News Flash! It's Your Birthday!

Television with Happy Birthday Airwaves
Hello Stampers! Janet here with a cute and easy card to make for anyone.
I started my card by stamping the T.V., coloring it, and cutting it out. I cut a piece of striped paper that looked like a test pattern to fit the screen and attached it. Next, I stamped Happy Birthday on it. I put the television on a piece of brown paper to look like a shelf. I layered that on designer paper and a green background. Added a few colored brads to make it pop!

Father's Day Hero Card

Hello Fellow Stamper. I made a Father's Day card for the first hero in my life.
This could also be a birthday card by changing the saying at the bottom of the card.

I stamped Super Hero saying from Father Set 1 and cut it out with a die.
Super Guy is a rubber stamp that I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Ink. I colored him mostly with Copic markers but used a silver pen to color his belt buckle and around his 'S.'
Happy Father's Day and the saying on the inside is also from the polymer set Father Set 1.

Sheetload of Father's Day Cards | 12 Sketches, 24 Cards Series

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna today with the next installment in my 12 Sketches | 24 Cards series!  This is a series in which I select a card sketch off the internet and create TWO (well-at least two!) versions of it using Crackerbox Stamps! If this is your first time reading about this--be sure to read all the way to the end for a recap of the series so far!

*Warning* I might have gotten a bit carried away this month, and the following post is very photo-heavy!!

This month's sketch was sourced from a YouTube creator named CraftyAl.  She creates a monthly sketch that utilizes 12x12 paper to mass produce a set of cards!  I chose to use the April 2024 sketch to play along with my challenge this month! I was inspired to use the sketch and pair it with the brand new Father clear polymer stamp set--using the majority of the seed to create a fun set of cards!

The way the sketch is designed makes it create 8 cards--which was a perfect way to showcase a new sentiment stamp set!  I loved going through my collection and pulling out stamps to match the sentiments!  I grabbed stamps I haven't used in a while and was so happy to pull back out again.  I kept the techniques simple with these--a little heat embossing and some tone on tone stamping.

Here are some of my tips when mass producing cards:

  • Pick a color way--that means if you are using pattern paper, stick within those colors and have a stack nearby of inks and solid papers to choose from when designing the card.
  • Don't be afraid to turn the card!  Some of these sentiments or images just did not work for a portrait designed layout--so I turned it into a landscape layout instead!
  • White pigment ink is your friend!  White is neutral, and will pull into nearly ANY design--I was stuck on a card or two until I pulled my trusty white ink pad out to play!
Ok--that pretty much sums up the key points--time to show you the cards!

Outhouse with Father  sentiment

Stars/Pixie Dust with Father sentiment

Aren't those fun!!!  I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you are enjoying the series so far!

Best Dad Ever Minion Golf Card

Hello cardmaker friends! Tracy here, and today since it IS Father's Day, I thought I would share one more Father's Day card. Here are all of the details.

Cut your card base and card front from white cardstock. Using a lighter green ink, blend a simple border around the card front. Then using the darker green ink, add a star border around the entire card front. Stamp the sentiment in the middle of the card front using black ink.
Stamp the beer and minion image onto white cardstock. Add color to both using Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush. Add Glossy Accents to the goggles of the Minion, and add Stickles to the beer mug. Let both dry completely.
Fussy cut out the images and added them to the card front using Thin 3D Foam Squares.

Father's Day Card by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here with a Father's Day Card.

My card is featuring two different stamps. The Man of My Heart Sentiment and the Super Guy stamp.
I started the process to create my card, stenciling a piece of white Smooth Cardstock with two different tones of Yellow Distress Ink. Then, I stamped the Man of My Heart Sentiment on the upper part with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
On a separate piece of white smooth cardstock, I stamped the Super Guy stamp and colored it with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. Additionally, I fussy cut it with scissors.
To finalize the card, I pasted on the lower part of the background a piece of metallic gray cardstock and resized the entire layer with an embossed rectangle frame die cut. I pasted it over a real red card base using crafty adhesive foam and finally pasted the Super Guy stamp over both parts with crafty foam.

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon with more inspiration.

Father's Day Golf Tag

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here with a quick Father's Day tag using this fun Golf Ball Smile stamp which is perfect for any dad who loves to play golf!

I sprayed some Bristol Smooth paper with Lindy's Gang Magical Shimmer Sprays in Narwhal Navy and Alpine Ice Rose. After my background dried, I used the Golf Ball Smile along with the Golf Ball stamps and white heat embossed them. I added a little shading to the balls with my gray-colored pencils. I then used the Father's Day Proud stamp in Versafine Clair Nocturn and clear heat embossed it to finish my tag. A perfect tag to add to any dad's gift.

King of the Throne Father's Day Card

Hello, card loving friends! Tracy here, and today I have a fun little Father's Day themed card to share. Here are all of the details.

Crackerbox Stamps Used:

Create a simple layered card base using patterned paper and coordinating cardstock. Stamp the Toilet image twice onto white cardstock using black ink. Stamp the sentiment on the toilet seat of one. Fussy cut that sentiment image just around the seat and base of the toilet. Fussy cut out the other toilet. Add the fussy cut piece to the base using foam squares.
Add the toilet to the card front. The "Happy" and "Day" are from the patterned paper collection I chose. I used alpha stickers to create the "Birthday" part of the sentiment. Add the sentiment to the bottom of the card using foam squares.

Super Dad And Grandpa For Father's Day Card

Hello crafter friends. Here is a Father's Day card that includes him for being a Grandpa.

I stamped Super Guy and colored him. The saying Dad Grandpa was stamped on yellow cardstock.

I used white cardstock to cut out the frame. I wanted it to match the red on the cape, so I colored it. I put the frame on the saying and traced around it, and cut it out.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Fisherman Father's Day Card

Hello! Nadine here today with a fisherman Father's Day card.

I stamped and then colored the Fisherman with Copic Markers. Then I die-cut him out, matted him with some blue cardstock, and adhered him to the front of my card. Then I stamped the Fishing Worm On Hook and colored him in with Copic Markers, and fussy cut him out. Then adhered the worm so he looked like he was hanging from the fishing pole of the Fisherman. I used a black marker to draw the fishing line so there was no gap between the hook and line and the pole line. For the sentiment, I used Fishing Problem, and for the inside of my card, I used Father's Day Freehand.
