Snarky Retro 60s Style New Year Card

Hello, friends!  Toni here sharing a humorous card for the New Year or any time.

Talk about simple and quick to make with this one. I stamped the Drinking Couple with Versafine Clair Nocturne and mounted it on black to match the embossed Falling Ice sentiment panel. I mounted these on a hot-foiled card front but you could easily use a piece of patterned paper instead.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi there, Martha Lucia here to share a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year card. I love this type of card because they are wonderful for massive production.

To mass-produce cards effectively, my first tip is to set up all the pieces or products you want to use to create a productive chain. For example, I die-cut the card bases on the above card. Then, I die-cut the top layer of 3-3/4"x 5". Using a stamping tool, like the Misti, I positioned and stamped at the same time the sentiment Merry Christmas Brush and the beautiful Side Reindeer. I used Memento Tuxedo Ink to can colored the Side Reindeer with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. To finalize the cards, I pasted the decorated layer over the card bases using 3D Foam Squares. No scissors, no nothing. Just peel out and paste!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope this helps you to create a mass production in less time!
See you soon,

Happy New Yarrrh Pirate Card

Merry Christmas! It's Marcia here today sharing a fun New Years card with a twist. Who needs a glittery ball drop when you can drink rum and talk like a pirate? (LOL)

Supplies used:
Pirate
Makes You A Pirate

To make the Pirate silhouette stand out more against the map background paper, I stamped on white paper and then cut out. I typed the sentiment on my computer (but shared the idea with sweet Vicky as a custom stamp idea). I inked the edges of the word bubble and the map paper with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and used scraps of paper for the inside. I hope you all have a happy holiday and amazing new YARRRRRH! xx

Happy New Year Card

Hello, Nadine here today with a Happy New Year card.

I started with some navy cardstock and stamped the Fireworks Stamp and stamped it along the top and bottom edge of the card front using gold ink. This Fireworks Stamp would be a great stamp for 4th of July cards too.

I stamped the Wine Bottle Stamp on a piece of white cardstock and used a gold paint marker to color the top and label of the bottle and a Copic Marker to color the green part of the bottle. Then I fussy cut the bottle out.

On another piece of white cardstock, I stamped the Happy New Year Script Stamp and tucked it under the bottle going to the side of the card. I matted the sentiment and card front with gold glitter paper and added some streamer sequins.

2020 Down the Drain / Happy New Year Card with Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps

  Hi Stampers,

Vicky here today. Are you ready to get rid of 2020? I am so happy that it is going to be over I am going to send out cards. I hope this will put a smile on a few faces.

I used the stamps made by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps, 2020 Custom,  Another Year Down the Drain, and used the Pipes and Pipe Wrench set of 6 stamps. This set has 5 pipe stamps that you can put together any way you like.

The inside of the card has the saying Happy New Year. It is a Christmas stamp but I just masked off the top of the stamp.

I used a Stamp-a-ma-jigStamp Positioner to place the pipe stamps so they connect.

Stamps Used:
2020 Custom - which is a custom stamp made by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

Happy New Year Stamped Card

Hi there, Martha Lucia here to share a Happy New Year Stamped Card that I made using the best 2020 stamp that I have, the 2020 Custom in combination with the  Darkest Nights sentiment.

This year was an atypical year but we have to see the next with optimism and taking the best we have. The 2020 Custom can be considered a snarky stamp but it is perfect for my idea.

To make this card I used White Smooth Card Stock and masked the left side to keep this area white. In addition, two different colors of Distress Oxide Ink create the color of the right. Then I placed the Blossom Dots stencil over the inked area and with the dark color, I covered the free areas.

To complete the design, I stamped the Darkest Night sentiment over the white area and the 2020 Custom next to it with VersaFine Onix. As a final touch, I added some tiny star sprinkles in coordinating color.

Thank you for stopping by!

2020

Hi Everybody,

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.

Cornelia here today, having fun with my Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.

So far 2020 has been quite something and Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps expressed that quite accurately with this custom 2020 stamp that you can get in the store. I think it captures the essence of this year. I used the COVID-19 virus as cornerstones and created a frame, filling it with the dot splatter stamp  and grey sponging. I also used the technique of the month - using stamps as frame for this card.
In case you are wondering about that feisty little dog - it's from a different stamp company (Cats on Appletrees) and not available in the US. I am aware that I shouldn't mix stamp companies, but I simply could not resist ;)

Here are the 20% off stamp sale categories:
The August card technique is USE STAMPS FOR A FRAME .
Image may contain: text that says 'x o Cracherbor Suzy & Stamps rubberartstamps.com August Sale 20% OFF On stamp categories Babies Dinosaurs Fish No coupon code needed discount will be applied at checkout Free Shipping $45 US Orders $65 International く'

You can get $5.00 store credit once a week. Each month we will have several categories on sale for 20% OFF and a technique for that month. All you have to do is make a card with at least one stamp from the sales category and use the technique (in June its "stencil") and
Vicky will put $5.00 on your store account and leave you a comment that it is done. We can't wait to see your creative work!
