The Chill of Winter

Happy Tuesday and I hope you are all doing well. Ericka here with a card using this Knit Sweater set.

 

I love this cute set and had fun coloring it up with colored pencils. I then made my background by masking off the sides of the background and using stencil brushes to blend Distress Oxides in blues.

I then fussy cut out the images and used foam tape to attach them to my background.

 

I thought The Chill of Winter sentiment in white embossing powder would be the perfect match for this cozy set.

You Are Loved Knit Sweater Card

Hello crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I have a sweet little love inspired winter card to share. Here are all of the details.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Used:

Knit Sweater Set of 3         You Are Loved        Snowflakes Large        Scrubs with Heart

Other Products Used:
Chameleon Pens
Distress Oxide Ink- Worn Lipstick
Archival Ink- Jet Black, Pink Peony
Blending Tool
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Petite, Thin 3D Foam Squares
Cardstock- White
Stickles- Diamond

Using black Archival Ink, Stamp the You Are Loved sentiment onto the card front. Then using pink Archival Ink, stamp the snowflake border around the entire card front.

Stamp the images onto white cardstock and add color to them using Chameleon Pens. Fussy cut out the images. Add the mini heart onto the sweater using Thin 3D Foam Squares. Add the sweater to the card front using Crafty Foam Tape.

Dust the edges of the card front using Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool.

Adhere the card front to the card base using Crafty Foam Tape.

Knit Sweater with a Valentine Twist Card

 Hi there, Martha Lucia here to share the Valentine Card with a winter theme. I am featuring the Knit Sweater and PS I love you sentiment from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.

The base of my card is basic black card stock and I pasted a decorated layer directly over it using E-Z Runner Permanent Tape. Then, I die cut a third layer using the second size of the Mosaic Triangle Edge Rectangle Dies onto White Smooth Card Stock. In addition, I created a basic black mat for this piece to see it through the tiny triangles.

I stamped the Knit Sweater onto the white layer using Simon Hurley Dye Ink Pad Bee Sting from Ranger. Then, I a separate piece of Real Red card stock, I stamped the same image but using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onix. I fussy cut the image and arranged it over the white layer with crafty foam tape. In addition, I stamped the sentiment PS I love You on the right side corner. I pasted this layer over the decorated card base using crafty foam tape.

As a final touch, a small paper flower pasted with a Glue Dot over one of the knit sweaters!

A Warmed Winter Friendship Card

Hello everyone! First of all, I wish you a very very very Happy New Year 2021! I start the year by sharing my first card for Crackerbox & SuzyStamps. It is a winter card with a lovely message and a cheerful snowman.

I create this card using two stamps: Chill of Winter and Snowman Joy and a designer paper on the white card stock at the base of the card.

First I stamped the Snowman Joy stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of textured card stock and colored some parts of the stamp. This ink is perfect for later coloring with alcohol markers.

On the other hand, on a vellum strip, I stamped the Chill of Winter sentiment with Stazon Black Cherry ink that I can use on any surface. Then I glued it to the decorated paper by turning around from behind. Next, I pasted the cardboard with the snowman stamp that I love. He's very happy, isn't he?

And now I only had to glue the whole set to the cardboard base I liked the contrast between the background of the designer paper and the clarity given by the stamps.

Peace In Your Heart Winter Card

Hello, winter loving friends! The season is just beginning where I am, but I am loving the cooler temps and snowy days. Here is a fun little wintery card and all of the details.

Blending Tool and Mat
Zig Clean Color Markers
Waterbrush
Stickles- Diamond
Glitter Paper
Cardstock- White
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- 3D Foam Squares, E-Z Runner Grand, Crafty Foam Tape, Thin 3D Foam Squares

Cut a piece of the white cardstock card front to 3.75x5. Blend the background using Distress Oxide Inks and a blending tool. Using my trusty MISTI, I added the sentiment to the front of the card using black ink.

Stamp the images using black ink onto white cardstock. Add color to the images using Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush. Fussy cut out the images.

