Christmas CAS card

Hello and welcome crafty friends! Maria Pilar is here with a new Christmas CAS card.

Today I bring you a card from the collaboration we have this month between Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and Rinea.
This is a very Christmas card. I used a layer of red Rinea paper foiled to make a frame on the white cardboard where the Holly Border and Merry Christmas stamps are stamped with different colors of Stazon ink.

On the other hand, I stamped the Ornament Dangle stamp on a piece of blue foil that appears hanging from the top of the card. Here's a closer view at the detail of the stamp stamped on the foil. I love using foil because, depending on the light it gives it, we see a variety of colors.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps is offering 20% OFF on Christmas and Winter categories this month. You can visit the stamps  HERE.

Thank you very much for stopping by! Happy shopping!

Ghost Ink Stamping with Snowflakes

Happy Sunday! Ericka here and I have a winter snowflake card I made as part of a collaboration with Rinea who makes beautiful foils.

For my card today I used the Rinea Ghost Ink and stamped the Snowflake Background on the foil. I heat set the ink and then used a paper towel that I had sprayed isoprobe alcohol on and wiped off the snowflakes to reveal a silver background. I carefully tore the corners of the foil to give it a more distressed look.

I noticed that the snowflake stamp had the ink from the foil, and used it to stamp on white cardstock.  I stamped the Coffee Cup Heart and clear heat embossed it on the paper to coordinate it with my background.

I used the same technique on for the sentiment and added a small bow.

Thanks for stopping by for a fun way to stamp on foil. Go and check out Rinea Foil Papers they are so fun to play with to create a variety of projects. Also, we have two sales if you visit the STORE

1)  Below are the categories stamps that are 20% OFF this month. Just add them into your cart and you will then see the discount on the stamps once they are in your cart.
2)  Now until November 13th there is a 30% off sale on the DRINK category

Warmth Chrismas Card!

Hello everyone! Maria Pilar is here and today I bring you a Christmas CAS card with these beautiful Christmas stamps.

To create my card I have chosen a blank textured cardboard. First of all, I printed with Stazon black this nice Eskimo that I only gave color to the drawings of his suit.
TIP: being a textured cardboard, the hair in the image was "squared" so I used a black marker to fill in all the hair.

Then I stamped the sentiment Warmth In Your Igloo with Black Cherry also from Stazon. After that, to add dimension to my card, I pasted this textured cardboard with Crafty Foam Tape White
To finish I glued some white sequins that, as you can see, with the effects of light to make the photo, each one looks a different color. But I promise that they are all white, LOL

In October, Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps has 20% OFF on the categories Fall, Thanksgiving, and Leaves & Trees.

Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy a very nice week.

Winter Lovers Card

Hello, crafty friends and possible Winter Lovers! Tracy here, and today I have a fun little snarky card to share, using one of Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps new sentiments. Here are all of the details.

Snowflakes Large                                  Winter Lovers

Other Products Used:
Stickles- Diamond, Distress Oxide Ink (Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass), Blending Tool and Mat, MISTI, Embossing Pad, White Embossing Powder, Staz On Ink-Jet Black, Cardstock- White, Paper Distresser, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (E-Z Runner Ultra, Crafty Foam Tape)

I started creating my card by cutting white cardstock to the card front size and doing a simple blended background with Distress Oxide Inks. Then using the snowflake cluster stamp and an embossing pad, stamp snowflakes around the border of the card front and heat with white embossing powder.

Using my trusty MISTI, I added the sentiment to the middle of the card front using black Staz On Ink. Cut a white cardstock mat for the card front and distress the edges of the paper. Adhere these 2 layers together, and then adhere them to the white cardstock card base using foam tape. Using Stickles, create a glitter border around the card front.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas in June

Hi Everybody,

Cornelia here today. Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.

I hope you don't mind me showing you a Christmas card at this time....However I got inspired by the Library challenge and immediately know that Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps has the perfect selection of stamps for it.

And here are all those stamps:

As you can see, I used a blue background and stamped with Versamark. Heat embossed in gold. Added the grid with a Versamark pen. Heat embossed. The Noel is stamped on a rusty orange background paper. I also did some sponging in the upper left and lower right corner.

Here are the 20% off stamp sale categories:
The card technique is STENCIL.

No photo description available.

