Quick and easy Coffee Card

Hello!  This is Shanna here today with a brand new caffeinated project featuring one of Crackerbox Stamp’s clear polymer stamp sets, Coffee 1.  I am also joining in the fun and linking this up in the 2024 Fall | Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop that Crackerbox Stamps is a returning Super Sponsor for this year!! Be sure to click the link above to find out how YOU might play along.

For today’s card, I did a little repetitive stamping of the coffee cup in the Coffee 1 stamp set.  I grabbed an assortment of colored inks and an acrylic block and stamped the image all over an A2 kraft card panel.  My sentiment was stamped onto a rectangle piece of kraft cardstock and matted on some red to help make it pop when I adhered it to the bottom right corner of the panel.  I love a quick and easy design, don’t you??

Thanks for stopping by!  Come back soon for some more inspiration from Crackerbox Stamps!!

Happy Turkey Day!

Janet here with a silly Minion Card! He is ready for Thanksgiving!

I stamped this Minion and the drumsticks with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white cardstock. I colored the stamped images with Copic markers. Then, I used a soft brush with blue ink to add color to the background. I used embossing plates to texture the blue and brown cardstock for the bottom layers. I hope he gets to eat one of those drumsticks! Thanks for looking!

Thank You Card With Beautiful Flowers

Hello, this is Janet with a pretty fall thank you card.

First, I stamped the Flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored them with copic markers and cut them out. I used a soft brush and colored the white cardstock lightly with yellow and red ink. I stamped the leaves onto the cardstock with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink. The flowers were then arranged and attached. Then, I cut a wavy edge on the white cardstock and attached it to paper with a leaf pattern. I added a thin gold cord to accent the wavy cut. Thank You was stamped in the lower corner with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.

I stamped the Skeleton Birthday in Versamark and embossed it with Ranger Detail Fine White Embossing Powder. I added the birthday noisemaker from the Minion 1 set. I used Polychromos colored pencils to add just a hint of color.

GOOD MORNING!

Miss Prissy peeking through the fence to say hello!
To make this card I stamped Miss Prissy in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her. I layered her on a piece of straw design paper. Then I cut a slit in the middle of paper that looked like chicken wire, rolled it back so she could peek out. Attached that and put it on barn siding paper. I stamped Hi Chick in the bottom right corner with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink .This was a very simple card to make. Thanks for taking a look!

Harry Potter Holiday Card for Muggles

Hello, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a Harry Potter holiday card featuring Ron.

I started my card by stamping the Santa hat from the Minion 1 set.  I masked the hat then stamped Ron from the Harry P 1 set.  I stamped him again so I could paper piece his robe's collar and his hands with cuffs, and also stamped him on a piece of plaid paper for his hand-me-down robe.

I colored him up using Copics then paper-pieced his outfit.  I really like how that turned out.  For the sentiment, I combined the Holiday Greetings Harry and Happy Birthday Muggle stamps.  I sponged the edges of the card base rather heavily with Distress Oxide Mustard Seed and added a snowflake border.

Harry Potter all squared up!

Hello!  This is Shanna, and I am here today with a fun Harry Potter card featuring some brand-new polymer stamp sets from Crackerbox Stamps!

Today's card features stamps from the following stamp sets:
Harry P 1
Harry P 2

These sets are so MAGICAL and obviously coordinate together seamlessly.  I primarily pulled images from Harry P 1 and then snagged the sentiment from Harry P 2.

The card was created by making what I called "zones" for each image, or set of images I wanted to place on the card.  I kept it symmetrical and used a ruler to help balance.  It is a fun way to set up any theme on a card!

Thanks so much for joining me today. Stop by again soon for another dose of Crackerbox Stamps inspiration!!

Wizard On A Tag Card

Hi, Timothy here today with a Wizard On A Tag card.

I colored and cut out the Ron image from the Harry P 1 stamp set.
I stamped some of the images from the stamp set to create this
fun background. I used a tag die to add some interest behind the wizard.
I finished the card by adding enamel dots.

News Flash! It's Your Birthday!

Television with Happy Birthday Airwaves
Hello Stampers! Janet here with a cute and easy card to make for anyone.
I started my card by stamping the T.V., coloring it, and cutting it out. I cut a piece of striped paper that looked like a test pattern to fit the screen and attached it. Next, I stamped Happy Birthday on it. I put the television on a piece of brown paper to look like a shelf. I layered that on designer paper and a green background. Added a few colored brads to make it pop!

Snarky Chicken Friendship Card

Hello, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a funny friendship or any occasion card for when you're having one of those days.

This card was super easy to make.  I stamped Miss Prissy and then colored her up with Copics.

I next masked the Miss Prissy sentiment and then added the Go Pluck Yourself.  Both are stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne.

The card felt a touch naked, so I added some fun polka dot washi.

Masculine Beer Lover Interactive Birthday Card

Hello, my friends!  Toni here with you today sharing an interactive birthday card for beer-lovers.

I started my card with the brick background using a random combination of Distress Oxide Rusty Hinge and Fired Brick spattered with Black Soot as well as Copic Opaque White.

For the whirling mechanism I split up the Birthday 1 sentiment so when you turn it, you reveal the second half of the sentiment along with confetti from Birthday 2.

