Minions Count Phil Halloween Card

Are you ready to get your spook on, my friends?  Toni here with you today sharing a not too spooky Minions Halloween card.

I started the card by cutting out "Minions" in a stitched alphabet and coloring them with Copics.

I stamped Count Phil above and used the same reds on his cloak.  I added the Look for Rainbows sentiment, having masked off the "rainbows" portion and replacing it with "minions." LOL--boo!!!

Harry Potter all squared up!

Hello!  This is Shanna, and I am here today with a fun Harry Potter card featuring some brand-new polymer stamp sets from Crackerbox Stamps!

Today's card features stamps from the following stamp sets:
Harry P 1
Harry P 2

These sets are so MAGICAL and obviously coordinate together seamlessly.  I primarily pulled images from Harry P 1 and then snagged the sentiment from Harry P 2.

The card was created by making what I called "zones" for each image, or set of images I wanted to place on the card.  I kept it symmetrical and used a ruler to help balance.  It is a fun way to set up any theme on a card!

Thanks so much for joining me today. Stop by again soon for another dose of Crackerbox Stamps inspiration!!

Minions Halloween Fun-Fold & Snarky Christmas Cards

Hello, my friends!  Toni here with you today sharing a couple of cards using Minion characters from the new red rubber release. Let me show you but first take a look at all the cuteness!

My first project is a fun-fold Halloween card. I started my card by creating an easel very simply using an A2 card base where I scored the front at the halfway point, 2-1/8", in this case, and folded it into a mountain.

In order for the easel to stay upright, you need to add a little berm on the interior of the card that the front can rest against.  I used a piece of designer paper along with a strip of black glitter washi I had adhered to a piece of black cardstock to give it a bit more height.  I embossed the Don't Scare Me sentiment in white and added a couple of spider enamel dots.

Next I stamped and masked the minions, from left to right: Dave Jumping with Minion 1 bunny ears, Mummy StuartBride KevinGhost MinionFranken Bob, and Count Phil on a piece of Bristol and watercolored them with Zig Real Brush Markers.  I adhered this panel to only the bottom half of the card base folded panel so that when you mail it, it's completely flat.

As for the speech bubbles, I printed those on my laser printer with Aptos size 9 font, printed with white text on a black fill. They add a bit of extra fun.

For the Christmas card, I stamped Reindeer Stuart using Memento Tuxedo Black and masked the left antler before stamping Blowing Snowflakes.  I colored him up with Copics then added a snowy hill and the hilarious Winter Lovers sentiment balanced out by Snowflake Trio.

Humorous Kinky Chicken Card

Hello, everyone!  Toni here with you today with bedroom humor card featuring Chicken on Nest Henrietta.

I started my card by scoring an aqua blue cardstock panel using my score board.  Next I spattered it with Distress Oxide Rusty Hinge. While that was drying, I colored up Henrietta using Copics then fussy cut her out.

I cut out a few hexagons, adhering Henrietta to one and stamping part of the Use a Feather sentiment on another.

I stamped the second half of the sentiment on the inside of the card along with the Chicken Standing image. I love the expression on its face.  LOL!

Please Text Me!

Hello, Janet here with a card for a friend. This pocket card holds a cell phone full of good thoughts.

To make this card, I stamped the pocket on denim paper and cut it out.

Next, I stamped the cell phone, colored it, and cut it out. I also stamped some hashtags, words, and emojis on the phone screen.
The bottom layer is green paper.
Next, I added a layer of white paper with blotches of green and navy ink for color.
I cut that at an angle and attached it to the green layer. I put the pocket on and inserted the cell phone. For the finishing touch, I stamped the word happy on tan paper, attached it to the pocket, and added some brads.

Trick or Treat! A head start on Halloween card

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna today with a fun HALLOWEEN card featuring stamps from Crackerbox Stamps!  Is anyone else ready for Fall to hurry up and get here?  This California girl is ready to be d-o-n-e with the heat!  Halloween crafting is one of my favorites, so I pulled out my favorite Halloween kid stamps and had some masking fun for today's card!

I started off with my card by stamping my trick-or-treating gang using the masking technique.  To somewhat explain, you start my stamping the image you want to be "in front" of the others, and then cover it with a mask--a fussy cut removable adhesive copy--and then stamp the next images and repeat!  I have had this card in my head for a long time and was excited to see it come to life on paper!

While my masks were still applied over the images, I ink-blended my ground and sky by using masking tape to create a line to blend below and then moving it so I could blend above.  A cheap way to keep a crisp horizon line with ink blending!

After my ink blending, I removed the masks and then got to coloring with my Copics!  I love coloring, so this was right up my alley!

The card was finished by stamping the Happy Halloween sentiment onto my ground layer.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I will see you all again soon with another Crackerbox Stamps, inspired project!  ~Shanna

News Flash! It's Your Birthday!

Television with Happy Birthday Airwaves
Hello Stampers! Janet here with a cute and easy card to make for anyone.
I started my card by stamping the T.V., coloring it, and cutting it out. I cut a piece of striped paper that looked like a test pattern to fit the screen and attached it. Next, I stamped Happy Birthday on it. I put the television on a piece of brown paper to look like a shelf. I layered that on designer paper and a green background. Added a few colored brads to make it pop!

Snarky Chicken Friendship Card

Hello, everyone!  Toni here with you today sharing a funny friendship or any occasion card for when you're having one of those days.

This card was super easy to make.  I stamped Miss Prissy and then colored her up with Copics.

I next masked the Miss Prissy sentiment and then added the Go Pluck Yourself.  Both are stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne.

The card felt a touch naked, so I added some fun polka dot washi.
