Let's Make a Card

Hi everyone! It's Lindsay here with you today, from Crafting While Caffeinated Blog and YouTue Channel, and I am so excited to be back sharing another simple card with you all! Keep reading below to see how I created this fun and easy card!

To create this card I started by stamping the new Large Hydrangea stamp twice with Versafine Clair in Nocturne. Then, I ink blended the flowers on one of the stamped images with two different inks. And on the second stamped image, I ink blended only the leaves with two different colors of green ink. After "coloring" the images I fussy cut the separate pieces and ran a black marker along the cut edges.

On a 2" x 2" square of white cardstock I ink blended a few clouds and then glued down the pieces of the flower. I glued the leaves down with liquid adhesive and then the top I adhered with dimensional adhesive. This adds a bit of dimension to the flower for the 3D look.

After matting the scene with a piece of kraft cardstock, I adhered the scene onto an A2 top folding card base. To finish this card I used the new "We Love You" sentiment on the bottom of the card base.
