Country Love & Sunflower Hugs

 Hi Everyone, Dalis here!

I wanted a country-sweet hug on a card. A simple way to say “I’m thinking of you” with a little bit of that warm, down-home country love. I reached for Crackerbox Stamps’ Sunflower Lg and paired it with soft patterned papers and gentle colors to create that cozy feeling. I colored the sunflower with alcohol markers, then added highlights and shadows with watercolor pencils for a little extra dimension.

Sometimes a card doesn’t need to say much. It just needs to feel like a hug.

Size Matters Even in the Bridgerton Era

Hello, friends!  Any Bridgerton fans out there? Toni here and I love period costumes, particularly the later Victorian era (think The Gilded Age) so I'm all about checking out the fashions on these shows. 

When I saw this patterned paper in my stash I immediately thought of period wallpaper and how it would go so well with the Martini Lady image. So, I stamped her out and used my Scan 'n' Cut, resulting in a silhouette stencil. How cool is that?!

Now "Daphne" can get all the hot gos about how Size Matters. LOL!

Shimmery Vintage

  Hi Everyone, Dalis here!

Who says vintage can't sparkle? 

This Boot & Roses stamp is giving me all the retro glam vibes. A fabulous vintage high heel boot, beautiful roses, and just the right amount of attitude. It's classy, it's flirty, and it practically begged for a little extra shimmer!

I watercolored the entire image first, then added shimmering watercolors to bring out all that vintage sparkle. It's subtle enough to keep the classic look but catches the light in the prettiest way. 

For the inside, I stamped Gardens and Friendship in a soft light green for a sweet finishing touch. Sometimes the inside deserves a little love too!

Now tell me... are you Team Matte or Team "If It Doesn't Sparkle, I'm Not Finished"?

Little Old Lady Humor

Happy summer, friends! Toni here today sharing a great snarky any occasion card. You know how I love the snark!

I stamped Esther Variant on the Copic-friendly card base and colored her up. I paper-pieced her dress and accented with red accessories.  Esther may be old, but damn if she's not still sassy!

Next, I sponged the brick background and the ground using Catherine Pooler inks. Finally, I added the More Fingers sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne.

Growing Gardens, Growing Friendships

Hi Everyone, Dalis HERE!    

Summer is finally here, and the plants are thriving while gardeners everywhere are busy tending to their little green worlds. While you're taking care of your garden, don't forget to nurture your friendships too! 

For today's card, I kept things simple with a one-layer design featuring the Plant Pots 2 Open stamp. I masked the Small Ivy so it could spill beautifully from the pot, and ended up masking both the pot and ivy twice to build the scene. The garden tool at the bottom comes from the Gardening Tools Set of 7 and adds the perfect finishing touch.

I love how this card captures a quiet summer moment with just a few stamps and a little masking. A sweet reminder that growth happens both in our gardens and in our relationships.

Girls just want to have fun!

 Hello, Janet here with a pretty pink golf card. I made it for my niece who is enjoying the summer golfing with the girls.

I stamped the golf bag on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the bag with copic markers. The sentiment and Fore are stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, directly on the white cardstock. With only a slightly larger piece of lime green cardstock I layered the stamped white cardstock on to it. Then onto the designed paper for a bold finish.

Spring Thank You Card

 Hello, Janet here with a spring thank you card. It will bring a smile to someone's face.

I started out with white cardstock embossed with daisies. Next is an aqua-and-white patterned paper, cut with a wavy edge. I wrapped a white ribbon around it lengthwise. Three small pieces of daisy paper are layered on white cardstock and arranged down the side. Thank you is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and die cut. I attached it just below the center on the right side.

Let The Fire Move You

Hi crafty friends, for today's card I started with a purple card base. I stamped the 

Some Women Built From Fire stamp in purple ink on light pink paper and cut around the words with scissors. Next I stamped and colored the Dolly stamp with alcohol markers and cut her out leaving a white border. I cut out a gold frame and glued acetate to the back of it. I used foam tape behind the frame and I added some shaker bits. I added a flame piece of paper to close the shaker and glued it to the card base. Lastly, I used double sided tape to adhere the image and sentiment to the front of the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day.

