Light Up Christmas Story Leg Lamp Card

Hello, friends!  Toni here sharing an interactive holiday card inspired by the movie, A Christmas Story.

I started my card by coloring up the leg lamp from Leg Lamp & Sayings Set of 3.  I then built the aperture needed to accommodate the Chibi light underneath the window, using a piece of plaid "wallpaper" to hide the copper tape.  I used a paper doily for the valance for a vintage touch.

A heart indicates where you need to push to get the lamp to light up.  I stamped the electric sex quote from the movie on the interior of the card.  I think this one will give someone a good giggle.

Wishing You Peace And Joy Christmas Card

Timothy Thomas made this patchwork Christmas card.
What a good idea if paper ends are too small for a full-size card.
Timothy cut his cardstock pieces and arranged them on his red base card.
He stamped the saying, Never Ending Season, with VersaFine Tulip Ink and cut it out.
The Candles Lit was stamped, colored, and cut out.
    Last, he added a bow.

Creating Holiday Magic: A Festive Christmas Card

Hello friends! Ericka here, and I’m back with some crafty inspiration to get you in the holiday spirit. Today, I’m sharing a mixed media Christmas card featuring a gorgeous background made with my gel press and alcohol inks, paired with the elegant Christmas Tree Fancy Swirl stamp. If you’re looking for a fun and creative way to add vibrant, one-of-a-kind touches to your holiday cards, this technique is for you!

    Creating the Background
To start, I brought out my trusty gel press and a few bottles of alcohol ink in festive hues. I applied the inks directly onto the gel press and used a brayer to spread the colors evenly. Once the inks dried, I added a thin layer of white acrylic paint over the top and pulled the print. The result? A beautifully vibrant and textured background that’s perfect for a Christmas card.

Gel press prints are always exciting because no two are ever the same. The combination of alcohol inks and acrylic paint creates a stunning blend of depth and color that truly feels like magic

    Stamping the Focal Image
For the focal point, I stamped the  Christmas Tree Fancy Swirl and paired it with the “Magic and Bright” sentiment. Initially, I used gold embossing powder, but I felt like the tree needed a bit more pop. So, I re-stamped the image using white embossing powder. The result? A subtle shadow effect that adds dimension and a touch of whimsy to the design.

    Finishing Touches
To frame the card, I hand-drew a simple border to tie everything together. I love how small details like this can elevate a design while keeping the focus on the main elements. And just like that, another Christmas card is complete!

This project reminded me of how much joy there is in creating something unique for the holidays. With so many more cards to make, I’m grateful for moments like this where I can sit down, experiment with techniques, and share a little creativity with the world.

I hope this inspires you to pull out your crafting supplies and try something new this season. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and maybe a little time to craft.

    Happy holidays and happy crafting!

    Frosty The Snowman Ornament

Hello Stampers. Vicky is here today to share a Frosty The Snowman ornament.
I made the image Cool Frosty, into an ornament. I stamped him and cut him out with a circle die.
I colored the image and put a little cotton around his hat. I edged the circle with the same blue, stamped the snowflakes, and added glitter around the edge.
The Pine Branch was inked with VersaFine Verdant, and I added a little brown to some of the edges.
Snowflake Trio was stamped for the background. I sponged the edges with the same color ink.
I added pop dots to the back of the ornament and used Baker's string to have him off the branch.

Snarky Retro 60s Style New Year Card

Hello, friends!  Toni here sharing a humorous card for the New Year or any time.

Talk about simple and quick to make with this one. I stamped the Drinking Couple with Versafine Clair Nocturne and mounted it on black to match the embossed Falling Ice sentiment panel. I mounted these on a hot-foiled card front but you could easily use a piece of patterned paper instead.

    Christmas Saying Christmas Card

Hello Stampers. Vicky is here today with a Christmas saying that could be used on the outside or inside of a card.
My base card is red cardstock. I mounted a white piece of cardstock on the red.
I stamped the saying, Enjoy The Warmth, in the middle with VersaFine Clair Tulip Ink. I love the VersaFine ink because it is made for fine lines.
I put 1/2 Inch Scor-Tape about 1/4 inch from the edge of the white cardstock.
Over the tape, I put silver glitter.
To make it easier, you could use our Glitter Silver Tape.
