Guide your life

Hi friends! Maria Pilar is here sharing with you a beautiful love card.


This month we have to use stencils in our cards. So, first of all, I created a distress oxide background in a white cardstock. Then I used a mandala stencil to make a bokeh effect before stamping the Love birds with Blue Stazon ink and embossing it with clear powders. 
On another cardboard I stamped the sentiment Guide your life using the same stencil with distress dusty concord and victorian velvet to give it color.

Coffee Love

Hello friends! It's Maria Pilar here sharing a coffee card.

I made a background by stamping the entire surface of the white cardboard with Coffee Cup Tall stamp. I also cut out two circles  of  Coffee Cup Top View Heart stamp, sticking them on top of each other. This Love sentiment, stamped on a large white band, is the perfect complement to my coffee card.

Beautiful tulip

Hello friends! It's Maria Pilar here sharing a new CAS card.

I used a combination of white and blue to make my card. On a white cardboard I made a blue watercolor background and with a stencil of sun rays I removed part of the watercolor with a wipe. I stamped the Tulip Stem and the Day Be Filled with Sunshine sentiment stamp and hot-dipped it in Seafoam White powder. Next, I cut out the two stamps and pasted them onto white textured cardboard.
Blue sequins, following the color palette I chose, serve to finish the decoration.

Mother's Day!

Hello friends! It's Maria Pilar here sharing a card for Mother's Day.

I used a textured white card to make a background with Distress oxide Abandoned coral ink. Using the masking technique I got a blank oval for this cute Mom & Baby stamp and the Requires Love sentiment. 
I added a few drops of Nuvo Cristal to finish the decoration of the card.

I made another version with Distress oxide Fadded jeans and salmon colored cardboard.

Friends make a day bright

Hello everybody, it's Maria Pilar here. I'm sharing a card with two stamps from the new release of Crackerbox&SuzyStamps  Anniversary for this week. 



On white cardboard I used a round die with false sewing where I stamped this beautiful Peony stamp by coloring it with Copics markers. At the bottom I stamped the Friends make bright sentiment with Stazon Black Cherry and glued the outfit onto embossed cardboard. The flower circle is glued with double-sided foam tape to highlight it.
And, once all the composition was done, I pasted it onto a red cardboard base.
To finish I put a few drops of Nuvo Cristal on the peony.

Start with men

Hello everybody, it's Maria Pilar here with this snarky card from Crackerbox@SuzyStamps Anniversary for the Week 3.


On white cardboard I made a background with Versamagic inks using a mandala die cut. Then I applied Opal Magic Artalchemy wax from Prima Marketing Green Brocade to the entire surface.
I also stamped the message Start with Men with Stazon Black Cherry on die cut white card stock with a faux stitched square edge and pasted it on another larger size die cut on blue card stock, one of the background colors of the mandala.
I only had to add a few pieces of washitape to decorate the snarky sentiment.

Have a Eggstra special day by Maria Pilar

Hello all! Maria Pilar here with you sharing and Easter CAS card. 
Love this cutie Egg with feet stamp and I wanted to use it again.

I chose this sentiment, Eggstra, wishing someone a very special day, that is an "extra" special day, lol
So I decided to stamp this cute Egg with feet twice and colored both with Copic markers. 
On the other hand, I prepared the bottom of my card with splattered watercolors. Then I glued the stamps with double-sided foam tape.
In a few drops of watercolor I put in Glossy accents.

Get well soon!

Hello! It's Maria Pilar here sharing a new card with you. In these days, when we are threatened by the coronavirus and many of us have sick family and friends, I thought that this sentiment that I used from the "Get well" category is ideal for them.

I colored a blue gray cardstock with yellow Versamark ink. Then I made a background with the Flower Doodle Corner stamp all around and only colored her flowers with Copics and I added a drop of yellow Nuvo crystal drop. In the center I pasted the sentiment Chicken Soup, embossed with Wow-embossing powder with double-sided foam tape. Some orange sequins give the finishing touch to the card.

Built from Fire

Hello! It's Maria Pilar here sharing a new card with you.

I used two stamps from the snarky category that is on sale this month. 
I prepared a cardboard by coloring it with watercolors and used a waved edge die to cut it. 
After gluing the two die-cut pieces, I stamped the Esther Pointing stamp with black Stazon ink and, in front of it, the sentiment Built from Fire. Don't you think she's saying it because of her expression? LOL

Live Simply

Hello crafty friends! It's Maria Pilar here with this spiritual card.

I have chosen this spiritual stamp, Live Simply, in promotion this month, as the protagonist for my card. It is embossed with orange embossing powders.
The sentiment has also led me to use the Heart Sassy Squiggle stamp and I have decided to use foil to highlight it.
Both stamps are glued with double-sided foam on corrugated cardboard with many foil touches of the sheets that I used for the heart.
A fabric ribbon on the cardboard and a few sequins give the final touch to the card.
