Magical Birthday Shaker Card

Hello, Timothy here today sharing a Magical Birthday Shaker Card.

I colored and cut out the handsome wizard with glasses
from the Harry P 1 stamp set.
I created a square shaker frame with dies from my stash.
I used red tulle instead of acetate to keep the shaker bits in place.
I used the sentiment from the same stamp set and added it to the
side of the frame. Lastly, I added some star embellishments.

St. Patrick's Day Shaker Card

Hello! Nadine here today with a St. Patrick's Day shaker card.

To create my card, I first stamped the Leprauchan Sheamus with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. Next, I die-cut out a circle on the front panel piece of my card. Used some Scor-Tape around the backside of the panel around the circle and adhered some acetate. Above the cutout circle, I stamped the Happy St. Patrick's Day Shamrock sentiment. I added foam squares all the way around the circle, making sure that the spaces between each one were small enough so that the Irish Party shaker pieces couldn't fit through. I added more foam squares around the outer edges of the front card panel and adhered it to my card front. Then, I adhered the Leprauchan Sheamus to the front of my card.

Christmas Grinch Shaker Card

Hello Stampers! Vicky is here to share a fun shaker card. I have a couple of cards using some of our NEW EMBELLISHMENTS! Grinch, Fall, and Winter fun and mixed embellishments are HERE!

1. I stamped the hand and then the Heart Ornament, and I cut out the heart's center.
2. I used acetate behind the cutout heart.
3. Then, I put foam squares on the acetate (leaving the backing on the foam squares).
4. I filled the heart with You're A Mean One embellishment
5. Take the backing off of the foam squares and add it to the card. TIP: I used a spare piece of card stock to cover the foam squares before I turned it over and added it to the base card.
I added cotton to his sleeve and Bakers Twine as the string.

Snowflakes and Friendship

Hello, crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I have a pretty little festive card to share that sparkles and shines. Here are all of the details.

Crackerbox Stamps Used:

Cut a white cardstock card base. Cut a pink cardstock layer, just slightly smaller than the card front. Adhere this to the card base. Then die cut out the shaker frame and the shaker base using dies. Cut a piece of acetate that fits behind the frame. Adhere the acetate to the back of the frame. Then, add a border of foam strips.

Using different ink colors, take the shaker base and stamp snowflakes around the border. Add the sentiment to the middle using black ink. Add shaker bits to the shaker top and the stamped shaker base. Adhere the shaker to the card front. Make sure to check out all of our shaker elements HERE.

4th of July Parade Shaker Card

Hello friendsEricka here, and today I have a fun 4th of July shaker card using the 4th of July Kids stamp. I love this fun stamp, and it reminds me of our yearly 4th of July neighborhood parade.

I stamped the Happy 4th Big sentiment, and white heat embossed it on my red cardstock. I die-cut an opening on the cardstock and then glued a piece of clear plastic to the opening. I lined the plastic with some foam tape and added my fun sequins from my stash. I stamped the 4th of July Kids stamp in Versafine Clair Twilight and clear embossed it, and added it to the back. I attached my shaker to a card base to finish up my card. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Out of This World Cards

Hello! Thanks so much for stopping by! This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness, and I am excited to share a pair of cards today featuring some fabulous stamps from Crackerbox Stamps.

Ever make a background just to make a background? I wanted to watercolor one day, and I had zero ideas what I would use the finished watercolor sheet on. I played around with some metallic watercolors I have and ended up with a Galaxy-type background. I loved it and then promptly forgot about it in my background drawer! LOL. When I was sorting through things, I came across it, and inspiration struck immediately with these stamps! It was totally meant to be!

Today's cards feature the following Crackerbox Stamps:

For the first card, I used the Alien Peace, If Aliens are Smart, and Rocket stamps. I cut my background panel to 4"x 5.25" and matted it only a black A2 card base. Then I heat-embossed my sentiment in white embossing powder onto black cardstock. I used my paper trimmer to cut the right side of the sentiment at an angle for some interest. I attached the sentiment to the lower left corner of my background. The Alien Peace image was colored using Copic markers and then fussy cut it out. I adhered him to where he looked like he was standing on the sentiment strip. The Rocket was also colored with Copic markers and fussy cutout, then adhered to the upper right of the card panel. That finished off this card!
My second card is actually an infinity shaker card. Infinity shakers are made with an acetate pocket that attaches over the entire panel. I used one that fit the 4"x 5.25" background panel and was filled with some embellishments that matched my theme (stars and such). I love my focal point, though, for this card! That alien makes me giggle. I colored the Alien Funny Face and Moon Full stamps with my Copic markers and fussy cut them both out. I layered them in the center of my panel and used a strong wet adhesive to attach them to the center of my shaker panel. My sentiment was heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut into a strip that matched the width of the shaker panel--4.25". I glued the sentiment strip directly onto the shaker panel as well, also hiding the raw edge of the alien at the same time!
That finishes up my post for today! I hope this inspires you to dig through your scraps or unused background and create!

