Snarky Summer Stenciled Card

Hi, friends! Toni here with another underwater scene with summer just around the corner.

I used a stencil along with Ranger Simon Hurley Neon Lunar Paste to create the background. The luster and brightness are amazing.

I wanted to cover as little of that fab background as possible so cut out bubbles using vellum, embossing More Fingers on the largest.  I then Copic-colored and fussy cut Deeva the Octopus, nestling her among the bubbles.

Sassy & Humorous Underwater Scene

Bloop, bloop, my friends!  Toni here with you today sharing Bernice's take on people.  Same, Bernice, same!

I sponged the card front using Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon and Prize Ribbon then brightened up the edges with Catherine Pooler Suede Shoes. I spattered this with water and set aside to dry.

Next I diecut the layers using Memory Box Underwater Collage dies. I then embossed the Wish You Were Octopus sentiment using Versamark and Ranger Detail Fine White Embossing Powder.

Finally I colored Bernice Angel Fish and the coral with Copics then nestled her into the aperture which I popped up with foam tape.

Vintage Distessed Birthday Card with Wine

Hi, everyone! Toni here with you today sharing a vintage distressed birthday card with a wine theme.

I distressed the edges of the card front using a tool from Tim Holtz and then adhered a piece of  patterned paper cut using a deckle edge cover die.

My next layer consists of burlap ribbon where I teased out some of the edge fibers for a feathery look.  I adhered this layer with big sticky dots.

I stamped the Wine Bottle, Glass and Grapes then created a mask for the glass stems.  I used Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves and Vintage photo for sponging before fussy cutting and adhering to a deckle edge panel.

I embossed the grapes on the wine bottle label and sponged the edges before adhering.  I also embossed the All Things Improve sentiment and distressed the edges before adding that on top of the wine panel.

Reach for the Stars

Hi, everyone! Toni here with you today sharing a hilarious any occasion or even a birthday card with a bit of snark.

I used a stencil with a variety of Distress Oxides to create the stars on both the inside and outside of the card.  I colored Carl Being Happy using Copics, having stamped him directly on the card front.  I used a bit of grass washi for the ground.

I embossed the first portion of the Boobs from Sagging sentiment on black and positioned it on the front of the card.

I saved the best part of the Boobs from Sagging sentiment for the inside of the card along with one of the Cell Phone & Hashtags Snarky tags.  I love how the stars look on the inside.

Fairy Birthday to You!

Hi, everyone! Toni here with you today sharing a summer-inspired fairy birthday card that was really quick to work up although you wouldn't know it to look at it.

I started the card by sponging the front with a variety of bright inks then spattered that with water.

Once it was dry I used Versafine Clair Nocturne along with FairyDandelion & Fluff Set of 2Branch Herb 2 and Fern to create a summer meadow scene. Notice the off stamping of the Fern to create depth?  I also used a white pigment pen to highlight the fairy and dandelion seeds in the front.

On the interior of the card I stamped the Love & Happiness sentiment along with a smattering of butterflies from the Butterflies Solid Set of 2.

Watercolored Butterfly Birthday Card

Hello, friends! Toni here with you. Today I'm sharing a watercolored and gold embossed birthday card in celebration of warmer weather.

I embossed a black card front with the Fancy Butterfly and Birthday 1 rubber stamps and gold embossing powder.  Did I remember to use anti-static powder?  No, I did not.  LOL.

I used watercolor paint with shimmer which really pops on the black and shows off the amazing detail on the butterfly.  I used a striped gold washi on the card sides for added interest too.

Cow Themed Birthday Card

Hello, hello!  Toni here with you today sharing a cow-themed birthday or any occasion card for the anyone in your life who needs a good chuckle.

I used Cow 2 Bernice as the main image and adhered her on top of some farm-themed designer paper and a doily fashioned into a sort of fair winning ribbon.

Next I embossed the fabulous Amazing Things sentiment and popped it up on some foam tape.