You can get $5.00 store credit once a week. Each month we will have several categories on sale for 20% OFF and a technique for that month. All you have to do is make a card with at least one stamp from the sales category and use the technique (in June its "stencil") and
Vicky will put $5.00 on your store account and leave you a comment that it is done. We can't wait to see your creative work!

Winter's Butterflies

Hello stamping friends! Tracy here, and today I have a pretty little winter card to share.
I have a love hate relationship with winter. I'm not a fan of the cold or messy roads...but I sure do love to see it snow and how the world transforms when it does.
I thought I would create a card that reflects that love, and one that could brighten up someones winter day.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Used:
Monarch Butterfly                 Snowflakes/Butterflies                Snowflakes Large

Other Products Used:
MISTI
Catherine Pooler Ink- Midnight
Zig Clean Color Markers
Waterbrush
Distress Oxide Ink- Seedless Preserves, Tumbled Glass
Blending Tool
Ranger- White Embossing Powder
Stickles- Diamond
Gems
Cardstock- White
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- Crafty Foam Tape, E-Z Runner Petite, Adhesive Dots Micro

I created a blended background using Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool onto white cardstock. Then using white embossing powder I added a border of snowflakes. Next with my trusty MISTI I added the sentiment also using white embossing powder. Gems were added to the middle of some of the snowflakes.
Stamp the butterfly using black ink and then add colour using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush. I shaped the butterfly with my fingers and added it to the card using mini glue dots.
Once I matted the blended card front in white cardstock, I added Stickles around the white cardstock mat for a little extra sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Butterflies in Winter

Hello everyone!  This is Shanna here today with another fun card featuring some whimsical stamps from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.
Today's card features 3 different stamps from the vast collection available over in the shop!
Snowflakes Small & Medium (set of 2)
Winter’s Butterfly

I had a lot of fun using the emboss resist technique on a slimline shaped card. Slimline cards are also known as A10 size cards, fitting into a legal envelope.  I started by stamping my snowflakes in mbissing ink, then heat embossing them all in white embossing powder.  I used distress oxides in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock feathers, and Wilted Violet for my background. I love how the white snowflakes POP against the vibrant background.

I heat embossed my sentiment in sterling embossing powder and cut it apart to arrange in the centr of my slimline panel.  That finished off the card!

Guess what!!!???!!!  As a celebration of the new design team members, our favorite stamps are 50% OFF for the month of January!!!  That is so awesome!!!  Here is a link to my earlier post this month using this beautiful Castle stamp.

There is also a special going on thought January over in the shop, so be sure to check your wishlist and shop away! Valentines cards are coming up fast!

Well, that wraps up my post for today! Be sure to stop by and say hello over at my blog, Caffeinated Craftiness or follow me over on Instagram to keep up with my caffeinated adventures!!  See you again soon!

A Magical New Year to YOU!

Hello everyone!  This is Shanna here today, and I am so excited to be starting out 2020 as one of the newest members of the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps design team!  They have such a wide variety of stamps, there is seriously something for everyone!  I was asked to choose a favorite stamp from their ginormous catalog of choices, and was instantly drawn to the Castle stamp.  My house is full of Harry Potter fans, and this castle has Potter-esque vibes all over it!

My card is a single layer card, with the exception of the sparkles, because well, yeah...Sparkles make like sooo much more fun!  I started out by stamping my Castle and then masking it so I could use my Distress Oxide inks and blend a background with a Blending Buddy brush.  I chose blues and purples to blend my sky, and even masked off a moon behind the clouds! I stuck with gray for the ground, to blend in with the stone path.  I used Chipped Saphire Distress Oxide and the Snowflakes-Large stamp to add a bit more wintery interest to my sky.  Those snowflakes are so sweet and delicate!

After all the background work was done, I moved on to coloring.  I used my Nuvo alcohol markers in gray tones to color the castle and stone path, and purple for the flag.  After all the coloring was done, I felt it was missing a bit of *magic*.... I grabbed a shaker mix of sequin bits and mylar bits and dotted glue across the sky in a diagonal pattern across my card.  I adhered the mix randomly, and voila!  The card was complete!

Guess what!!!???!!!  As a celebration of the new design team members, our favorite stamps are 50% OFF for the month of January!!!  That is so awesome!!!

There is also a special going on thought January over in the shop, so be sure to check your wishlist and shop away! Valentines cards are coming up fast!