Birthday Paper Busters! July 12 Sketches | 24 Cards series: PART TWO

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna here today, and I am excited to show you all the next installments in my 2024 12 Sketches | 24 Cards series with Crackerbox Stamps!  This month's installment is split into 2 parts for a total of FOUR cards!  Be sure to check out the post from July 20, 2024, for the initial dose of inspiration in PART ONE!

Today's cards both feature the best of both red rubber stamps and the new photopolymer stamp sets Crackerbox Stamps debuted this year!!  I used the Birthday 2 photopolymer stamp set and then also used the Beautiful, Amazing, Friend rubber stamp as well!  I love mixing and matching the clear stamps and red rubber stamps on my projects!

For this month's sketch I visited Jess Crafts blog and used one of her MANY sketches--in this case one of her 12x12 paper buster sketches.  The first two cards last week stuck pretty close to the sketch--today I am going to show you how I checnaged them a little more but still stuck to the idea of the sketch!

For my first card I used the Beautiful, Amazing, Friend  stamp and chose to stray away from my monochromatic type of tone the other three cards had with the teal ink and give art a pop of color!  I stamped the sentiment using a bright pink ink that pulled from the triangle pattern paper a little and contrasted nicely with all of the teals.  I trimmed it down not by measurements, but rather to the shape of the sentiment!  NO MATH!  I also chose not to mat this layer, and opted to drag ink across the edges to help frame it a little.  That's a quick way to help a layer not get lost on a background, and I use it frequently!

For the second card I used one of the snarky birthday sentiments from the Birthday 2 clear stamp set that totally holds its own on a card!  LOL!  I stamped it in a teal ink to match the paper's well.  I turned the sketch on to it's side for this card, and the sentiment layered right on top go the smaller top layer of the sketch!  I used the ink pad on the edges of the sentiment again to help frame it a little as well.

Thanks so much for dropping by today--be sure to check out the links below to take a look back at the rest of the sketch series so far this year!

Birthday Paper Busters! July 12 Sketches | 24 Cards series: PART ONE

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna here today and I am excited to show you all the next installment in my 2024 12 Sketches | 24 Cards series with Crackerbox Stamps!  This month's installment is split into 2 parts for a total of FOUR cards!  Be sure to check back on July 24th for more inspiration!

Today's cards both feature the best of both (stamping) worlds!!  I used the Birthday 2 photopolymer stamp set and then also used Happy Birthday Vertical rubber stamp as well!  I love mixing and matching the clear stamps and red rubber stamps on my projects!

For this month's sketch I visited Jess Crafts blog and used one of her MANY sketches--in this case one of her 12x12 paper buster sketches.  I tend to hoard 12x12 paper--espeically pretty paper I think is too pretty to cut up!  This sketch let me use one of those pieces to make FOUR cards in total with zero waste.  I was thrilled to be able to show off th beautiful floral paper as well as the stamps too!

The sketch itself is pretty straight forward, and the measurements are included for cutting.  I shifted the middle layer towards to left of my cards rather than the center as a preference, but all in all I love how these turned out!!

For the first card I combined the cake and Happy birthday sentiment from the Birthday 2 clear stamp set and stamped them in a teal ink to match the paper.  I also added some stickies to the cake's frosting for some sparkle!

For my second card I added the Happy Birthday Vertical red rubber stamp centered down across the middle panel.  I chose to mat it in the same way the other layers were matted to tie it all together and ground it a little in the design.

Thanks so much for dropping by today--be sure to check out the links below to take a look back at the rest of the sketch series so far this year!

Copic Frog Birthday Balloon Card

Hi everyone!  Toni here sharing a cute birthday or congratulations card.  Ooh, or graduation!  I love it when a card can work for multiple occasions!

I first stamped out one of the frog images from the Frog 1 photopolymer set then masked its right side and stamped the balloons from Birthday Set 2 so they would appear behind.  I colored everything up with Copics.

Next I diecut some balloons and sponged them using Distress Oxides with their edges darkened by Catherine Pooler Inks. I had originally planned on having the sentiment on the green balloon in the back but thought the balance was off so instead embossed the Birthday Set 2 sentiment on a black strip and used it as grounding for the frog.

Be sure to check out the 4th of July sale.  It includes everything not already on sale.  Woo hoo!

UnFROGettable June 12 Sketches | 24 Cards series

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna here today and I am excited to show you all the next installment in my 2024 12 Sketches | 24 Cards series with Crackerbox Stamps!

Today's cards both feature the new photopolymer Frogs Set 1 stamp set and the following sketch that I found on Pinterest.
This month I decided to show you how I can use a sketch concept in it's literal sense---and how I might turn a sketch into a fun fold card too!
Here is my first card, which is a conventional A2 top folding note card that I modeled after the sketch using some pattern paper in my stash and Frog Set 1.
I kept this design pretty simple and chose not to color at all--rather I heat embossed my frog and my sentiment onto the green pattern paper with some black embossing powder.  I love the texture you get with heat embossing!
For my second card--I transformed the sketch into a fin fold by making a gate gold card instead of a folded notecard like card 1 was.  I split the cardstock between the top and bottom sections, and then added the top but only adhered it to the top "flap".  It created a vertical gatefold card that is SO FUN!

I was even able to hide my sentiment under the frog layer!
