Second Generation Stamping and Thank You cards

Hey everyone!! Thank you so much for stopping by!  This is Shanna today with a fun pair of cards featuring the new release Smile.  

I love cards that can be easily mass-produced.  This card design creates 2 cards at the same time. 

Second-generation stamping is the main technique used for both of these cards.  On the first panel, I stamped the Thanks Big stamp in rainbow order staggering the stamp down some with each color using my MISTI stamp positioner.  The key is before you move or clean the Thanks Big stamp--you stamp again on another panel.  The second panel will be lighter in color, almost pastel compared to the first stamping.  TWO for ONE!  Second-generation stamping is used a lot in scene cards too to create depth in a scene, making things look layered or further away.

I added the Smile sentiment to another die cut panel, and dragged the top and bottom edge across a Versamark ink pad, and added some white tinsel embossing powder for some added bling!  The sentiment panel was matted, and then popped up over the background panel with foam tape.  Then the panels were mounted to the card bases.

The cards were both finished off with a small scattering of iridescent sequins.
