I Love You Beary Much Mom

I saw a video on YouTube for a Center Step card, so I thought I would give it a try. Once it was cut and scored, I added some pattern paper to each panel. I stamped the Bear With Heart stamp on a textured tan piece of cardstock and colored it using alcohol markers. I die cut two M's and colored them with the same colors I used for the heart. I stamped two sentiments from the Mother stamp set and added those to the center panel. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day.

Masculine Frog Birthday Card

Hello, friends! Toni here with you sharing a humorous masculine birthday card.

I used a piece of designer paper from my stash for the water and scalloped round circle dies for the lily pads.

Next, I colored up Frog Grandpa with Polychromos colored pencils before stamping the Don't Worry About Getting Older sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne.

Louise’s Egg-stra Playful Spring Background

  Hi Everyone, Dalis HERE!

Louise is back and dressed for the Easter and spring season, bringing all the fresh, playful vibes with her.

For this card, I built the background using both the solid and outline egg images, layering them to create a fun and lively pattern. To keep things from feeling too structured, I added some Dot Splatter across the background, giving it that extra movement and texture.

Once everything was in place, I brought back a bit of contrast with some loose black ink doodling around the design. A few subtle touches of distressing here and there helped soften the edges and tie all the elements together, creating a beautifully balanced mix of clean stamping and artsy detail.

Supply List:
Chicken Standing ~Louise
Egg Solid & Outline
Don't Scare me
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Additional Supplies: Pattern paper, pen, bling, and alcohol markers.

An Extended Birthday Greeting

I love sending birthday cards, but I don't always get them out in time.
Hello Crafters, for today's card I started with a yellow card base. I added a layer of balloon pattern paper as well as a smaller layer of polka dot paper. I stamped the Belated sentiment stamp on gingham paper and cut a fishtail to one side of it. Next I stamped the Frog 1 stamp and the balloons from the Birthday Set 2 stamp and colored them using alcohol markers. For the inside of my card, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Birthday Set 2 stamp set on light blue paper. I added a 1/2 strip of bowtie pattern paper to the left side of the insert. Thanks so much for stopping by and always send a birthday card, even if it's belated.

Unusual Friendship Card

Hello Stampers.
A bunny and a bear are friends?
Why not! Friendships are for all kinds of animals and can be found anywhere.
I used some of our cute, lovable forest friends to make this friendship card.
I started with a square card and stamped the Bear, Bunny, Raccoon, and the saying, Friendship.
The small word "Friendship" comes in a set of 7 small stamps.
I added some extra branches using the branch the raccoon is on.
I sponged green on the bottom of the card and yellow on the top.
I mounted the card on dark brown, then mounted it on an extra strip of light brown on the left side.
The dark brown card has printed cardstock leaves, then put together.

I hope you like the friendship card,

Apples Aren't Just for Your Health

Howdy, friends! Toni is with you today, sharing a humorous get-well card.

I used a stencil to create the apple background, which I then covered with a vellum panel.  I stamped and colored up the Horse Hanging On image using Copics.

I love how he's popping up over the Apple a Day sign.  So cheeky!

Pet Sympathy Card

Hello, friends. Toni here with a bittersweet pet sympathy card. Actually, you could use it for people, too.

I used a cloud mask with Catherine Pooler inks to create the background within the arch. I stamped the Feathers & Birds image using my MISTI and Versafine Clair Nocturne, but only one press was needed with that fabulous red rubber.

I embossed the kraft panel as it seemed too plain without that. I trimmed it down too, so that a bit of the white card base would show as framing and tie in to the arch.

The Wings Were Ready sentiment is quite lovely. Just the right amount of emotion without being too mushy.

Just Checking In!

Hello Janet here with a thinking of you card. This little pig is just saying "Hi, how ya doing?"
I stamped the pig, hay bale, and the milk can with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on scrap cardstock. They are colored with Copic Markers and cut out. I chose a designed paper that looks like a barnyard fence and the floor of a barn. I attached the pig to look like he is peeking in the barn. The milk can and the bales of hay are on the barn floor. The word "Hey" is stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and die cut. I attached it at an angle to the top-right corner. The bottom layer is black cardstock.

Belated Birthday Bunny Card

Hi! I try my best(ish) and yet always seem to need belated birthday cards the most. Toni here, and let's hop right in and talk about today's project.

To start my card, I stamped the Bunny Blue image on the card front and colored it with Copics.

Then I used a numbers stencil with pale pink ink randomly on the card front — time is ticking!

I die-cut some balloons and sponged them with pastel pink and green. The belated birthday sentiment from Birthday Set 2 fits perfectly on the largest one.

Let's Try a Different Approach

Hello, friends!  Toni here, and I'm ready to womansplain something to you.  The whole planet has me shaking my head.

First, I stamped the Bug Mosquito using Catherine Pooler Orange Twist on Pop Tone Orange Fizz cardstock.  I then embossed the Mosquito Saying on Pop Tone Apple Green cardstock.  I love those two colors together.

I used a thin strip of black and white striped cardstock to separate the two, then added the Frog Being Crazy image, which I had fussy cut. Look at that poor frog--he's really feeling the mosquito!  LOL.

What a World

Hello, friends!
You ever have one of those days?
Toni here, and I swear the Life is Diarrhea sentiment is so apropos right now.

For my card, I stamped and colored up the Pig in Mud image, then fussy
-cut him out.  I used farm-themed patterned paper so he looked like he was among his people.

Then I stamped the Life is Diarrhea sentiment using Catherine Pooler Macchiato, the perfect brown to match the paper.

