Clean and simple, or with a few extra details?

 Hi Everyone, Dalis HERE!

A or B? Clean and simple, or with a few extra details?
My family unanimously voted for A, but I had that creative itch to see B finished, too. You know that feeling... once you’ve stayed in the crafty barn too long, curiosity takes over. 🐄✨

Honestly, I think both versions turned out fun and would be a joy to make or receive.

I started by stamping Cow Bridgette (small) and masking her before stamping Barn Variations (large) in the background. I colored everything using my favorite technique: starting with alcohol markers, then adding shadows with watercolor markers, and finishing with highlights using a white gel pen.

For version A, I kept things clean and simple.

For version B, I stamped an extra Bridgette, fussy cut her, and added a fence post die cut along with some grass for extra dimension. I also stamped the Your Day sentiment, cut it into pieces, and arranged it to complete the scene.

Both cards have their own charm... but now I’m curious; are you Team A or Team B?

All stamps used are from Crackerbox Stamps.

Supply List:

Cow Bridgette (small)

Barn Variations (large)

Your Day (large)

VersaFine Clair Acorn Ink

Additional Supplies: Alcohol Markers, White Gel pen, Brown Marker, Pattern Papers and dies.

Until next time— Stay colorful, stay crafty! -- Dalis

Thankful Fore You

Hello, for today's card, I started with a green card base. Next I layered a piece of blue cardstock, followed by a piece of plaid pattern paper. I used green cardstock and a grass die and layered that on top of the plaid paper. I colored the Bob Golfing stamp and popped him up with foam squares. I cut out a stitched tag in green card stock and created the sentiment using the One In A Minion and Thanks stamps. I cut the word "fore" in black cardstock using alphabet dies and layered it on blue cardstock. I stapled some bakers twine to the top of the tag and added it to the card with foam squares. To finish the card, I added three sequins. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day.

I stamped the baseball, mitt, and bat with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored them and cut them out. Next, I made the baseball diamond. I cut out a green square and notched it out for the bases and home plate. The bases and home plate are cut out of white cardstock. I attached that to brown for the outfield. The brown is placed on a green embossed layer. Using a soft brush and brown ink, I smudged the edges. I attached the baseball, mitt, and bat to the front of the card. Drifted Into Elegance

 Hi Everyone, Dalis HERE!

This elegant look came together completely by accident. I was planning to color the image with colored pencils, but after stamping and masking, I fell in love with the soft look of it just as it was. So instead, I reached for my Pitt Pastel pencils and gave them a try. The result feels dreamy and effortless, like a salty breeze drifting through a quiet coastal morning. This beachy scene was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Supply List:

Life's Too Short Chair

Fence Posts

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Additional Supplies: Grey Pitt Pastel Pencil, White China Pencil, Cloud Stencil

A Cowboy Birthday Card

Hello Fellow Crafter. I did a cowboy birthday card.

They say, A cowboy is a breed tougher than nails and stronger than steel.

Cowboys have been iconic figures for a long time.

And for good reason, they are hardworking, and their style is timeless.

They are a part of American history. My dad loved watching cowboy movies.

I stamped the Barbwire Looped on light tan cardstock and mounted it on dark brown.

I used a piece of black-and-red printed paper as the background for my cowboy.

On a light tan cardstock, I stamped Yippie Yahoo, and cut it out.

On the same light tan cardstock, I used a die and sponged the edges.

The Geezer was stamped on white and colored, then cut out and placed on the die-cut tan cardstock.

The Barbwire Frame was also stamped on the light tan cardstock and cut.

Happy Birthday Fun was stamped on the inside of the frame.

Stamps Used:

Barbwire Looped

Snarky Crazy Alien Friendship Card

Greetings, Earthlings!  Toni here with you sharing a snarky friendship card.

To begin, I sponged the card front with shades of Catherine Pooler blue, then spattered with water and Copic Opaque White. I did know where my spaceship circle was going to go, so I could intentionally darken the area around the ship for depth.

I stamped the Alien Funny Face on scrap cardstock and colored it up. I intended to add glitter behind the acetate of the window he's peeking out of, but forgot, naturally.  LOL!

Card fully assembled and, more importantly, the blues dry, I stamped and embossed the Don't Understand sentiment in white.

Then I stamped the tape measure and fasteners directly on the workbench. They are also colored with Copic markers. I layered the brick paper and the workbench top on black cardstock. The toolbox is attached to the workbench and filled with the cut-out tools. The birthday sign is made from wood-grain paper, with the edges roughly cut.