Cut a piece of white glitter paper to go along the bottom of the card front. Mat the card front in white cardstock and adhere to the card base using foam tape. Add the fussy cut images to the card using foam squares.

Wintery Christmas Card with Sentiment

Hello and welcome everyone! Maria Pilar here with my last card for the year. For today, I made a CAS card with a sentiment.

For the penultimate day of the year, I have chosen to make this simple card for Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps with a sentiment that I find very endearing and more so considering everything we have experienced this year.

Since I still have epicondylitis on my right arm, I used a cardboard embossed of my craft stash with a large snowflake. I used various snowflake stamps from the store: Snowflake Trio and Snowflakes Small to frame the sentiment Enjoy the Warmth. I did hot embossing with the snowflake stamps using white Wow embossing powders. I stamped them around the edge of the white card leaving a free space in the middle.

To finalize, I stamped the central motif of the card, which is the message, with Stazon Black Cherry, coordinated with the red card that I pasted between the base of the kraft cardstock and the white card where the stamps are.

Winter Sucks Snarky Card

 Hello! Nadine here today with a snarky winter squirrel card.

I used the Chuck the Squirrel Stamp and colored him in with Copic Markers. Then for the snarky sentiment, I used the Winter Sucks Stamp. For the background, I used some patterned papers that I have had in my stash for years.

Embossing Christmas card

Hello and welcome! Maria Pilar here featuring an embossing Christmas card with this Cool Deer from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. 

I love this Cool Deer stamp and used an embossing cardstock with snowflakes. 

To create my card, I made the composition with the Chill word and the Cool Deer using my Misti to stamp it. After that I used Copics markers in various shades of red to colorize the image in some areas. It is not necessary to color an entire image to focus on it.

Continuing the process, I added snow effect relief paste on the word Chill. And finally, I added some red enamel dots on the surface of the card.

As you can see, to create this card I used kraft cardstock for the base, red cardboard to make a frame for the white where I made the stamping and the embossing.

Slimline Winter Card by Martha Lucia

Hi there, Martha Lucia here to present you a Slimline Winter Card using the Knit Hat, Knit Mittens, and the Forever and Ever sentiment.

This is a very fun card using the same stamp. I decided to cut the white smooth layer with one of the Double Roped Rectangle Slimline Dies. Then, I stamped several times the Knit Hat to create with them a rainbow. I colored all the hats with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. 

At the end of the rainbow, I just added the Knit Mittens.

To complete the look, I stamped the sentiment Forever and ever with VersaFine Pigment Onix Ink.  Additionally, I splattered the lover part of the layer with Glimmer Mist Bahama Blue. To finalize the card, I pasted the decorated layer over the card base using crafty foam tape.

Winter Stamped Card by Martha Lucia

Hi there, Martha Lucia here featuring a winter stamped card created with a complete collection of stamps. Let me show the card:

I stamped the Knit Sweater stamp onto watercolor card A2 and colored the stamp with Viviva watercolors. In addition, I splattered it with a gold-tone. To continue with the process, I resized the layer with a scalloped frame and stamped the sentiment warm winter wishing. 

In a separate piece of watercolor card A2, I stamped the Knit Hat and the Knit Mittens, colored them with lighter tones and fussy cut them with scissors. In addition, I pasted them over the decorated layer with 3D Foam Squares. As a final touch, I added some tiny Falling Snow Sprinkles with Glue Pen Dual Tip Adhesive and pasted the decorated layer over a blue card base with crafty foam tape.

Gel Press Pine Prints Christmas Tags

Happy December! Ericka here and I hope you are all doing well. I have some quick tags I made for gifts using a gel press and the Pine Branch stamp.

These tags were super easy and fun to make. I took a gel press and a brayer and used Distress Oxides in greens to create a green background. Before I picked up the ink with white cardstock, I took the Pine Branch stamp and used Distress Oxide in Forest Moss and stamped it on my gel press for a pretty subdued image.

I then took a tag die and cut two tags from the print I made.

I then stamped the Spirit of Christmas and Chill of Winter Stamp in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed them.

I added a fun tinsel ribbon to complete the festive look.
