Step Aside Funny Coffee Card

Hi friends! Kelly here today with a fun pink, black, and white card with a mix of a little funny a lot of glamour!
STAMPS USED:
Martini Lady

To create this card, I wanted to go with a Parisian Cafe vibe. It's a 6 x 6 size and perfect for stamping the Martini lady and the fun sentiment stamp together! I used jet-black ink to get a crisp, sharp image.
Then, I added a scalloped edge to the top to create an awning and added pretty pink paper for an elegant flair. I just love how this turned out!

Call Me Crazy—Scrap Buster Card

Hello, and welcome back!  This is Shanna here today with a super fun and FUNNY card featuring products from Crackerbox Stamps.

This card was done with scraps and the super fun Call Me Crazy sentiment stamps from Crackerbox Stamps!
My project today was made using a variety of scraps of cardstock cut down at an angle and then trimmed to fit a panel slightly smaller than A2 size. The strips were placed in a circular ray pattern with a center point focused on the lower left-hand corner of the panel. Then die cut a circle big enough to frame my sentiment from that corner.
I heat embossed my Call Me Crazy sentiment in gold embossing powder onto black cardstock, and the scrap paper panel was popped up with foam tape over it to finish the card!
The Call Me Crazy stamp was almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point—lol—because I REALLY DO like cutting up paper and gluing it back together!! Haha

That wraps up today’s project—I will return soon with another!

Snarky "Old" Birthday Card

Hello, crafty friends! Ericka here and today I have a fun birthday card using the Know You're Getting stamp.

I love this stamp for a funny, snarky birthday card. It also goes perfectly with the Car Front or the Mini Cooper stamp. I stamped both the sentiment and car and clear heat embossed them. I did a little watercoloring with my Lindy's Magical powders and then added some white gel pen for accents. I finished my card with a little ink blending on the edges. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Grant Me Serenity Flower Card

Hello! Nadine here today with a pretty and snarky card.

Do you ever play around with different mediums and create pretty backgrounds? I do, and I have a lot of them lying around. So I decided to be creative and stamp some images on them and fussy cut them out to create a fun and simple card. All I had to do was stamp the Grant Me Serenity sentiment in the center of my card front and attach the Lupin Leaves around it. Easy peasy and a great way to use up those scraps!

Who Left The Bag of Idiots Open Snarky Card

Hi Everybody! Cornelia here today. I am back with my Crackerbox Stamps post for this week. Crackerbox Stamps recently had a new release with hilariously snarky sentiments. One of which I used here.

I used patterned paper for my background and glued it to the card base. I stamped half of the sentiment (I cut the stamp apart, but you can mask it if you don't want to do that). I colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. Added it to the paper. I used a generic circle die to cut the hole into the card front. I marked the opening on the inside of the card and stamped the lady and the rest of the sentiment. I decided to not color the image, as there already is enough color on my card.

Happiness is... Shopping Card

Hello and welcome! This is Shanna here today, and I am excited to bring you the next card in my Happiness is card series featuring some of the stamps from the Happiness Is Collection from Crackerbox Stamps! This collection has a TON of different sentiment choices, and I am really looking forward to sharing some of them with all of you over the coming months.  Be sure to read to the end of the post for a special treat!!
ALL STAMPS USED:

This card has some really fun and easy techniques I wanted to share with all of you!  Let’s start off with that fun shoe background. The technique is called “emboss resist”.  I started by ink-blending a multicolored card panel using a rainbow of colors.  I heat set that dry, and then I heat embossed the Floral Lady stamp in a rose gold-toned embossing powder.  After that was cooled off, I masked it off with a fussy cut post-it so I could stamp the Shoe Background stamp directly beside the Floral Lady—I loved having the happy accident of the heights of these two images being pretty near identical! The Shoe background was stamped in embossing ink and then heat embossed as well in clear embossing powder.  The clear embossing powder essentially “traps” the color underneath.  The next step in this technique is to take a dark ink, black in this case, and ink blend all over the panel.  The heat-embossed images will not be colored, only the paper—the embossed images *resist* the ink, ergo the name of the technique :)

After finishing my background/focal panel, I needed to add my sentiment.  I trimmed my focal panel down and mounted it onto a piece of iridescent vellum for extra shimmer—then attached it to an A2 card base.  My sentiment was heat embossed in the same rose gold embossing powder as I did the Floral Lady image to tie it all together.  The sentiment was a little long—so I did paper surgery and cut the sentiment apart after embossing so I could position a shorter cluster sentiment to the side rather than stretch a long sentiment across my card.  So versatile!

I had a lot of fun making these cards---and am really excited to keep moving forward in this series. Take a peek at the Happiness Is collection for yourself and see if you are inspired as well!

Here are the previous cards in the series:

25 Again Snarky Card

Hi Everybody! Cornelia here today. I am back with my Crackerbox Stamps post for this week. Crackerbox Stamps recently had a new release with hilariously snarky sentiments. One of which I used here.

I used a background paper from my stash (brayer clean up paper...). I brushed around the edges to give it a bit more color depth. I stamped Sassy Cindy on scrap paper and colored her with alcohol ink markers, and cut her out. Die cut the speech bubble twice and stamped the 25 Again sentiment inside. I brushed the edges of the bottom bubble with the same color I used for brushing the bottom of my card. Added them with a bit of an offset.

Nobody Move Snarky Card

Hello, and welcome back!  This is Shanna here today with a super fun and FUNNY card featuring products from Crackerbox Stamps.

Stamps used in today’s project:

I created a mini-slimline card measuring 3”x 6” for my card base and then added a slightly smaller card panel to the top.  I used one of my Versa Clair ink pads in a purple tone to create a monochromatic look, only pairing it with white cardstock and no other inks.
I started off by stamping the Lady Yelling stamp using my Misti stamping tool.  Using a stamp positioning tool allowed me to keep the same alignment of the image, only moving my panel over to stamp again.  After I had stamped the trio, I used a foam ink blending tool to lightly over the entire panel. My Nobody Move sentiment was stamped, and ink was blended over using the same ink.

That’s all for today. I hope you enjoyed my card!!  I will be back again soon with another card.
Until then! ~Shanna
