Snarky Crazy Alien Friendship Card

Greetings, Earthlings!  Toni here with you sharing a snarky friendship card.

To begin, I sponged the card front with shades of Catherine Pooler blue, then spattered with water and Copic Opaque White. I did know where my spaceship circle was going to go, so I could intentionally darken the area around the ship for depth.

I stamped the Alien Funny Face on scrap cardstock and colored it up. I intended to add glitter behind the acetate of the window he's peeking out of, but forgot, naturally.  LOL!

Card fully assembled and, more importantly, the blues dry, I stamped and embossed the Don't Understand sentiment in white.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello, Janet here with a sweet snowman, sending warm winter wishes.
I stamped the snowman with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut him out. He is colored with copic markers. Next, I used navy cardstock for the bottom layer. The next layer is printed paper. Using white cardstock, I cut out some snow to lay across the bottom. I added some silver glitter to the snow. Using pop dots, I attached the snowman. The sentiment is stamped on white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I layered that on matching navy cardstock cut slightly larger and attached it in the upper right corner. I added 2 navy snowflake brads before layering everything on the card base.

Happy Valentine's Day, I Guess

Have you started on your Valentine's Day cards, or do you even celebrate?  I'd like to think my cat celebrates even if it's from under the bed when there are strangers in the house. LOL.  Toni (and her cat) here with a snarky little love card to share.
I stamped Annoyed Kitty on the front panel and watercolored the image with Zig Real Brush markers.

I had stamped the Who You Are sentiment, thinking to leave the card clean and simple, but it felt incomplete.  Thus, I decided to add the shimmery pink border with glittery heart garland. Now it feels like a proper Valentine!

Cute Minion Kevin Valentine

Not so spooky greetings, my friends! Toni here with you today sharing a cheeky Valentine card.

First, I masked the card front using blue tape, then sponged a lips stencil with a bright pink ink.

I stamped Count Phil on a piece of scrap Bristol cardstock, then watercolored him using Zig Real Brush markers.  Next, I cut out the scalloped heart from white and sponged it using two shades of bright pink. I adhered Count Phil in the middle and trimmed away the excess paper.

Lastly, I embossed the Love Bites sentiment on black. How very fun!!

Fall Bouquet

Hello, Janet here with a beautiful fall bouquet.
I stamped the bouquet of flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white cardstock. Using colored pencils, I colored the flowers and stems. I placed that on a piece of burgundy paper at an angle. The next layer is corrugated gold paper.
The bottom layer is gold paper that I embossed. A piece of gold polka dot paper is placed on top of that. I wrapped a gold and white ribbon around the bottom two layers. I attached the top layers next. A piece of twine is tied around the bouquet.

We Still Rock

Age is just a number, we are only as old as we act.
I started with a maroon card base.
I layered an embossed pink cardstock on top. I stamped the Inner You
and We Still Rock stamps on light pink paper and used stitched square dies to cut them out.
To finish the card, I added three decorative brads. Thanks for stopping by.

Snarky Cowboy Costume Picture Card

Hello, pilgrims! Today I'm sharing a snarky kind of Halloween card with you.
I noticed the Cowboy was actually wearing a horse costume and not riding an actual horse so, of course, I thought of Halloween.

I decided to go vintage, so I colored the image with Polychromos colored pencils and created a Polaroid photo, combining that with the farm-themed papers and the hilarious Banister of Life sentiment.

This reminds me of Jack Palance's character in City Slickers.  LOL.

Dance As Though No One Is Watching Card

Hello Stampers. Vicky here today with an inspirational card.
I used our little hippie girl dancing through the flowers.
The card base is pink cardstock. The next layer is white cardstock, and then green printed paper with little hearts.
I used a die-cut for the main focus of the card, and then stamped the saying, Dance Sing Love.
Harmony Small was stamped in the lower corner and colored.
Since Harmony has daisies, I put silk flowers on the card. Pink pearls are put in the center of each flower.
Harmony comes in 2 sizes, Large Harmony and Small Harmony.

Stamps Used:

I hope you like our little hippie and her saying.

Retro Gossip Girl Card

Are you a fan of retro/vintage artwork?  I love it.  There's just something about the 1940s-60s--at least as portrayed through the media. The old ads and Hollywood movies with their sassy characters are so fun.

I took inspiration from Graphic 45 paper that I had forgotten I had (what a surprise!).  Those dots and cherries were perfect to pair with Betty with Question Variations.

I embossed her on a sturdy vellum and fussy cut her out.  Then, I adhered her to the dotty red paper using liquid glue but shouldn't have put any glue under her fingertip.

The dots on cherry paper aren't white white but a bit gray so I chose a coordinating paper from my stash, stamping the Don't Repeat Gossip sentiment onto the banner and adding a contrasting banner beneath.

Aye Matey Pirate Card

Hello Stampers! Vicky is here today with a card for anyone who likes pirates or Jack Sparrow.
I started with white cardstock for my card, then mounted it on blue cardstock. As I was placing the white cardstock on the blue, my cat jumped onto my table and knocked my card crooked.
I stamped J. Sparrow and colored him with Copic markers.
Next, I stamped the Treasure Chest and colored that with Copic markers.
I added glitter dots for the gems in the treasure chest (the glitter doesn't show on the pic).
The sand is made by markers. Water and sky were sponged with ink.
I stamped the saying, You're A Treasure on tan cardstock.
Before I took the die off, I outlined it with Copic Glitter Pen.