Purple Reign of Sass

Hi Everyone. Dalis Here!

Prissy has officially had enough of the lovebirds and their parade of hearts and roses. If she’s going to step into Valentine’s season, she’s doing it with attitude intact. This sentiment feels exactly like something she would say, bold, unapologetic, and just the right amount of snark.

I kept this as a one-layer card, which makes her personality shine even more. No extra layers, no distractions. Just Prissy front and center, delivering her perfectly timed remark. Sometimes, simple really is stronger.

And this one is for my purple lovers out there. While the world leans into pink and red, Prissy chooses something richer and a little dramatic. Purple gives it that regal, confident energy that fits her so well.

A one-layer design, a splash of purple, and a whole lot of sass. Honestly, it feels very on brand for her.

Feelings? Absolutely Not.

 Hi everyone!  Dalis Here!

You walked the line between anti and adorably unhinged and honestly… that’s a power move!

You’re right, it is cute, but it’s the kind of cute that’s slightly feral. The raining hearts set the trap. Sweet, romantic, very Valentine-coded. Then bam, Frog Being Crazy enters the scene, actively disrespecting a love letter with a full-body hissy-fit. That contrast is exactly what gives it anti-Valentine energy. It’s not “I hate love,” it’s “love showed up uninvited, and I reacted accordingly.”

Stepping on the letter is the key detail. That one choice flips the narrative from whimsical to rebellious. Without it, you’d have a quirky Valentine. With it, you have a tiny green manifesto against forced romance. The masking and stencil work disappearing into the background is actually a compliment to your design, because the story reads instantly, even though there’s a lot going on under the hood.

So did I succeed? Yes.
Is it still usable as a Valentine’s card? Also yes.
That’s the sweet spot.

It feels like an Anti-Valentine for people who still like hearts but refuse to behave about them. And honestly, that’s a whole demographic.

Supply List:

Additional Supplies: Clear ink and embossing powder, glitter paste, 3D paste, stencils, stapler, metal embellishments, bling, and ribbon.

Sssomeone’s Feeling the Love

 Hi Everyone, Dalis here!

Puns make my heart skip a beat, and when you add a snake into the Valentine’s Day mix? That’s a done deal. This card started with the pun because, honestly, when a sentiment is this good, the rest of the design just has to keep up. It’s no surprise this image and sentiment come as a bundle. They were clearly meant to live their best pun-filled life together.

I’ll admit, I was not in the mood to color for this one. Instead, I leaned fully into mixed media and let the background do the talking. Layers of texture, ink, and a little controlled chaos created the perfect surface to stamp the snake image directly on top. The result feels bold and a bit edgy, which pairs beautifully with the humor. Sometimes skipping coloring opens the door to a completely different kind of creativity, and I loved letting the background take center stage here.

This card is playful, punny, and just the right amount of unconventional for Valentine’s Day. It’s proof that love cards don’t always need hearts and flowers. Sometimes all you need is a clever pun, a sassy snake, and a mixed media background that says, “Yes, I meant to do that.”

Because really… if you can make someone laugh on Valentine’s Day, you’ve already won.

Additional Supplies: Embossing Ink, gold embossing powder, bling, ribbon, and thread.

Monkey Love Valentine

Hello, Timothy here sharing a Monkey Love Valentine card.

I started my card with a red card base. Next I added a white layer, and then three panels of Valentine pattern paper. Before gluing the pattern paper down, I wrapped some bakers twine around the red paper and tied a bow around both pieces. I stamped the Monkey Love stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I colored it with alcohol markers. I also stamped the Happy Valentine's Day Friend Script stamp using the same Ink. I colored over the sentiment using the same color markers that I used for the image. I popped up the image using Foam Squares and glued the sentiment directly to the pattern paper. Thanks for stopping by, Timothy

Valentine's Day Card For Him

Vicky here today. I am using our Bella for the Valentine's Day card.
Sometimes flowers and candy are not right for that special guy's Valentine's Day card.
Our Bella looks a little dreamy-eyed.
I stamped Bella with Memento Ink and added a little coloring.
I stamped the saying with VersaFine Ink.
The saying came from our Miss Daisy polymer set, which also includes a cow.
The small Heart came from our Message Board polymer set.
I trimmed it and mounted it on black cardstock.
I had a red print paper that reminded me of a farmhouse, and mounted it on black as well.

Eggstra Fabulous at Any Age

Hi everyone, Dalis here.

What comes first, the patterned paper or the stamps? A crafty riddle for the ages, right up there with the chicken and the egg.

In this case, the patterned paper definitely came first. This vintage 2006 Autumn Leaves paper immediately sparked a vision in my mind of a funky, slightly sassy hen who simply had to come out and play. And here she is in all her glory. Meet Louise.

Now, at the Crackerbox Stamps store, she goes by the very proper name of “Chicken Standing.” But let’s be honest, Louise is doing far more than standing. She is absolutely passing judgment on everyone she encounters, including her companion stamp, “Cracked Egg.” Side-eye included.

Of course, I couldn’t resist a good pun, so “Eggstra!” had to make an appearance. To lean into the mixed media vibe, I added bits of thread, those cozy little tangles you’d expect to find tucked into a bird’s nest. Texture, personality, and a hen with opinions… this card has it all. 🧵✨

Sometimes the paper leads the dance, and the stamps happily follow. And when they do, magic (and attitude) happens.

Additional Supplies: alcohol markers, vellum, punch, white gel pen, Pearluster embossing powder, thread, and silver bling.
