Please Text Me!

Hello, Janet here with a card for a friend. This pocket card holds a cell phone full of good thoughts.

To make this card, I stamped the pocket on denim paper and cut it out.

Next, I stamped the cell phone, colored it, and cut it out. I also stamped some hashtags, words, and emojis on the phone screen.
The bottom layer is green paper.
Next, I added a layer of white paper with blotches of green and navy ink for color.
I cut that at an angle and attached it to the green layer. I put the pocket on and inserted the cell phone. For the finishing touch, I stamped the word happy on tan paper, attached it to the pocket, and added some brads.

News Flash! It's Your Birthday!

Television with Happy Birthday Airwaves
Hello Stampers! Janet here with a cute and easy card to make for anyone.
I started my card by stamping the T.V., coloring it, and cutting it out. I cut a piece of striped paper that looked like a test pattern to fit the screen and attached it. Next, I stamped Happy Birthday on it. I put the television on a piece of brown paper to look like a shelf. I layered that on designer paper and a green background. Added a few colored brads to make it pop!

Sharing Hot Cocoa Card

Hello Friend. Vicky is here today with a card that you can add a packet of hot cocoa to share.

I used a die on the white card stock. I stamped the sayings Happiness Is and Hot Cocoa with VersaFine Clair. I stamped the Hot Cocoa Cup on white card stock, colored and cut it out. I stamped one of the Snowflake Trio on the cup, masking the two other snowflakes. The marshmallows by the bottom of the cup are the marshmallows from the cup. I masked the cup, stamped and cut them out.

Happiness is… Hot Cocoa Card

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna today, and I am excited to be showcasing a few amazing stamps from Crackerbox Stamps in my festive project today. This project also wraps up the conclusion of a series I have been doing featuring the Happiness Is collection from Crackerbox Stamps—be sure to check out the links at the bottom of the post for more inspiration!

STAMPS USED:

The card base is a 3” x 6” mini-slimline card that I used a scrap of pattern paper behind the Copic colored Christmas Tree image that I fussy cut. The Hot Cocoa sentiment and the Happiness Is sentiment were both heat embossed using super sponsor Ink on 3 Gold Rush embossing powder on green cardstock. The Hot Chocolate Mug was Copic colored and fussy cut as well before adhering to the card with some foam tape for a bit of dimension.
I absolutely LOVE the holiday feel of this card! Let me know what you think below! Are you still making Christmas cards?
As promised earlier—here are some links to the rest of the cards featured in my Happiness Is series this year! Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are also inspired!

Thanks for stopping by. I will be back soon with another fun card—likely caffeinated! LOL

STAMPS USED:

This card was definitely inspired by my inner Hermione Granger!!  I used the three different wands to create my background with some ink blending as well.  Then I took a page I had left from making my niece’s Halloween Book Fairy costume (we used a damaged Harry Potter book for the wings) to add some interest with my sentiment and focal image!! I love how all of this came together!
This series has been a lot of fun so far, and I am excited to show you more stamps from the collection next month! Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are also inspired!

Happiness is…Fall Favorites Card

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna here today, and I am excited to bring you the next card in my Happiness is card series featuring some of the stamps from the Happiness Is Collection from Crackerbox Stamps! This collection has many different sentiment choices, and I look forward to sharing some of them with all of you over the coming months. Be sure to read to the end of the post for a special treat!! (**read as DISCOUNT CODE!**)

STAMPS USED:

This card all began with the beautiful Harvest & Leaves stamp set!  I love coloring this one up, and I decided to stray from my Copic markers this time and used colored pencils on Kraft cardstock for a fall vibe!  I layered up the card with a dry embossed panel I inked over and some felt leaves ribbon from my stash.   Also— This card is bigger than my typical A2 cards because I really didn’t want to cover much of the image up!!  This card is an A7 (5”x7”) card, allowing me to space everything out.

The Warm Cider sentiment speaks to my soul!  I can’t imagine a better fall afternoon!

This series has been a lot of fun so far, and I am excited to show you more stamps from the collection next month! Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are also inspired!

Happiness is... Shopping Card

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna here today, and I am excited to bring you the next card in my Happiness is card series featuring some of the stamps from the Happiness Is Collection from Crackerbox Stamps! This collection has a TON of different sentiment choices, and I am really looking forward to sharing some of them with all of you over the coming months.  Be sure to read to the end of the post for a special treat!!
ALL STAMPS USED:

