Girls just want to have fun!

Hello, Janet here with a pretty pink golf card. I made it for my niece who is enjoying the summer golfing with the girls.
I stamped the golf bag on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the bag with copic markers. The sentiment and Fore are stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, directly on the white cardstock. With only a slightly larger piece of lime green cardstock I layered the stamped white cardstock on to it. Then onto the designed paper for a bold finish.

Coffee, Cocoa & Crafty Deals!

  Hi Everyone, Dalis HERE!

Hola, coffee lovers! Maybe your cup is filled with tea leaves, cinnamon, cocoa, or espresso strong enough to wake the neighbor’s cat. Whatever your cozy potion of choice, now is the time to stock up because all coffee, tea, and cocoa-themed stamps are currently 25% OFF at the Crackerbox Stamps store!

And yes... that includes Coffee Set #3, the newest addition to the coffee-themed clear sets family. This card was brewed with that set plus a few extra goodies that are also on sale right now, making the whole project feel like a crafty cafĂ© table exploded in the best possible way.

Warm drinks, inky fingers, and stamp sets with personality? That sounds like a pretty delicious combo to me.

Additional Supplies: Embossing Powders (golden and black iridescent), die-cuts, bulb pin, circle dies, ribbon, pattern paper, Pitt pastel pencils, ephemera, and blender brush.

Card No. 2 features the new Coffee Lovers #3, and I am absolutely loving the vintage charm of this design. I used one of the larger sentiments to create a full background across the entire card panel, giving it lots of texture and interest. The finishing touches of paint splatters, washi tape, and vintage trims brought everything together like the perfect cup of aged espresso.

CLOSE UP for card No. 1

Morning Coffee Card

Hello, friends! Toni here, and although I'm not a coffee drinker, I can so relate to needing that little pick-me-up.

I stamped the funny Snapdragon image onto Bristol white cardstock. I then used Catherine Pooler and Distress Oxide inks to sponge the edges of the panel. I used the same Distress Oxide ink to stamp the Honeycomb pattern.

Next, I colored up the Snapdragon image using copics, finding BG72 and BG75 a good match for the Distress Oxide Speckled Egg ink. I had a scrap of coordinating cardstock and paired that with a small hexagon die for the embossed Coffee Set 1 sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card.

Cute Hippie Girl Birthday

Hello Stampers, Vicky here today.
Get ready for a blast from the past. With her retro vibes for the birthday chick who's feeling the love and energy of the 1960s! From the Beatles, Woodstock, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin, to mini skirts to psychedelic posters, when the chants were love, peace, and happiness. I hope the birthday girl is rocking and rolling on her special day!
Isn't this girl just the cutest? She also has a front to match her back.
I put the small Peace Sign on her shirt, and that comes in a set of 2.
The saying is stamped with VersaFine Ink.
The Daisy Heart Set of 3, I used the small stamp.
Hippie Birthday was also stamped with VersaFine.

I hope you enjoyed the little hippie girl!

Spring is in the air!

Hello, Janet here with a s spring card. The yellow flowers are blowing in the air.
I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on 3 small squares of cardstock. They are colored with copic markers and then layered onto slightly larger black cardstock squares. They are randomly placed on a 3 x 4 1/2 piece of white cardstock. Layer that on a slightly larger piece of black cardstock. Set that aside. Cut another piece of black to cover the front of the card. I layered a smaller piece of yellow-and-white striped paper on top of that. Then attach the top part at an angle to the card. I tied a black and white checked bow and added a few black embellishments. Inside, I stamped the Friends Are Like Flowers verse with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.

Low Key Spring, WHAT?!?!?

   Hi Everyone, Dalis HERE!

Chocolate is my first love… snarky, sassy stamps are a very close second. So when I spotted the Bunny Butt & Ear stamp, I went from giggling to “add to cart” in record time. No hesitation. No regrets.

I colored the bunnies like classic chocolate treats because obviously… priorities. From there, the card basically made itself, just a simple sketch paired with some playful spring papers. Light, cheerful, and just the right amount of sass.
The sentiment brings it all together, a little nod to gardens and friendships, because this one is heading straight to my sweet friend Sylvia.

Additional Supplies: Pattern paper, ribbon, stapler, and blender brush.

Love, Peace. And Harmony

Hi everyone, Monica here, welcome back to Crackerbox's blog.
I am sharing something I could really use right now: Love, Peace, and most of all Harmony.
Harmony was stamped in the center of the card and colored.
I made a mask and put it over her.
The clouds were made in the background.
I used the Birdhouse And Flowers for the background twice.
I masked the birdhouse so it didn't stamp on the card.
Love, Peace And Harmony was stamped last.

Unusual Friendship Card

Hello Stampers.
A bunny and a bear are friends?
Why not! Friendships are for all kinds of animals and can be found anywhere.
I used some of our cute, lovable forest friends to make this friendship card.
I started with a square card and stamped the Bear, Bunny, Raccoon, and the saying, Friendship.
The small word "Friendship" comes in a set of 7 small stamps.
I added some extra branches using the branch the raccoon is on.
I sponged green on the bottom of the card and yellow on the top.
I mounted the card on dark brown, then mounted it on an extra strip of light brown on the left side.
The dark brown card has printed cardstock leaves, then put together.

