Hi friends, Martha Lucia here. Today I have two Mini Slimline Christmas Cards featuring the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.
This card is featuring the recently released Lady with Holding Hand. I really like this rubber stamp and it is a perfect size for the Mini Slimline Cards. First, I stamped it onto White Smooth Card Stock and then colored it with a combination of Illustrator Markers and TriBlend Markers. I used the TriBlend for the skin, the market that I used was the Fair Skin Blend. It is a set of 3 markers the FS6 + FS7 + FS8. The Illustrator colors were LG1, LG3, GY4, and DR2. After colored the Lady with Holding Hand, I fussy cut the image with scissors and let it aside for a while.
I continue the process of creating the layers of my card. First, I made the card base using green card stock, Then, I die cut a second layer using the large size of the Delighted Lace Rectangle Mini Slimline Die onto Red Card stock. I love how this delicate border looks over the card bases. I pasted it directly over the card. Additionally, I die-cut a third layer using designer paper. But this time, I used the second size of the Big & Little Chain Rectangle Mini Slimline Dies. With this, I enhance the dots and details of all the dies that I used.
Over the third layer, I stamped the sentiments Joy and Peace with VersaFine Pigment Onix. Then, I pasted the colored Lady over this layer with crafty foam tape and finalized the card pasting the entire decorated layer over the card with 3D foam tape.
MORE INSPIRATION
My second card keeps the same sketch, I just turned the layout to vertical and stamped the sentiment on the lower part. This time, I used the Santa and Reindeer Dancing Stamp and the Make a Rum Cake as sentiment. Additionally, I used the large size of the Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Mini Slimline Die as a mat for the decorated layer.
I colored the Santa and Reindeer Dancing Stamp with Classique Markers and fussy cut it with scissors. The colors of Classique Markers were DR1, DR3, GB3, GB6, FS2, FS9, CR3, and Blender. Additionally, I changed the color of the card base to create a different contrast.
Honestly, this is the same layout applied to two different cards.. It is a great way to create mass cards specialty when you have to make Christmas cards.
