Father's Day You're One In A Minion Card

Hello crafty friends,

Melinda here with you and today I am sharing a fun Father's Day card I created featuring theMinion Stuart PlayingPlaid BackgroundHappy Father's Day Sentiment and You're One In A Minion Sentiment stamps. Here is a look at my finished card.
My card is an A2, top folding card. I started with a blue cardstock base.

I used the Plaid Background stamp to stamp the blue mat. I then used my 1.5" circle punch and punched out three holes. I then used my Minion Stuart Playing and stamped him three times. I colored those in a light gray and made them muted. I then stuck those three under each circle. These are my "plain minions".

I stamped the Father's Day Sentiment in some Navy Blue ink and cut it out. I attached it to the top left corner of the mat.

I then stamped Minion Stuart Playing one more time and colored him in some bright colors. I layered him onto a star die cut with some Yellow cardstock.

I then stamped the You're One In A Minion sentiment onto some white cardstock and cut it out. Lastly I sprinkled a few yellow sequins to finish it off.

Here is one last look at my card. You can see I used some foam tape between the layers to give them all a little lift for some extra dimension.

The Birthday Fairy

Hello card making friends! Tracy here, and today I have a little snarky card to share. Birthdays aren't always something you want to celebrate....so why not add a little snark to get a laugh. Here are the details on my snarky birthday card.

Minion Stuart                      Birthday Fairy                     Small Bow

Other Products Used:
Paperhouse Productions Paper, Chameleon Pens, Ranger Black Embossing Powder, Embossing Pad, Staz On Ink (Jet Black), Cardstock (Black, White), Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (3D Foam Squares, E-Z Runner Petite, Crafty Foam Tape), MISTI

I created a simple layered background using patterned paper and cardstock. Then used my trusty MISTI to add the sentiment with an embossing pad and black embossing powder.

I stamped the bow and minion onto white cardstock using black Staz On ink and then added colour using Chameleon Pens. Fussy cut the images out and then add them to the card using foam squares

No Special Reason

Happy . . . day, wait what day is it today lol. Ericka here, and I'm not sure if you are feeling the same way, but all the days are blurring together. Anyway, I hope you are having a great day and hopefully you've had a chance to hop along with us this month for the chance to win some great prizes. If not HERE is the link for the Blog Hop.

Today I'm playing with this new sentiment "No Special Reason". I've paired it with the Minion Stuart Playing because I love his expression.

I started by stamping the Minion in Copic friendly ink and coloring him up in blues, yellow and browns. Like I said I love his cute expression and his classy vibe.

After I was finished coloring him, I stamped the sentiment in the same ink. I love the sentiment especially now that we have been confined to "social distancing," sometimes you just have to reach out to another person and reconnect.

I finished that card off with some teal and gold sprays and will send this off to a friend to hopefully cheer her up.

Don't forget to visit the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp STORE and check out all of the new stamps which are 30% OFF this month. All products are available now here.

Cheers, Ericka

The Older You Get...

Welcome back snarky card loving friends!
I love a good snarky card and so do my close girlfriends. So of course I just loved these new stamps from this week's release. I paired them with Phil the Minion of course, because he can say anything and get away with it. Here are all of the details.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Used:

The Older You Get                        Banana                                Minion Phil

Other Products Used:
MISTI
Staz On Ink- Jet Black
Distress Oxide Ink- Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber, Squeezed Lemonade, Ground Espresso, Vintage Photo
Ranger- Black Embossing Powder and Embossing Pad
Chameleon Pens
Blending Tool and Mat
Cardstock- White, Brown
Prima Stencil
Stencil Brush
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- 3D Foam Squares, Dual Tip Glue Pen, E-Z Runner Petite

First I created a blended background with all the tones of a bananas life in Distress Oxide Inks using a blending tool. Then with Wild Honey I stencilled on the diamond pattern onto the background as well as stamped bananas around the border of the card.

Add the sentiment to the middle of the card using an embossing pad and black embossing powder.

Stamp the banana and the minion image onto white cardstock using black ink. Then add colour to the images using Chameleon Pens. Fussy cut them out and add to the card using foam squares. Mat the card front in brown cardstock and then add to the white cardstock card base.

Snarky Stamps by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here with you. Today I want to share a card that I made to show you my snarky side. I am fan of these stamp sentiments and believe me, Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps are the best! To make this card, I am using two images, the Evil Done It and my favorite Minion Count Phil.

The base of my card is basic black  and the second layer is white. I just inked the entire layer with a blender brush using three different colors of Catherine Pooler Ink, I used Tiara, Tiki Torch and Tutti Frutti. Then, I placed the Triburst Background Stencil over the inked layer and with the Tutti Frutti color inked the free areas of the stencil.

I stamped the sentiment Evil Done It using VersaFine Onix on the center of the inked layer and framed it with the large Linked Octagon Frames Die that I cut using
white card stock.
To finalize the look of my card, I stamped the Minion Count Phil onto white card stock and colored it with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. Fussy cut with scissors and pasted over the decorated card base using Crafty Foam  Tape.

This month the sale promotion of Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps couldn't be better. The categories Easter, Snarky, Sweet Sentiments and Get Well are 20% OFF. Just click over each of these and enjoy your shopping!

I will back very soon with more of my snarky side!

Happy stamping!
