I stamped Miss Prissy on a scrap piece of cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Next I colored her with copic markers and cut her out. Set her aside and start layering. The fried egg paper is the first layer on the card base. Next layer is paper that looks like straw. The final layer is chicken wire paper. I attached Miss Prissy with foam squares to make her stand out. The inside of the card is stamped with VersaFine Nocturne Ink.

Spring is in the air!

                     Hello, Janet here with a s spring card. The yellow flowers are blowing in the air.

I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on 3 small squares of cardstock. They are colored with copic markers and then layered onto slightly larger black cardstock squares. They are randomly placed on a 3 x 4 1/2 piece of white cardstock. Layer that on a slightly larger piece of black cardstock. Set that aside. Cut another piece of black to cover the front of the card. I layered a smaller piece of yellow-and-white striped paper on top of that. Then attach the top part at an angle to the card. I tied a black and white checked bow and added a few black embellishments. Inside, I stamped the Friends Are Like Flowers verse with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.

Happy Mother's Day!

 Hello, Janet here with a pretty purple card for Mother's Day!

Using blue ink and a soft brush, I made a light blue background on white cardstock. Next, I stamped the small tulips next to each other on a wavy line, with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. They are colored with Copic markers. I added a piece of purple, designed paper to the bottom to match the wave. A ribbon divides the two papers. That is all layered onto a light purple embossed cardstock. Attached that to the white card. Happy Mother's Day is stamped with VersaFine Nocturne Ink and die cut. Attach that to the lower right corner of the card.

Spring Happy Birthday Card

 Hello, Janet here with a bright spring looking birthday card.

First, I stamped the tag on a small piece of white cardstock and cut it out. Next, using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped the Daisy Bunch on the tag and colored them with copic markers.  I stamped Happy Birthday with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and die cut it. Set that all aside and start assembling the card.

The bottom layer is yellow cardstock. White cardstock with embossed flowers is the next layer. Then, a yellow polka-dot paper slightly bigger than the tag. Tie a yellow bow on the tag. Place it next. Attach Happy Birthday on the lower edge of the tag.

Happy Easter!

 Hello Janet here with a sweet Peeps Easter card. Hop on in and get your Easter stamps.

I stamped the peep with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with copic markers on the front of the card. I put glitter on it to make it sparkle like the sugar coating on them. I die-cut a circle from Easter-themed paper and used a white die-cut frame to complete it. I attached that to the card over the bunny. Next, I die-cut a scalloped border from the pink-and-white-checked paper and white cardstock. Pink and white twine is wrapped around that and attached to the edge of the card. Happy Easter is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and cut out. I angled the sentiment at the top of the card.

He Is Risen

 Hello, Janet here with an Easter card to share.

First I stamped the cross with lilies on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Using a punch, I cut the corners out.  The cross and flowers are colored with colored pencils. Using a soft brush and brown ink, I distressed the white cardstock.  A tan polka dot distressed paper is used for the base. I wrapped some tan string around and placed it under the stamped cardstock, before placing it on the base. He is Risen with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink directly on the polka dot paper. That is layered on the ecru card.

 Hello Janet here with a thinking of you card. This little pig is just saying "Hi, how ya doing?"

I stamped the pig, hay bale, and the milk can with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on scrap cardstock. They are colored with Copic Markers and cut out. I chose a designed paper that looks like a barnyard fence and the floor of a barn. I attached the pig to look like he is peeking in the barn. The milk can and the bales of hay are on the barn floor. The word "Hey" is stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and die cut. I attached it at an angle to the top-right corner. The bottom layer is black cardstock.

Wine with Friends

 Hello, Janet here with a card that could be used as a birthday or thinking-of-you card. It is for anyone who enjoys drinking wine.

I stamped the wine bottle and glasses with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them in with black marker and cut them out. I cut a scrap of silver sparkle cardstock for the foil around the cork. I stamped some grapes on the label. The bottom layer is gray embossed cardstock. The next layer is gray and white polka dot paper. A small piece of gray embossed paper is placed in the center of the card. I placed the wine glasses and bottle on it. The sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink at the bottom of the card. I added a metal clip at the top.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

 Hello, Janet here with a quick and easy Saint Patrick's Day card for a friend.

I stamped the to go coffee cup with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap piece of white cardstock. It is colored with Copic markers and cut out. A coffee cup sleeve is made by cutting brown corrugated paper to fit the cup.  Next, using the shamrock stamp, I randomly stamped Shamrocks on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. They are colored with copic markers. Using a royal texture stipple brush, I added green speckles to the cardstock. The stamped cardstock is layered on green clover-designed paper. That is then attached to the front of the card.  The coffee cup is placed in the center of the card. Happy St. Pat's Day is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and then die cut. I placed it at an angle in the top right corner.

Birthday Cake

 Hello, Janet here with a slice of birthday cake for someone special.

First, I stamped the cake slice and the candle with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored them with copic markers and cut them out. Next, Happy Birthday is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink on pink cardstock and die cut.

