ink over it.
I stamped the saying on white cardstock and used the same gray ink to stipple over it.

Stamps Used:
Hope you enjoyed the card. Have a great day.

Harry Potter all squared up!

Hello!  This is Shanna, and I am here today with a fun Harry Potter card featuring some brand-new polymer stamp sets from Crackerbox Stamps!

Today's card features stamps from the following stamp sets:
Harry P 1
Harry P 2

These sets are so MAGICAL and obviously coordinate together seamlessly.  I primarily pulled images from Harry P 1 and then snagged the sentiment from Harry P 2.

The card was created by making what I called "zones" for each image, or set of images I wanted to place on the card.  I kept it symmetrical and used a ruler to help balance.  It is a fun way to set up any theme on a card!

Thanks so much for joining me today. Stop by again soon for another dose of Crackerbox Stamps inspiration!!

Wizard On A Tag Card

Hi, Timothy here today with a Wizard On A Tag card.

I colored and cut out the Ron image from the Harry P 1 stamp set.
I stamped some of the images from the stamp set to create this
fun background. I used a tag die to add some interest behind the wizard.
I finished the card by adding enamel dots.

You're my Favorite Muggle Card

Hello and Welcome!  This is Shanna today, and I am excited to share a fun project featuring Crackerbox Stamps

Today's card features one of my favorite magical stamps in the entire Crackerbox Stamps collection!  I have used this stamp a multitude of times on different cards--both in the background and as a featured image.  I absolutely adore the Castle of Hogwarts stamp THAT much!  I paired it with the Favorite Muggle sentiment for the perfect pair!

Now, let's talk a little about the card.  I love taking basic shape dies--a staple in most cardmakers' craft room-- and altering them to suit my needs.  For this card, I used a nested circle die set and cut 2 circles--a white one that I intended to stamp and color on, and a larger black one to mat my focal piece.  After stamping, I decided I wanted to "ground" my image some and cut off part of the bottom of the circle.  This made what in my head is easiest to call a "snow globe shape"!   They make dies that look like this - but why purchase another die set if I don't have to?? I would much rather buy more stamps!! haha. To match the cut with the black circle, I glued the smaller one to the black circle - lining up the top edges for reference, and then used my paper trimmer to snip off the straight edge of the black circle!  Do you like to alter dies at all??  What shape do you reach for most when card making?

My castle is colored completely in Copic markers, with a freehanded moon and night sky that were fun additions to the magical scene.  The Favorite Muggle sentiment was heat embossed in white embossing powder on black cardstock.

Thanks so much for joining me today!  I will see you all again soon, Shanna.

Magical Harry Potter Themed Christmas Card

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna today, and I have a *magical* single-layer Christmas card to wrap up my holiday cardmaking this year! Christmas Eve is nothing less than magical in my house, so I found this card perfect for today’s post!
STAMPS USED:

Did you know that Crackerbox Stamps has an entire *magically-inspired* HP collection? You can view them HERE if you are interested! They are some of my favorite stamps to create with!

Today’s card is a traditional, slimline card that is completely single-layer. Thank means one thing here friends—MASKING! I had a lot of fun creating a holiday-inspired scene with my favorite female wizard! The Santa Hat added just the right touch! Since I had all of the masks already cut, I chose to do some ink blending to fill in my background, and then I splattered it with some water and Liquid Pixie Dust because who doesn’t love sparkles! I also chose to be a little messy with the embossing powder when I heat embossed the Holiday Greetings Harry stamp and allowed some “stray” powder to be heat set in my background as well. I have never done that before, but I am loving the sparkly TEXTURE it brings!! Although it was very hard to photograph lol.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and I also with you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year! See you in 2024!

This is Shanna here today, and I am excited to bring you the next card in my Happiness Is Card series featuring some of the stamps from the Happiness Is Collection from Crackerbox Stamps! This collection has many different sentiment choices, and I look forward to sharing some of them with all of you over the coming months. Be sure to read to the end of the post for a special treat!! (**read as DISCOUNT CODE!**)

STAMPS USED:

This card was definitely inspired by my inner Hermione Granger!!  I used the three different wands to create my background with some ink blending as well.  Then I took a page I had left from making my niece’s Halloween Book Fairy costume (we used a damaged Harry Potter book for the wings) to add some interest with my sentiment and focal image!! I love how all of this came together!
This series has been a lot of fun so far, and I am excited to show you more stamps from the collection next month! Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are also inspired!

Here are the previous cards in the series:

Dobby Harry Potter Card

Hello and welcome!! This is Shanna today with a new magical card featuring fantastic red rubber stamps from Crackerbox Stamps.

