Hello! This is Shanna today with a fabulous Father's Day gift tag tutorial featuring stamps from Crackerbox Stamps. Father's Day is just around the corner---and I have the perfect gift tag idea for you! I used the new Super Guy stamp and created a couple tags that are meant to go onto bottles such as wine or beer. Perfect for all those awesome dads out there!
I made 2 different tags--one using a die from my stash that cuts the tag out, but the other I did with only the addition of a circle die, or punch (but you could even trace and cut this out by hand) so the project can be done completely without dies if you desire! YAY! Here's how---
1. Cut the base from sturdy cardstock at 3" x 8.5"
2. Score across at 6" from bottom
3. Use a circle die measuring about 1.5-2" across; a punch or traced circle work here as well to cut the opening for the bottle top. You can also round the top 2 corners.
4. *Optional* Create a frame for circle opening by cutting a larger circle out and framing it around the first one.
5. Cut a panel from white cardstock measuring slightly smaller than 3" x 6"
6. Stamp the Super Guy stamp directly onto the panel; optionally you can shade in a color of choice (hello is pictured) to add interest. You can also color!! Stamp Best Dad Ever sentiment beneath the image.
7. Flip tag over, stamp Super Guy again and then stamp the Man of my Heart sentiment--perfect space to add an additional handwritten message as well! Then you are done!
Here is a recap of the stamps I used today--affiliate links are used at no cost to you--Thank you for your support!
