Fishy Birthday Card

Hello friends, Ericka here, and today I have a fishy birthday card using Card Kit #9 along with some fun fish stamps. These card kits are great because you can use them to create a bunch of different cards using a similar layout.

This is a fun card kit and I love the cut outs and all the ways you can use them. I started out stamping the Pluto Octopus in Copic friendly ink. I also stamped the Fish in the Sea sentiment as well as the Fish Stripe and Fish Polka Dots on the tabs. I used my Copics to color them all up and then got to work on the inside of the card.

I stamped the fish along with the Bubbles and the Birthday 1 sentiment on the inside and colored them up. A tip to remember is that if you stamp an image on the tap, you can try to line it up with the stamp on the inside of the card. I thought of this after I already stamped my first Polka Dots fish on the inside of my card. The second one lined up well with the tail of the fish on the bottom tab.

All in all, this was a super fun birthday card to make. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a chance to play with this great Card Kit on sale now!

Alien Birthday Slider Surprise Card with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

Hello, Stampers! Vicky here today with a fun surprise Slider Card. I have an alien birthday slider card to share with you. I used one of the June card kits to create my card. It is a standard A2 card that is easy and fun to make.

On the front, I stamped Open Stars sm. and colored them in.
On the front of the card, there is a folded piece for the slider and I put adhesive on the bottom part of the fold.

I stamped Out Of This World on the yellow card stock and adhered it to the bottom part of the fold.
When you pull the slider up, the front of the card will stand up.
In the window of the card, I put another piece of yellow card stock with the Alien stamped, colored, and cut out.
Behind the stand-up front is the card that is pulled to slide the front up so I used this area to add the Space Ship. I stamped the Alien again and just used his head to put into the Space Ship.

Staz On Ink- Jet Black
Zig Clean Color Markers

First I created a night sky blended background using Distress Oxide Inks. First you start with the colours you want to peek through in the sky, blending onto white cardstock. Then you cover the whole card front using the black soot ink. Mist the piece with water, and let the ink react. Then heat set the whole thing.

Next Stamp the sentiment onto the card front using an embossing pad and white embossing powder. Now using a white pen, add the stars to the background. Mat the card front in white cardstock then add to the white cardstock card base using foam tape.

Next, stamp the images onto white cardstock. Add color to the images using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush. I also stamped the emoji image into the middle of the aliens t-shirt just for fun haha. Fussy cut the images and add to the card front using foam squares of different thicknesses to add dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

More out of this world Box Card Fun!

Hello and Welcome! This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness with another fun project featuring Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps!!

Today I am showing you another fun and interactive box card kit from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps in collaboration with The Paper Cut! These two new kits feature box cards that come pre-cut and scored. NO math, NO die-cutting, NO fuss!! In each kit, you get 5 blank card bases and 3 stamps that help complete your card!

My card today features Card Kit 8 and was so much fun to create!

I stamped and Copic colored the images and then fussy cut them out.  I decided the UFO needed a little beam coming from under it, so I proceeded to laminate some starry sequins into a laminator pouch and cut it with my paper trimmer afterward!  I love how it adds a little extra, and actually attaches the UFO to the card!  The little alien is coming in peace, and was a ton of fun to color!

The sentiment that comes with this kit just makes me giggle.. Because we ALL have "those moments" lol. I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder onto some patterned galaxy paper from my stash. Fun right

One of the coolest features of a box card is the fact they fold completely flat to still fit in an envelope too for mailing. There is an option to purchase only card blanks if you'd prefer to use different stamps.  You can find them HERE.

By the way... ALL the card kits, including both NEW ones for June, are on SALE!!!!
You save 20% on one, or 25% when you buy both kits!!  YAY for saving moo-lah!

You can find more inspiration, and share your own fabulous projects in the Crackerbox and Suzy Flaunt it if You Made it Facebook group!

That wraps up my post for today, I will be back here soon with another dose of red rubber inspiration!  Be sure to follow along with me over on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with all my caffeinated adventures!  Till next time, bye!

Abducted by Aliens Belated Birthday Card

Hi Everybody, Cornelia here today. Some of the products I have used have been provided to me by various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.

You may be familiar with the new card kits that Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps carries in the store. The card kit for June is an A2 pop-up box card. But I just used the stamps to make a regular card here.

Here is the  Card Kit 8 I used:

I started with patterned paper and sponged all those white stars with different kinds of distress oxide inks. I cut out the stamps and colored them with Inktense and water brush markers. I heat embossed the sentiment and cut it apart. Added little strips of patterned paper at the bottoms of the sentiment strips. Assembled the card, using foam tape for the alien and UFO.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting!
Happy Stamping!