Until next time,
Shanna

Birthday Mini Slimline Butterfly Shaker Card

Hello! Thank you so much for dropping by!  This is Shanna with Caffeinated Craftiness and I have a fun birthday shaker card featuring stamps from Crackerbox Stamps.

I had a lot of fun making this quick and easy shaker card!  I used the following stamps from Crackerbox stamps in today's project:

Butterflies Solid - set of 2

--or available separately--

Butterflies Solid: small or large

It's Your Birthday

I started out my card today with a mini slimline sized panel that I had leftover from a gel press session I had done previously.  I love creating multiple gel prints when I create with a gel press and this is exactly why---quick and ready to go panels!!  I used the Butterfly Solid stamps and stamped them all over the background using a gray ink.

Next I grabbed a scalloped frame die from my stash and diet a frame out of black cardstock and set it aside.  For my window I used heat resistant acetate.  That means I was able to stamp and heat emboss on the acetate without warping/melting it--total game changer!  I stamped the It's Your Birthday sentiment in embossing ink onto a piece of the acetate cut to the same size as my frame and then heat embossed with black embossing powder.  Once cooled, I adhered the acetate piece to the black scalloped frame.

For the shaker bits I added a variety of flat sequins from my stash and then attached the frame window to the card base, over the sequins, using a double thick foam tape.  The entire shaker panel was mounted to a white card base to finish off the card.

I love creating shaker cards, I feel like they are a unique and fun card both to give and to receive!  Do you like making shakers?

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my project.  Be sure to check out my personal blog Caffeinated Craftiness, or follow me over on my Instagram for all of my caffeinated adventures!

See you all again soon,

Shanna

Grumpy Frog Infinity Shaker Birthday Card

It's Marcia today with a grumpy frog infinity shaker birthday card for your best friend. The frog stamp is part of the new April release; be sure to visit the New Stamps category to see all the funny new sentiments and images.

Supplies used:
Frog Grumpy
100% Sweet
Without Me (Currently on sale!)
Birthday 4

Infinity shaker cards are really fun and quite popular right now.  I'm a fan of using tulle for shaker cards because it is so much easier (and quicker) to use.  I began by stamping the frog on a scrap of watercolor green paper in green ink, using the same ink color for the sentiments.  I colored the spots and eyelids on the frog with a yellow alcohol marker and added a shadow to the eye.  I colored the rest of the eyeball with a white gel pen, adding "shine" dots to the pupils.

To add the frog and speech bubble to the front of the tulle infinity panel, I first adhered just the bottom part of the tulle to the bottom back of the card panel with double-sided tape.  Then, I flipped up the tulle panel and added the frog and speech bubble to the tulle with foam adhesive where I wanted them on the card front.

To prevent the foam tape adhesive from interfering with the shaker elements once assembled, I attached scrap paper to the backside of the foam tape that shows through the tulle (see pic).  This prevents the shaker elements from attaching to the exposed adhesive.  Then I merely closed up the tulle front, adding my shaker mixture before adhering to the final flap of tulle.

The inside of the card wasn't left untouched.  I stamped the frog again using second-generation stamping for a lighter image.  (First, stamp the image off onto a scrap of paper and then stamp the second time onto the intended surface.)  The "Happy Birthday" was stamped in black ink.

Cell Phone Shaker Birthday Card

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna today from Caffeinated Craftiness and I have a fun shaker card to share with all of you featuring new stamps from Crackerbox Stamps!

I knew immediately when I saw the new Cell Phone stamp I knew I needed to make a shaker out of it!  I stamped the Cell Phone onto heavy cardstock and colored it with my Copic Markers.  I fussy cut out around the image and then I also used a craft knife to cut a window out of the middle.  I grabbed a scrap of iridescent cardstock to cut the back of the shaker.  The window on the cell phone was covered with clear plastic and then I added foam tape to give the depth needed for the shaker bits to move.  I added sequins and clay rainbows inside before affixing the back to the foam tape to seal the shaker bits inside the cell phone.
Setting aside the shaker, I grabbed one of the gel prints I have done previously (we won't say how big that stack is!  Shhhhhh!!!!) and cut a panel just slightly smaller than 4.25x5.5".  I grabbed a bunch of different Hashtag Stamps from the multiple sets available. I love that Crackerbox Stamps has a little something for everyone. Sweet, Nice, or Snarky are all options available as sets to go with the cell phone. I stamped them directly onto the card panel with black ink.
The final steps were adhering the shaker piece to the card panel and then I mounted the panel to a lilac card base.

I hope you enjoyed my shaker card today and will be inspired to make a few yourself!  Below I have links for the stamps used in today's project.  I would love for you to tag me on IG so I can see what you made!!