This card has some really fun and easy techniques I wanted to share with all of you!  Let’s start off with that fun shoe background. The technique is called “emboss resist”.  I started by ink-blending a multicolored card panel using a rainbow of colors.  I heat set that dry, and then I heat embossed the Floral Lady stamp in a rose gold-toned embossing powder.  After that was cooled off, I masked it off with a fussy cut post-it so I could stamp the Shoe Background stamp directly beside the Floral Lady—I loved having the happy accident of the heights of these two images being pretty near identical! The Shoe background was stamped in embossing ink and then heat embossed as well in clear embossing powder.  The clear embossing powder essentially “traps” the color underneath.  The next step in this technique is to take a dark ink, black in this case, and ink blend all over the panel.  The heat-embossed images will not be colored, only the paper—the embossed images *resist* the ink, ergo the name of the technique :)

After finishing my background/focal panel, I needed to add my sentiment.  I trimmed my focal panel down and mounted it onto a piece of iridescent vellum for extra shimmer—then attached it to an A2 card base.  My sentiment was heat embossed in the same rose gold embossing powder as I did the Floral Lady image to tie it all together.  The sentiment was a little long—so I did paper surgery and cut the sentiment apart after embossing so I could position a shorter cluster sentiment to the side rather than stretch a long sentiment across my card.  So versatile!

I had a lot of fun making these cards---and am really excited to keep moving forward in this series. Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are inspired as well!

Happiness is Chasing Sunsets Cards

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna here today, and I am excited to be kicking off a super fun card series featuring some of the stamps from the Happiness Is Collection from Crackerbox Stamps! This collection has a TON of different sentiment choices, and I am really looking forward to sharing some of them with all of you over the coming months.

I stamped the Truck Side View image directly onto a landscape A2 card panel and then drew in my sunset scene with Copic markers. I don't do a lot of hand-drawn scene cards, but this one was a lot of fun! The mountains are just staggered triangles, and the shading was pretty easy to accomplish as well. I stamped my sentiment directly onto the "road" to finish off the card. Then I used the Happiness Is Stamp and the Open Road Stamp to create my sentiment.

This series will be a monthly series that publishes each month on the 3rd of the month. I will be using a different sentiment each month paired with the title's sentiment from the collection, Happiness Is. If you'd like to view the entire collection together, you can also view that HERE. There is also something *special* happening alongside this series--so be sure to read all the way until the end to find out!

This month I even have a bonus card using the focal stamp because I just couldn't resist!! Let me know in the comments which one you like best.

For my second card, I was still having a lot of fun coloring sunsets, so I stuck with the same sky colors but chose instead to make a portrait orientation of the card. I used a posit note to mask the top edge of the truck bed, so I could stamp the Pile of Snow or Dirt image to where it looked like it was in the truck bed. I colored everything with Copic markers again. I love how the Truck Side View image fills the card from side to side!! I didn't draw a large scene with this, just adding the road for a horizon line for my sunset. I heat embossed the Annoy Me sentiment onto black cardstock and attached it below the truck to finish off the card.

This month I actually have an Instagram Reel tutorial with this card, so be sure to head over there and check it out as well!

To start of this card, I took two different Distress Oxide ink (Ground Espresso and Antique Linen) and ink-smooshed them onto a piece of watercolor paper.  Then I used a coffee cup (yep, a REAL coffee cup!) and stamped the rings onto the panel!  A little bit of splattering finished the background.  My sentiment is made of both the Happiness Is and Lots of Coffee stamps and was stamped in brown ink directly onto the background panel.
The Coffee Drink stamp was also stamped onto watercolor paper using Versa Clair ink in Nocturne.  I colored the image with my Zig markers and then fussy cut it out. The Coffee Drink was added to the background with foam tape before adhering the panel to a tan A2 card base.

I had a lot of fun making this card---and am really excited to move forward in this series. Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are inspired as well!

Happiness Is...COCKTAILS! Card

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna here today, and I am excited to be kicking off a super fun card series featuring some of the stamps from the Happiness Is Collection from Crackerbox Stamps! This collection has a TON of different sentiment choices, and I am really looking forward to sharing some of them with all of you over the coming months!
This series will be a monthly series that publishes each month on the 3rd of the month. I will be using a different sentiment each month paired with the title's sentiment from the collection, Happiness Is. If you'd like to view the entire collection together, you can also view that HERE or in the link below. I also have exciting news--so be sure to read all the way until the end to find out!

I started off my card by stamping the Cocktail Summer Fun stamp and then masking it with masking paper. I wanted a single-layer image with Sassy Cindy "holding" the cocktail glass. I lined up Sassy Cindy and then stamped the image over the masked cocktail glass. After the mask was removed, I had the full image ready to color with my Copic markers. I fussy cut the image out afterward and set it aside. For the background of my card, I pulled out a "summery" gel press print I had in my stash... FUN FACT! The texture pattern you see on the background is actually made with BUBBLE WRAP! So fun! I stamped my Happiness Is sentiments directly onto the panel with black ink. Lastly, I adhered to my fussy cut girl using some foam tape for dimension!

I had a lot of fun making this card---and am really excited to move forward in this series. Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are inspired as well!
