Thank You For Being The Reason I Smile Card

I hope you are having a wonderful day! Ericka here and I have a fun Monarch card I made using the new Smile sentiment.

 

 

I love this large Smile sentiment and it goes perfectly with a variety of cards.  I started out by stamping both the sentiment and Monarchs on my card base in black ink.

I then colored the Monarchs up with Karin Brush markers in vibrant colors. Once they were dry I added some pretty sequins to finish my card.

Butterfly card with stencil

Happy Saturday! Maria Pilar here sharing this card using stencils and stamps from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

To create this card, I used one of my favorite stamps from Crackerbox & SuzyStamps which is this Fancy Butterfly.

I made a background with a circle stencil using distress oxide peeled paint in the middle of the bottom of the card.

After stamping and cutting out the butterfly, I colored it using Kaleidacolor inks. I love using them for these types of images because of the variety of colors they give. 

On the other hand, on a vegetable artisan paper, I stamped the message Thinking of you with Stazon ink that goes perfectly with this type of paper.

Well, this is my inspiration card for today. I hope you like it.

Frog and Mosquito Funny Card

Hi Everybody,

Cornelia here today. I had some fun with my Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.

I first made an ombre background with watercolors. I stamped the laughing frog in the bottom left corner.  Added the sentiment. Stamped the Mosquito Bug. I colored the frog with markers and the mosquito with  watercolors. Added Stickles to the wings. In the end I loosely masked off the frog and mosquito and added red splatters. Put a thing strip of Washi tape at the bottom.

Shimmery Dragonfly

Happy Friday! Ericka here with a fun dragonfly card using Distress Inks and embossing powder.

I started out by smooshing some Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry, and Salty Ocean on my craft mat and picking up the color on a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock.

Once I was happy with the light color, I let the background dry. I then stamped the Dragonfly and heat embossed it with WOW! Vintage Peacock. I love the lines on this beautiful image and can't wait to color it up for some other cards.

I stamped the Talk to the Moon sentiment in Versafine ink with the same embossing powder to give it a little darker look.

Monarch Butterfly Card by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here to share a colorful card that I made using the Monarch Butterfly.

This is one of my favorite stamps and always that I used it, I love it more! On this opportunity, I decided to use the masking technique and create a complete background with the same image.

CARD DETAILS:

1. Stamp one time the Monarch Butterfly on the center of a white layer card stock.

2. Stamp several Monarch Butterflies onto masking paper or post-it tape.

3. Cut the butterflies stamped on step 2 with scissors just over the lines.

4. Place the masking piece over the original stamped image and then stamp around it with other butterflies.

5. Use all the masking pieces created to create an overlapping effect.

To make a catch eye card, you can use different mediums. I decided to use Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. First, I colored the background with a dark color and then give color to each butterfly.

To finalize the card, I stamped the You're Amazing Sentiment onto White card stock and die cut it with a Stitched Sentiment Strip Die.

Butterfly Music

Happy Friday! I hope you are all doing well. Ericka here with a Butterfly Music card using Distress Oxides blending.

I love the gorgeous detail on this butterfly and the music notes are so pretty.

I started off by masking my paper with Post-It tape and then used the Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Peacock Feather. I used a blender brush to blend the inks until I was happy with the look.

I added some water drops to the background and lifted them up with a paper towel. I love the way this looks and the added interest it adds to ink blending.

 Once my ink was dry, I stamped the butterfly and the Just the Way you Are sentiment in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed them.

I finished my card with a couple of gems for added sparkle. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Masculine Card To Make Them Laugh

Does the guy in your life have a great sense of humor? Then this card will surely make him laugh!

I first smooshed some Memento ink onto a piece of acetate and sprayed it with water, then smooshed it onto a piece of watercolor paper to create my background.

Next, I stamped the Mosquito sentiment and the Mosquito Bug in VersaFine Clair Pinecone and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

For the cute Mosquito Bug, I colored his body with Wink of Stella Glitter Black, his wings with Wink of Stella Glitter Clear, and his eyes in with a Gelly Roll White Pen.

I am playing with stamps from the new release at Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. has a nice selection of them, you can see them all HERE.

 I used a stencil for my background. Stamped the honeypot and flowers. Used bleach to clear the bees wings and the flower petals. The rest I just colored over. Added the sentiment. I also added some dew drops.

Thinking of You Card

Hello crafty friends,

Melinda back with you again! Today I am sharing a pretty card I created featuring the Viney Wreath, Viney Vine, Plaid Background, Olesya's Butterfly and Thinking of You stamps. Here is a look at my finished card.

It is a standard A2, top folding card. I started with a Kraft cardstock base.

I cut a scallop stitched circle from one of my die cuts. I then proceeded to stamp the Viney wreath stamp with my brown ink. I then used some green ink and stamped the Viney Vine around the wreath. For the background mat, I stamped the Plaid background stamp using some blue ink onto some blue cardstock for a tone on tone look.

To the wreath, I added some sequins and then used some light blue ink to stamp my Thinking of you sentiment.

Finally I stamped the pretty Olesya's Butterfly stamp with some blue ink and then colored it with my Copic Markers. I then used just a touch of my Sparkle pen to add a little sparkle to the body of the butterfly. I then used a little foam tape to give it some lift.

Here is one last look at my finished card. I think it turned out very pretty.