Today’s card features the following stamps:
Dobby
Dobby Likes Socks
Dobby & Socks Saying (both stamps together)

Today’s card is a fun CAS card that uses a scrap of pattern paper to elevate the design a bit!  The card starts with a mini slimline base measuring 3”x 6”.  I stamped the Dobby image using Copic safe ink in the lower left corner of the panel and then colored it in using my Copic markers. Next, I grabbed a scrap of starry patterned paper and trimmed it down to 3”x 5” and then cut a diagonal angle across about two-thirds down.  I aligned it onto the card base over the Dobby image and positioned it so I had enough room to stamp the Dobby Likes Socks sentiment!  I adhered to the pattern paper and then added a thin strip of black cardstock along the same angle to create a bit of border between the two “halves” of the design to finish off the card.I love how simple this design is to create and how versatile it is with all sorts of images! What stamps would you like paired with this design??

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I will be back soon again with another project!

Harry Potter Is Up To No Good Card

Hello Stamper! Vicky is here today with a Slimline card.
Harry Potter is up to something!
I stamped the saying, No Good at the top.
The books were just laid down to get the place for the Potion Bottle.
I stamped the Potion Bottle and masked it. After I colored it with Copic markers, I took the clear blender and put some spots in the bottle to have it look like its bubbles.
I stamped Harry Standing on the bottom of the card.
The Shoe Prints came last to fit between the top and bottom.
After the stamping, I used a stencil for the background.
I mounted the white card stock on brown and then on black.
The Slimline card is 3.5 x 11

Quick and Easy Harry Potter Birthday Card

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna today with a *magical* card featuring stamps from Crackerbox Stamps. I needed a birthday card for a sweet friend who also happens to love all things, Harry Potter. So it was a no-brainer when I reached for my collection of HP-inspired stamps from Crackerbox Stamps!

STAMPS USED:
Or you can view the entire Harry Potter Stamp Collection.

This card is a mini-slimline card measuring 3"x6". The background is actually a print I made after using a polka dot stencil in my stash to make a background--I spritzed the stencil with water after using it while it still had the ink on it and then pressed a piece of cardstock on it to collect the ink! I love getting two backgrounds with one stencil!

Next, I took black ink and stamped the assorted HP stamps all over the panel. My sentiment was heat embossed on a black circle die cut I cut in half and then adhered to the panel. Overall, the card came together really quick, and I couldn't be happier!

Thanks so much for joining me today--I hope to see you all again soon.

Crackerbox Stamps Used:

First, I created a simple layered background using blocks of cardstock matted in brown cardstock.
The card base is white cardstock, and I stamped the Favourite Muggle sentiment inside with black ink.
Stamp the crest images onto white cardstock using black ink, and then I used a simple wash of color on each using Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush. Fussy cut out the crests and add to the card front using thin 3D foam squares.

Thank You For The Harry Potter Bag

Hello Stampers, Vicky here today to share with you a gift I got from a friend who used our stamps to make a beautiful bag. This is the card I made for her to thank her for her outstanding work. I mostly talked with her on the phone, so I used a phone on the card.

Here is the phone out of the pocket. I used the Hydrangea Lg. and stamped it all over the background. I used jeans-printed paper for the Pocket, but it turned out dark in the picture. I added brads in the corner of the pocket and restamped the tag on red card stock, and printed Levi. I stamped the Phone, cut it out, and put Thank You Very Much Script.
Nicki asked John to make a few custom stamps for the bag below. The "I Love Rubber Stamps rubberartstamps.com," and the wood blocks are all the stamps we custom-made for her. She also used our phone, and all of the Harry Potter stamps came from our store too. I am so excited to get this bag. It is made SO well and has many pockets inside for all my stuff.

You can find all of the Harry Potter stamps here.

Favorite Muggle Harry Potter Card

Hello crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I have a fun little Harry Potter themed card to share. I love the Harry Potter series of images. Here are the details on how I created this card.

Crackerbox Stamps Used:

Be sure to check out all of our Harry Potter themed stamps HERE.

Create a simple layered background using rich-toned cardstock on a cream cardstock card base. I added gold photo corners to the top layer for a little shine. Stamp the large Hogwarts Crest onto white cardstock using black ink, and add color to them using Zig Clean Color Markers.

***Did you know that the Harry Potter Crests now come in 2 sizes. I used the larger size on this card, but they now come slightly smaller.

Fussy cut out the image and attached it to the card front using foam squares. Stamp the sentiment onto cream cardstock using black ink. Cut out and add to the bottom of the card front using foam squares.
