Watercoloring Flower Stamps To Create Pretty Cards

Hello! Nadine here today with a pretty hello card I created by watercoloring a stamped image.

I used the Sunflower Trio Stamp and stamped it with VersaMark on watercolor paper and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I then used VersaColor Ink but you can use any water-based ink by smooshing the ink onto a craft mat and then with a watercolor brush start painting in the flowers. Then I fussy cut the flowers out and adhered them to the front of my card.

Behind the flowers, I die cut out 2 circles, one in gold cardstock and one in white cardstock. The white one I ran through an embossing folder to give it more texture. The hello sentiment was also die cut out in gold cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!

I design for several companies because I genuinely love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free products to work with, and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use, and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.