I hope you like the friendship card,

When a friend needs a little pick-me-up when life gets crappy, why not take a deep breath and dump them? Imagine the feeling of relief as you watch them disappear, never to be seen again! Hope everything comes out of it, that you're feeling better, and that you're ready to take on the day with a happy heart!

I stamped Lady Stella Laughing and colored her.
The saying, Live Your Life was stamped next.
I stamped the Dot Background. This comes in a set of 3 different backgrounds.
I lightly sponged blue around the background and mounted it on a pink card.

Just Checking In!

Hello Janet here with a thinking of you card. This little pig is just saying "Hi, how ya doing?"
I stamped the pig, hay bale, and the milk can with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on scrap cardstock. They are colored with Copic Markers and cut out. I chose a designed paper that looks like a barnyard fence and the floor of a barn. I attached the pig to look like he is peeking in the barn. The milk can and the bales of hay are on the barn floor. The word "Hey" is stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and die cut. I attached it at an angle to the top-right corner. The bottom layer is black cardstock.

Girl Friend, You're Crazy

Life is more fun with crazy friends.
I started with a coral card base. I used stitched dies to cut out some rose pattern paper and attached it to the card base. I stamped and colored the Betty With Question Variations stamp and popped her up with foam squares. Next I stamped the Girl Friend stamp in coral ink and used scissors to cut around the words. I also stamped the Don't Understand stamp in coral ink and used a stitched die to cut around it. To finish my card, I added some gold enamel dots. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day.

Hello, Janet here with a card that could be used as a birthday or thinking-of-you card. It is for anyone who enjoys drinking wine.
I stamped the wine bottle and glasses with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them in with black marker and cut them out. I cut a scrap of silver sparkle cardstock for the foil around the cork. I stamped some grapes on the label. The bottom layer is gray embossed cardstock. The next layer is gray and white polka dot paper. A small piece of gray embossed paper is placed in the center of the card. I placed the wine glasses and bottle on it. The sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink at the bottom of the card. I added a metal clip at the top.

Friendship Thank You Card

 Hello Stampers.
This is a thank-you friendship card to let a friend know I haven't forgotten them.
And to thank them for putting up with me and not ditching me all this time!
The card base is blue, with a red layer mounted under the striped printed cardstock.
The word Friendship was stamped with VersaFine, mounted on yellow, then red.
The Heart With Butterfly was stamped with Memento and colored.
I used the Circle Thank You stamp and masked it to use only one of the words in the circle.
I used Friends Like Flowers on the inside, but I don't have a picture of it in the card.
I posted the inside saying stamp below.

Thanks for looking, have a great day!

A Friendship Card

Hello Fellow Stampers. I made a friendship card to send to a friend that I haven't seen in a while.
I wanted her to know I think about her, even tho I might not call as much as I should.
I wanted something more than just saying, "hello".
I matched the cardstock color to the printed paper for the base card.
I stamped the Large Betty with Memento on a separate piece of cardstock, colored her, and cut her out.
I used the same color cardstock as the card to die-cut a background for the saying.
I stamped the saying, Thought About You Today with VersaFine.
Now to get her sent out in the mail!

A Valentine's Day Card For A Friend

Hi there!
I have made a friendship card for a friend.
Do you have a crazy friend? I do, so I thought this saying was a good fit.
We need to spread as much friendship as we can.

I used a light green card to mount printed paper.
I stamped Frogs Are Green and mounted it on the same color as the card.
I stamped Frog Laughing, and colored with Copics.
And Frog Being Crazy was stamped so the saying would fit between them.
Happy Valentine's Day Friend Script was stamped and mounted on printed paper in the same green as the card.

Thanks for taking a look, and I hope the card was an inspiration.

Yas, King Bob!

Hello, friends! Toni here with a whimsical Minions friendship/encouragement card. You can't go wrong with a Minion!

First, I die-cut the card front using a star coverplate. I then adhered that to the card front by covering the entire back with double-sided adhesive. Once the backing was removed from the adhesive, I added back a few of the stars so there would be a solid area to stamp the sentiment.

Then, I sprinkled a healthy amount of chunky glitter onto the remaining sticky openings and burnished it in using my fingers.  Yes, I should have worn gloves.

Finally, I adhered the oval image panel of King Bob, colored with Zig Real Brush Markers, to the front. I used my MISTI to stamp the Throw on a Crown sentiment a couple of times for maximum visibility on the uneven surface.

Snarky Crazy Alien Friendship Card

Greetings, Earthlings!  Toni here with you sharing a snarky friendship card.

To begin, I sponged the card front with shades of Catherine Pooler blue, then spattered with water and Copic Opaque White. I did know where my spaceship circle was going to go, so I could intentionally darken the area around the ship for depth.

I stamped the Alien Funny Face on scrap cardstock and colored it up. I intended to add glitter behind the acetate of the window he's peeking out of, but forgot, naturally.  LOL!

Card fully assembled and, more importantly, the blues dry, I stamped and embossed the Don't Understand sentiment in white.
