When Love Gets Its Fangs
I knew I wanted classic Valentine reds and pinks, but I also craved a jolt of something unexpected. Enter bright blue. Not shy blue. Not polite blue. BRIGHT blue. The kind that crashes the party and steals the cape. As bold and unapologetic as Dracula himself.
Texture was non-negotiable. Layers you can feel with your eyes, a little messy in the best way, because Valentine cards should have personality, not just polish.
Sweet, snarky, and slightly bitey. I hope you guys like it.

Bag of Conversation Hearts
First, I stamped the big bag on a piece of white cardstock and cut it out. Next, I stamped the hearts on scrap white cardstock, colored them and cut them out. I arranged them on the bag. Using a thin pink ribbon, I tied a bow around the bag. Ok, sit the bag aside and let's work on the card base. The bottom layer is dark pink cardstock. The next layer is pink printed paper. Now, center the bag of candy on the card. Happy Valentine's Day is stamped on a banner using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I attached it at a slight angle across the top.January 3, 2026

Looking for Mr. Coffee Valentine
I stamped Helen with Coffee and the Mr. Coffee sentiment on Bristol cardstock. I then watercolored her with Zig Real Brush Markers. I created flooring using washi. Wasn't that easy?!

Cute Minion Kevin Valentine
First, I masked the card front using blue tape, then sponged a lips stencil with a bright pink ink.
I stamped Count Phil on a piece of scrap Bristol cardstock, then watercolored him using Zig Real Brush markers. Next, I cut out the scalloped heart from white and sponged it using two shades of bright pink. I adhered Count Phil in the middle and trimmed away the excess paper.
Lastly, I embossed the Love Bites sentiment on black. How very fun!!

Snarky Nerdy Anti-Valentine Card
I stamped the Brain image on a Copic-friendly cardstock and colored it up. I then stamped the Follow Your Brain sentiment and spattered the lot with a shimmery black ink.
