Pink Birthday Cupcake Card
by Nadine Carlier

Hello! Nadine here today sharing a pretty in pink birthday cupcake card.

I used a birthday embossing folder on some pink Core'dinations cardstock and then sanded the raised areas so the white core showed. Then I stamped the Birthday 6 Stamp on some white cardstock with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
Then using a strip of washi tape, I taped over the birthday sentiment and then stamped over that using the Cupcake with Strawberry Stamp.

Then I colored in the cupcake using Copic Markers and die cut it out using a dotted circle die. Then added the circle to the front of my card with some Foam Tape and added some bling and I was done.

Don't forget to visit the STORE and check out all of the stamps that are 20% OFF this month.
Just add them into your cart and you will then see the discount on the stamps once they are in your cart.

Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!

I Have gone BANANAS!!!

Hello everyone!!  Shanna here today from Caffeinated Craftiness to share some fun inspiration... But FIRST!!!! Have you hopped yet??  Yesterday was a huge celebration day for Cracerbox & Suzy Stamps and there is a blog hop with PRIZES involved, you can find out all the info here.

Now onto today's card.  I used some fun stamps that were released last month.  Go Bananas and Banana Single.  I had a lot of fun making this card.  I used a tone on tone stamping technique for my background, stamping the single banana in Bee Sting Yellow ink from Inkon3 onto yellow cardstock. I pulled a scrap of cardstock out that had yellow and black hearts on it and mounted it onto a black piece of cardstock before adhering it to the yellow background.  My sentiment was stamped in black ink on the same yellow cardstock with some single bananas scattered around it as well.  I trimmed it down and mounted it as well onto black cardstock before layering it onto the card panel.  That completed my card!!

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps has a couple of promotions for the month of May!!  LOTS of stamps on sale, be sure to check out the selection online HERE.

Being a nurse, Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps news medical themed stamps is near to my heart, you can find that entire release right here and it's even on sale too!!

That pretty much wraps up my post for today.  I will be back soon with some more inspiration using our favorite red rubber stamps!  Until then, you can find me on Instagram or over on Facebook.  See ya soon!

Valentine Love

Hello fellow crafty friends!! Happy Valentine's Day!!!  DT Shanna here from Caffeinated Craftiness.  I am so excited to share my card for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps today featuring some absolutely adorable Valentine's Day stamps!

The most iconic Valentine's Day candy that comes to mind, second only to heart shaped chocolate boxes, is the timeless conversation hearts!  When I saw these adorable stamps I KNEW I had to make a card with them!  Heart Candy Words-Set of 4 made for an easy set of conversation hearts on my somewhat-CAS card...If you follow me, you know CAS is a struggle for me to stick to!!

I kept my background pretty neutral, as I knew I wanted to keep the focus on the hearts.  I dry embossed a card 4x5.25" white cardstock panel with the hearts embossing folder, and then lightly splattered gold and pink paint onto it.

While the background dried, I stamped my cluster of candy hearts. I masked and added a few others to add some depth to the image.  I colored them with my colored pencils for a pink theme and then fussy cut them out. I wanted to "ground" them a bit, so I grabbed a couple different washi tapes from my stash and added a couple strips.  TIP: so I didn't have the dry embossed background show through my washi, I adhered the washi to scrap cardstock first, them added the strips to the card panel; that way the tape stays smooth!!!   I added a few clay heart embellishments to finish it off and called it done!

Did you make any Valentines cards this year?? I would love to hear about them!

Sweet Penguin Lollipop Covers

Hello crafty friends,
Melinda here with you today. I am excited to share these cute little lollipop / treat covers I made. Check them out!
I made three of them with the adorable Penguin with Hat stamp and the Love You Stamp and a heart stamp. I created the little covers and cut them out with my Cricut Maker and then colored my little penguins with my colored pencils. Following are some close up photos.

For the sentiments I used the Love You Simple sentiment and the heart stamps and then added them as a banner. I added a few dew drops for an extra decorative touch.

I also added a bow with a little dew drop to the lollipop stick.

For the back of the lollipop covers, I used the Heart Candy Words Stamps as well as the heart candy set of two set. I used several inks from the Catherine Pooler Mini Life of the Party mini stamp set.

Here is one last look at the adorable lollipop covers. Be sure to head over to the store and pick up your stamps so you can make your own!

DIY Hand Stamped Recipe Cards + A Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! It's Lindsay here, from Crafting While Caffeinated Blog & YouTube Channel, and I am so excited to share my video tutorial today. Today I am making a set of recipe cards that is so simple and easy to put together you can make a set in under an hour! These are perfect for this time of year to pair with your baked goodies or to gift a newly wed, new home owner, etc. and have a few filled out with some of your (or their) favorite recipes! To see how to make this cute set of DIY hand stamped recipe cards, be sure to watch the video below!

https://youtu.be/yIRiBTaZAf0

These recipe cards are stamped using Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps stamps. They are high quality red rubber stamps and you know each time you stamp them it's going to turn out! Even with these larger stamps, they stamp perfectly each time! To stamp the images I used black dye ink and heavy weight white cardstock cut down to 4" x 5.25".

You can easily stamp these with an acrylic block or by laying them on their backs and pressing the paper on top, but because I was stamping so many of them I used my stamp positioner. This is such a helpful tool, especially when stamping multiples and larger images! I used my Original MISTI, but these will also fit into the Mini MISTI, too.

When I was stamping I used a dye ink. This allowed the ink to dry super fast, so smudging wasn't a problem. I also used a dye ink that would play nicely with my colored pencils. I used colored pencils to color in the images first of all because it's fast. Second, it won't bleed through to the back or the cardstock of bleed if it gets splashed with anything wet!

One last suggestion. If you are giving these as a gift and leaving the cards blank, obviously you won't want to laminate them. However, if you fill any of the recipes in I would highly suggest laminating them when you are done. This will seal in your handwriting and protect the cards from regular kitchen mishaps!

Before I go, I do want to remind you that there are just a few days left in the November sale! All Christmas stamps are 20% off right now, so stock up while you can!!

And if you are interested in any of the stamps I used today, you can find those linked down below. Until next time, happy crafting!!
