Snarky Day Drinker Pirate Card

It's summer and time to hit the water if you're able. Toni here serving as your captain today.

I stamped and colored up J. Sparrow using Copics. I had originally planned to just use the Makes You a Pirate sentiment, but it seemed lonely on the card front. I love clean and simple, but sometimes a card calls for a bit more decoration, you know?

So, I searched my stash and found a gold-flecked parchment-like paper that went well with the Treasure Map stamp, which balanced out the image nicely.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great rest of your day! For a full list of products used and to see my other projects, just visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft.

Summer Drink With An Umbrella Card

 Hello Stampers. Vicky here today.
Summer is here in WI. We're ready to bring out the summer drinks, complete with those cute umbrellas that make it feel special.
Do you like the tropical fruit drinks with extra fruit and fun?
This image is available in two sizes, and I used the larger one.
The small one went on the envelope and on the inside of the card.
I stamped Cocktail Summer Drink and colored it.
I mounted it on a light blue cardstock.
The saying, Life's Too Short was stamped and mounted on the same blue cardstock as the image.
The image and saying were mounted on printed paper and then on plain cardstock.

Stamps Used:

I hope you enjoy the summer and the refreshing fruit drinks.

Birthday Cocktails Card

Hello, Janet here with a refreshing summer birthday card.
I started by stamping two cocktail drinks with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloring them, and cutting them out. Next, I sponged pink and yellow ink on white cardstock. Using designed paper for about 1/3 of the card and the sponged cardstock for the rest, I layered them on pink paper. Wrapped a ribbon between the two papers. I added the cocktails and some yellow gems. Birthday Wishes is stamped with VersaFine Nocturne Ink and fussy cut. I attached it to the top right corner.

Friendship St. Patrick's Day Card

Hi Stampers. Vicky is here today to share a St. Patrick's Day card for a fun friend.
I stamped the saying, Friendship Must Be Built, and Leprechaun Sheamus.
I made a mask for Sheaums. Isn't he just the cutest Leprechaun?
Towards the bottom, I put a piece of Washi tape and used a stencil for the rocks. After I removed the stencil, I brushed a lighter brown ink over the stones.
I also used a stencil for the upper part of the card and just went around the saying.
The last thing I did was I added the 3 embellishments, Irish Party Shakers.

Leprechaun Birthday Beer Card

Hello, friends!  Toni here sharing a cute birthday leprechaun card.
I stamped Leprechaun Sheamus, then masked his left side and stamped the Cauldron.  I masked off the top part of that image before stamping so I would have space to draw in some gold coins.

I used a plaid stencil and whatever green ink remained on my stenciling brush to add a bit of color in the background.  I then colored the scene with Copics.

On the interior of the card, I stamped the Drink to Your Health sentiment and used a portion of a sentiment from Birthday Set 1 on the front of the card.

Snarky Retro 60s Style New Year Card

Hello, friends!  Toni here sharing a humorous card for the New Year or any time.

Talk about simple and quick to make with this one. I stamped the Drinking Couple with Versafine Clair Nocturne and mounted it on black to match the embossed Falling Ice sentiment panel. I mounted these on a hot-foiled card front but you could easily use a piece of patterned paper instead.

Masculine Beer Lover Interactive Birthday Card

Hello, my friends!  Toni here with you today sharing an interactive birthday card for beer-lovers.

I started my card with the brick background using a random combination of Distress Oxide Rusty Hinge and Fired Brick spattered with Black Soot as well as Copic Opaque White.

For the whirling mechanism I split up the Birthday 1 sentiment so when you turn it, you reveal the second half of the sentiment along with confetti from Birthday 2.

Grinch Christmas in July

Hello, everyone!  Toni here with you today with a holiday card featuring the Grinch. Well, not the Grinch but instead his favorite buddy, Max.

I stamped and colored the glass and lights from the Glass and Get Lit set. I used Copics and then applied ink to the lights with a small round brush. The lights also have glossy accents.

I then colored up Max from the Grinch and Max set. I thought his expression looked a little derpy drunk, so I thought he was perfect to include on the card.

The final touches on the card included sponging ink along the bottom edges and stamping the Glass and Get Lit sentiment.  Cute and fun, right?

Vintage Distessed Birthday Card with Wine

Hi, everyone! Toni here with you today sharing a vintage distressed birthday card with a wine theme.

I distressed the edges of the card front using a tool from Tim Holtz and then adhered a piece of  patterned paper cut using a deckle edge cover die.

My next layer consists of burlap ribbon where I teased out some of the edge fibers for a feathery look.  I adhered this layer with big sticky dots.

I stamped the Wine Bottle, Glass and Grapes then created a mask for the glass stems.  I used Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves and Vintage photo for sponging before fussy cutting and adhering to a deckle edge panel.

I embossed the grapes on the wine bottle label and sponged the edges before adhering.  I also embossed the All Things Improve sentiment and distressed the edges before adding that on top of the wine panel.
