Easy Masking

Hi everyone! It's Lindsay here, from Crafting While Caffeinated Blog and YouTube Channel, back to share another video tutorial! I love to mask stamped images. I use masking to create scenes, ink blending, etc. I know it's a technique that can be confusing and intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! When trying masking for the first time or if you just aren't comfortable with it yet, starting with just one stamp is the BEST way to get your practice in! Watch the video tutorial below to see how to do some easy masking to create a simple and striking card!

For this card I chose to use the new "Peony Large" stamp. I find that florals are so easy to use and stamp over and over when you first start masking. You really can't mess them up! If you stamp them out of order, no one will ever know. 

And there are so many things to do once you stamp and mask the panel that is full of florals. You can ink blend around the images, like I did. You can color the florals and do a light ink blending of blue around them. You can watercolor the images or just leave them plain and mask on a piece of colored cardstock. The possibilities are endless!