Out of this world Card

Hello there, Martha Lucia here! Today I have a fun card featuring the monthly card kit #7 from Crackerbox & Suzy StampsThe card kit for June is an A2 pop-up box card.

I cut some designer paper for the background and for the flaps of the box. Then, I stamped the astronaut, rocket, and moon onto white smooth card stock and colored them with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir.
Additionally, I fussy cut them with scissors and left them aside for a while. I also added those cuts to the inside partitions with strips of vellum card stock.

I stamped the sentiment onto the front flap with VersaFine Pigment Onix.
Tip: it would have been better to do that before you adhere to the paper.

As a final touch, I just added some tiny superhero stars made with clay that I pasted over the flaps of the card with Glue Pend Dual Tip.

This is the kit that I used to make my card. But if you noticed I used one additional stamp. It is because this month we have some additional stamps that work wonderfully with the monthly kits. You can find them in Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Store.

You can find all the products that I used on this card listed HERE

Thank you for stopping by!

Belated Birthday Popup Box Card With Alien Stamps

Hello Stamper! Vicky here today with a fun Alien Pop Up Card Kit that can be used for any age! There are 20% and 25% off on the card kits!!

Here is one of our Card Kits for June. You get 3 stamps, alien, spaceship and saying, and 5 Pop Up Cards that fold flat for mailing. The Moon Full stamp is one that is not in the kit.

I started by stamping the images on Ex-Press card stock, coloring with Copic markers, and cutting them out.
This box is actually pretty easy to make. One thing you will need is clear plastic strips to attach the images to. This is the most fun part~I bought some donuts and cut strips from the plastic container. I also had some donuts while working on this project, BONUS! But any plastic container will work.

There are instructions in the kit, but
here are a couple of simple steps I did to put this box together.

Cut 1 strip of 2x5.5 for the back of the box (long blue strip) and
6 panels 2x (a little under)2 3/4 ~3 blue, 3 yellow

The other side of the box.

You will get 4 strips with fold creases on the end. Adhere the strip near the fold line and down a little.

Adhere to all 3 strips.

Adhere the other end of the strips and lay them flat.

Fold the card in half and lay the last flap over the strips.

When you unfold the box, the strips will be inside the box.

Adhere the little flap to close the box.

Cut your plastic strips about 1/8 thin and adhere to image and to the strips inside the box!
Here you can see the blue panels on the outside of the box.

It really is easy!
I did the back panel in blue for the instructions to see it better but I changed the blue to yellow for the box. I think this box will be fun. I love the 3D effect.

If you want to get real creative, decorate the outside of the box!!

Outer Space Pop Up Birthday Card

Hello friends, Ericka here sharing a fun Birthday card using the Card Kit 7 and some pattern paper.
I love interactive card kits and the fun ways to use them. The Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Card Kits take the guesswork out of figuring out the mechanics of an interactive card and now you can get your favorite June card kits at 20% off and if you get both kits you will get 25% off the second one.

The box kit comes in the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps June Card Kitsyou will get 5 popup box cards to create along with 3 stamps: 1 sentiment and 2 images.

To create my card, I found some pattern paper I had in my stash and measured out cut-out pieces measuring 2 x 2 1/2 to use on my panels. Before assembling the card, I glued all my fun paper on the panels, which included the outside and top inside for the card.

I stamped the astronaut and space ship, included in the kit, and used Copic markers to color them up. I also added the Moon Full stamp and stamped it on some leftover background paper.

I then added pattern paper to the box inserts and glued them in place. I stamped the included sentiment and attached it to the outside of the box. I also used the Sky's The Limit sentiment on the inside of the box.

These are great cards and my kids are already asking me to make more! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a chance to play with these great cards!

New June Card Kits - Pop-up Birthday Box Card

Hi Everybody, Cornelia here today. Some of the products I have used have been provided to me by various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.
You may be familiar with the new card kits that Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps carries in the store. The card kit for June is an A2 pop-up box card. If you always wanted to make one of those boxes but shied away from the work involved, you might want to try this. But I warn you - it's still a fair amount of time that goes into that. So - something for a very special occasion or very special person...... at least for me.

For my card I used this Card Kit.:

I cut some designer paper from Funky Fossil Designs for the background. I stamped the astronaut, rocket, and moon and colored them with water brush pens. Cut them out. Also used some die-cut stars. Added those cuts to the inside partitions with strips of clear sturdy plastic (recycled packaging material). Stamped the sentiment onto the front flap and heat embossed it - it would have been better to do that before you adhere the paper....

Here are a few different angles on my pop-up card:

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting!
Happy Stamping!