Arrr Matey, I hope you enjoyed the card.

A Lighthouse For Encouragement Card

Hello Stampers. Vicky is here today.
I made a card for encouragement. Do you know someone who needs a pick-me-up?
This is our Lighthouse stamp, which fits on a standard A-2 card.
The saying, Roughest Storms was stamped and cut out with a die.
I mounted the saying on blue cardstock and used a corner punch.
The Lighthouse By The Seaside was stamped, colored.
I used the same corner punch for the lighthouse image as the saying.

Sweet Friendship Card

Hi, everyone!  Today's card was really simple to make but still packs a lot of detail (and cute details at that).

I first stamped and colored the Bee Girl image on a piece of Copic-friendly cardstock. Then, I masked the image and used a honeycomb stencil with a purple Catherine Pooler ink.

Originally, I had planned to place the white panel on a plain black card front, but decided it needed something more. I used a Lawn Fawn scalloped die to fancy it up and adhered the lot to a bright yellow cardstock.

This was a great move, as now I had a colorful way forward with the sentiment die. So so cute!

You'll Always Bee My Sunshine

Hello, Timothy here today sharing a sweet bee card.

I started with a light purple card base. I layered it with a piece of
yellow plaid paper. I stamped the sentiment You Are My Sunshine
directly on the pattern paper. I used a photo frame and backed it with
some flower pattern paper. I colored the Girl Bee On Swing and
glued her to the center of the frame. I used a white gel pen to
add some sparkle to her wings. Lastly, as usual, I added enamel dots.

Thanks for swinging by and have a sweet day.

Funny T-Rex Dragon Card

I've always been fascinated by dinosaurs, and it's amazing we can theorize so much about their lives, given fossils and such.  Now, do we know for sure that a T-rex's arms were relatively short?  Yes, BUT--now hear me out--what if it had tentacle fingers or something that didn't survive the fossil record, and overall its arms were proportionally the same as its legs? Yikes!
When I saw the Dragon with Fire stamp, I immediately noticed its little arms and just had to pair it with the I'd Hug You sentiment.  LOL.  Too cute.  I stamped Grass Set of 2 with Catherine Pooler ink.  I used CP inks for the colorful sky as well. A strip of washi finished off the ground.

A Sweet Saying For A Friend

Hello Stampers. Vicky here today with one of my favorite sayings.
I started with 2 printed papers. I stamped the image of Betty and colored her.
The saying, Thought About You was stamped in VersaFine Ink.
The ink is ideal for fine detail lines, making it perfect for words.

I hoped you enjoyed the card,

A Friendship Card

Hello Stampers. Vicky here with a sassy friendship card.
My base card is deep purple, followed by white, then the striped paper.
I stamped the Lady with VersaFine Claire on white and layered her with the deep purple.
After I stamped the saying, Friendship Must Be Built, I cut it out with a die.
Before I removed the die, I outlined the inside of the die with a Copic Glitter Marker.

Hello Greeting Card

Hello, Janet here with a card that could be used for any occasion for anyone.
Using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped two feathers on scrap paper, colored them, and cut them out. Next, using the Royal Texture Stipple Brush and Memento Expresso Truffle Ink, I added color to a piece of white cardstock. I attached the feathers, tied two pieces of brown string around them, and inserted 3 brown brads.  Hello is stamped in the lower left corner in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. On a larger layer of white cardstock,  I stamped the feathers randomly and colored them lightly. I layered that on brown paper and onto the card. The smaller top layer is then attached.

Cute Fishy Hello

Welcome, friends!  It's quite appropriate that the fish in my card is called "Smiley," don't you think?  Toni here with you today.

I stamped Smiley directly onto the card base then used a wavy stencil to create the water using my favorite color of Distress Oxide, Salvaged Patina. I like that it adds a bit of interest without making the card too fussy.

Now I didn't bother masking the image as I knew the Copics I was using would cover any blue overage, but I did try to avoid overlapping.

The last step involved embossing the Swimming By sentiment on a black strip then laying that over a hello diecut that I sponged with Catherine Pooler inks.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great rest of your day! For a full list of products used and to see my other projects, just visit my blog, Frankie Helps Craft.  I'm also on IG

Summer Life

Hi, Janet here with a refreshing card for summer. Soft waves at your feet and a tropical drink.
Using a soft brush and blue ink on white cardstock, I made the sky. Next, I layered some paper that looks like sand, with the top edge torn for a rough effect. The water is handmade blue paper with some sparkly flakes in it. It looks like water glistening in the sun. On a scrap piece of cardstock, with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the Life Is Too Short stamp, I stamped the beach items and sentiment. I colored all items with colored pencils and cut them out. I attached them to the front of the card.

You Lucky Duck Card

Stampers, Timothy, is sharing a friendship card with a lucky friend.

Timothy had some printed cardstock that he mounted on a dark brown cardstock.
He cut out some of the letters, but used the Small Horseshoe for the 'U's'.
The Duck was stamped, colored, and cut out.