The Best Things In Life

I started with a teal card base. I stamped the Best Things sentiment stamp on the same teal paper and cut around the words. I added a background layer with pattern paper and then attached three fishtail banners on top. Next I stamped and colored the Lady Yelling stamp and cut her out leaving a slight white border. Happy Mother's Day!

 Hello, Janet here with a pretty purple card for Mother's Day!

Using blue ink and a soft brush, I made a light blue background on white cardstock. Next, I stamped the small tulips next to each other on a wavy line, with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. They are colored with Copic markers. I added a piece of purple, designed paper to the bottom to match the wave. A ribbon divides the two papers. That is all layered onto a light purple embossed cardstock. Attached that to the white card. Happy Mother's Day is stamped with VersaFine Nocturne Ink and die cut. Attach that to the lower right corner of the card.

Spring Happy Birthday Card

 Hello, Janet here with a bright spring looking birthday card.

First, I stamped the tag on a small piece of white cardstock and cut it out. Next, using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped the Daisy Bunch on the tag and colored them with copic markers.  I stamped Happy Birthday with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and die cut it. Set that all aside and start assembling the card.

The bottom layer is yellow cardstock. White cardstock with embossed flowers is the next layer. Then, a yellow polka-dot paper slightly bigger than the tag. Tie a yellow bow on the tag. Place it next. Attach Happy Birthday on the lower edge of the tag.

I am sharing something I could really use right now: Love, Peace, and most of all Harmony.

Harmony was stamped in the center of the card and colored.

I made a mask and put it over her.

The clouds were made in the background.

I used the Birdhouse And Flowers for the background twice.

I masked the birdhouse so it didn't stamp on the card.

Wish Upon A Star

If you wish upon a star, make sure it's a brand new one.

Hello, for today's card I started with a white card base. Next I added a piece of black cardstock and then a piece of pattern paper from a comic paper pad. I stamped the According To Astronomy stamp on teal cardstock and added layers of black then white cardstock pieces behind it. I glued the sentiment directly to the card front. Next I stamped the Comic Woman stamp and colored it with alcohol markers. I popped her up with foam squares. To finish the card, I added a few star embellishments. Girl Friend, You're Crazy

Life is more fun with crazy friends.

I started with a coral card base. I used stitched dies to cut out some rose pattern paper and attached it to the card base. I stamped and colored the Betty With Question Variations stamp and popped her up with foam squares. Next I stamped the Girl Friend stamp in coral ink and used scissors to cut around the words. I also stamped the Don't Understand stamp in coral ink and used a stitched die to cut around it. To finish my card, I added some gold enamel dots. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day.

Wine with Friends

 Hello, Janet here with a card that could be used as a birthday or thinking-of-you card. It is for anyone who enjoys drinking wine.

I stamped the wine bottle and glasses with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them in with black marker and cut them out. I cut a scrap of silver sparkle cardstock for the foil around the cork. I stamped some grapes on the label. The bottom layer is gray embossed cardstock. The next layer is gray and white polka dot paper. A small piece of gray embossed paper is placed in the center of the card. I placed the wine glasses and bottle on it. The sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink at the bottom of the card. I added a metal clip at the top.

I started with a green card base. I layered it with shamrock pattern paper that I cut using a deckle trimmer. Next I stamped and colored the lady from the Coffee 2 stamp set and the hat from the Minion 1 using alcohol markers. Doesn't a new pair of shoes make you happy?

Cinderella's shoes stand for a magical transformation, love, and your future.

I think this Cinderella saying has a good, positive outcome. 

The base card is coral, and then there is olive green. Printed cardstock is on top, and I used some of these colors for the back of the images and the saying.