Humorous Interactive Birthday Card

Hello, friends!  Toni here with a happy little interactive birthday card with quite a snarky surprise.

I adapted a pull-tab mechanism to allow another image to pop up from the Birthday 2 cake which happened to be the perfect fit for the Birthday 1 vulture.  Yes, vulture!  LOL.

I used some foam tape on the bottom sides of the cake which allowed the vulture to pop up minus the tail feathers that I trimmed off.

I encourage you to check out the other new photopolymer stamps being offered by Crackerbox Stamps.  They're amazing!

Spring Minion Thank You Card

Hello, friends!  Toni here with a spring-themed Minion thank you/friendship card.

I used various coordinating designer papers and dies to create a cheerful background for Phil. He and all of the Crackbox Stamps Minions are simply adorable! I colored him up with Copics and fussy cut him out.

Notice I stamped him on the clouds layer so that I could ignore his hair when cutting him out.  Once I adhered him to the card front, it appeared like I had cut out each strand.  Sneaky!

To finish the card, I stamped and embossed the One in a Minion sentiment.

Paper-Pieced Cocoa/Coffee Hello Card

Hi!  Toni here with you today sharing softly colored cocoa lovers card.

I started my card by stenciling the background with Distress Oxides.  I spattered a bit of Distress Oxide Spray and white acrylic paint on the background as well.

While that was drying, I stamped out the Coffee Cup Top View image onto white and onto patterned paper then and fussy cut both out to create the saucer.  For the cup I stamped that out onto white then colored it with Copics before embossing the Coffee Cup Top View Heart & Hello Set of 2 image.  I fussy cut that out then adhered it to the saucer portion.  That's a lot of paper-piecing!

Cat Friendship Card

Hi, friends!  Toni here with a snarky friendship card to brighten up your day.

I used a stencil and Distress Oxide to create the clouds in the background behind the cityscape, which consists of glitter rainbow washi applied to thin cardstock and then diecut.  I added the Space Needle in black to make it pop out.

I colored up the cute Cat Friends stamp using Copics.  Aren't they adorable taking a selfie in front of the Space Needle?  The Without Me sentiment was the perfect finishing touch.

Mixed Media Coffee Lovers Card

Toni here with you today, sharing a sassy little vintage mixed media coffee card.

I spattered the card front with Distress Ink sprays, then layered dictionary collage tissue paper on top. I stamped and embossed the I Mean Coffee sentiment and Coffee Cup Top View Heart.

For the Lady with Coffee, I stamped and embossed her on vellum, then used some patterned paper scraps behind her collar, cup, teeth, and hair. This allows her to show up really well but still have some transparency. For an added pop of color, I spattered some blue glossy spray and used a red pen to highlight a few of the words.  The shine is just dreamy.

Cupid Valentine Cards

Toni here with you today, sharing a vintage inspired Cupid Valentine card with a snarky twist.

I created a striped background using a variety of solid cardstock with a scalloped border.  It would have been very easy to simply cut strips of cardstock in a variety of colors, piece them together, and cut them to the size of the card front.  Either way, you are able to create a variety of card fronts at once to make each card unique.

I stamped and embossed the Cupid (isn't he sweet?!) in gold on vellum.  I masked and stamped the Weird Stalker sentiment as well.  I then cut out the pair out with a scalloped circle die. I used two layers of vellum to limit transparency.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the remainder of the Weird Stalker sentiment and applied a couple of strips of washi.  Cracks me up!

Vibrant Galentine Card

Hi!  Toni here with you today, sharing my first project for Crackerbox Stamps, a Galentine card.  Woo hoo!

I used a stencil and embossing folder with mostly Catherine Pooler inks, including Flirty Fuschia and Be Mine, to create that vibrant background.

I then masked and embossed the 100% Sweet sentiment onto black cardstock.  I stamped the remainder of the sentiment on the inside of the card along with Lady Stella Laughing for a fun little surprise.