The base layer is brown cardstock with a layer of tan embossed cardstock. Next is a pink designed paper strip layered on coordinating brown cardstock. I attached that about 1 inch from the bottom. A paper doily is on top of that. The slice of cake is centered on the doily, don't forget the candle. Happy Birthday is centered at the top.

I stamped the Heart with Roses with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white cardstock, colored it with copic markers, and cut it out. Happy Anniversary is stamped on white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and die cut. 

The bottom layer is a soft-pink paper. A dark, wine-colored embossed cardstock is next. I attached the heart with roses on the bottom right. The sentiment is in the upper-left. Two brass brads are holding it on.

 Hello, Janet here with a sweet chocolate card. It is a card that could be used for several occasions. Such as Valentine's, Anniversary, Birthday or Thank You. Anyone who enjoys chocolate would love this card.

I stamped the candies with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I colored them with copic markers and cut them out. The nutrition facts label and Sweet Thing are stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and cut out, also. The bottom layer on the card is pink cardstock. The next layer is pink-heart paper. I embossed a scalloped piece of ecru paper for the final layer. I attached the candies, the nutrition label, and the sentiment, Sweet Thing.

 Hello, Janet here with a fun winter birthday card. My sister-in-law collects snowmen. I think she will enjoy this card.

First I stamped Snow Lady Neiva on white cardstock, then I colored her with colored pencils. Birthday Wishes is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink in the upper right corner. I added glitter to the snowflakes and the edge of the hill. I rounded the corners before layering it onto a piece of snowflake-embossed blue cardstock. A blue ribbon is wrapped around before layering it on the card base

Steaming Hot!

 Hello, Janet here with a simple and fun, steaming hot Valentine Card!

First, I stamped the coffee cup with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap piece of white cardstock. I colored it with a copic marker and cut it out. With VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, I stamped the XOXO on the coffee cup label and the sentiment Hot Steaming Love on scrap white cardstock.

The bottom layer is black cardstock on the card base. Next is a printed Valentine paper. Using foam squares, I attached the coffee cup on the bottom right corner. I layered Hot Steaming Love on a piece of black cardstock and attached it across the top left corner.

Warm Winter Wishes

 Hello, Janet here with a sweet snowman, sending warm winter wishes.

I stamped the snowman with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut him out. He is colored with copic markers. Next, I used navy cardstock for the bottom layer. The next layer is printed paper. Using white cardstock, I cut out some snow to lay across the bottom. I added some silver glitter to the snow. Using pop dots, I attached the snowman. The sentiment is stamped on white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I layered that on matching navy cardstock cut slightly larger and attached it in the upper right corner. I added 2 navy snowflake brads before layering everything on the card base.

Hello, Janet here with a bag of conversation hearts. These are a childhood tradition. I think everyone has had these sometime in their life.First, I stamped the big bag on a piece of white cardstock and cut it out. Next, I stamped the hearts on scrap white cardstock, colored them and cut them out. I arranged them on the bag. Using a thin pink ribbon, I tied a bow around the bag. Ok, sit the bag aside and let's work on the card base. The bottom layer is dark pink cardstock. The next layer is pink printed paper. Now, center the bag of candy on the card. Happy Valentine's Day is stamped on a banner using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I attached it at a slight angle across the top.

I started with a circle made with white cardstock. I stamped the palm tree with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Using a stipple brush and blue ink, I created the background. I layered that on a dark green. The next layer is paper with printed tropical leaves. I stamped the Brontosaurus on scrap paper and colored him with copic markers. Next, I cut him out and placed him on the card. Happy Anniversary

 A sweet Anniversary card for a happy couple.

I stamped the Sassy Heart twice with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with copic markers. Next, using a soft brush and pink ink, I made a smooth background. After that, I used a stipple brush and some red ink. I wrapped ribbon around the top of the cardstock. Happy Anniversary is stamped with C VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink on scrap cardstock, then die-cut. Using 2 brads, I attached the sentiment over the ribbon. I also added three brads to the bottom right of the card. A red die-cut frame is the finishing touch.

I stamped the Brontosaurus with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored him with copic markers and cut him out. Next, I stamped the Santa hat with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with copic markers and cut it out also. I layered the Brontosaurus on printed Christmas paper. Then I attached his Santa hat. Happy Holidays is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink on scrap paper and die cut. It is layered on the right side at a slight angle. I added some snowflakes and put a gem in the center of each one.

Christmas Joy

 Hello, Janet here with a simple Christmas card. One stamp and sparkly paper.

Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink I stamped the word Joy with Poinsettias on white cardstock. I colored it with Copic markers. Then using a stipple brush and green ink, I made a splotchy background. The white cardstock is layered on green paper slightly larger. I cut a larger piece of black sparkly paper for the bottom layer. A gold sparkly ribbon is wrapped around that before layering on the card. Then attach the green and the stamped white layer.
