Mixed Media Snarky Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and today I'm playing with a fun and snarky sentiment stamp, You're Drunk, and a mixed media background.

I stamped the Betty with Questions stamp and the You're Drunk sentiment on white card stock. I then cut them out and added them to some kraft card stock to help the image and sentiment stand out from my busy background.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Minion Breaking The Rules Card

Happy Friday! Ericka here, and I hope you are all doing well. Today I have a quick and fun card using the Stuart with a Cupcake stamp and a new sentiment, I Mean It's Sorta Exciting.

I started by stamping both the image and sentiment on Bristol Smooth paper and coloring it up with my Zig Clean Color Brush pens. I love this fun image; it goes so well with so many Crackerbox sentiments, including this one. After all, who hasn't eaten a cupcake for breakfast, especially around a birthday lol.

I used a foam blending brush and lightly added some Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink to the corners of my panel. I then attached it to a pattern paper I had in my stash.
And there you have it, a quick and fun card that can be used for various occasions. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Bright Gel Press Alcohol Ink Background

Happy Monday, friends! Ericka here, and today I am playing with alcohol inks and a gel press to make a bright background for my card.

I started by applying some bright alcohol ink colors to my gel press and spreading them around with a brayer. I then added some blending solution and waited for the ink to dry. Once they were dry, I applied a thin layer of white acrylic paint and pulled up my print to reveal this bright background.
I stamped the Shades around my card base in Versafine Clair Nocturn ink, and clear heat embossed them. I then stamped the So Bright sentiment on a separate paper and used part of the background to frame it. I love this fun sentiment and the encouragement for anyone starting a new adventure.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Thanks A Minion Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and today I have a thank you card featuring Phil the Minion. I love these fun minion stamps at Crackerbox and there are so many ways to use them.

I created my card by masking off my card base and blending distress ink in Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, and Uncharted Mariner. I then used the top of my Uncharted Mariner and dipped it in the ink, and placed it on my card base to create lines. I also splattered some water on the paper to lift off some ink.

I stamped and colored Phil with watercolor markers and cut him out to add him to my card base. I finished my card with the Thanks a Minion sentiment, and clear heat embossed it. I lined it up a little sideways to match Phil's waving hand. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Distress Ink Inspirational Fairy Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here with a blue fairy card I made using distress inks and this pretty Fairy With Flower stamp. I love this pretty fairy and thought it went perfectly with the sentiment The Future Belongs.

I created my card by taking a Bristol Smooth panel, a thin acrylic stamping block, and smooshed Distress Ink in Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, and Uncharted Mariner. Then, I lightly spritzed the block with water and applied it to my paper. Using a wet wide paintbrush, I brushed the ink down the page to smooth out the patches. I love the textured look this made.

Once my background was dry, I stamped the Fairy With Flower in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and used some sparkle embossing powder to add some shine. I also stamped The Future Belongs sentiment, and clear heat embossed it. I finished my card by adding a white gel pen around the fairy and some Glossy Accents along with the wing. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Summer Drinking Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and I hope you are having a great summer! Today I created a colorful card to celebrate the summery heat. And boy do I know a little about the heat here in Houston, TX. All I can say is ugh and boy do I wish I could make this yummy drink in real life.

I started by stamping my Cocktail Summer Fun and coloring it up with my colored pencils. I wanted to make it a yummy fun drink and so decided to use a variety of colors.

I then found this fun background I had in my stash. I had made it with Color Burst Pigment Powders and smooshed them on plastic onto my paper. I love the brightly colorful and random look. I then cut out my drink and added it to my background with foam tape.

To finish my card, I white heat embossed the Drunk and Disorderly sentiment. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are keeping cool on this hot summer day!

Potty Humor Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and today I have a funny card using the new release available here. Today I'm playing with the Some People Say sentiment and the Toilet Roll on a Holder.

I had a paper leftover with some texture paste I made for sand. I thought this would be a fun way to use my leftover paper and provide a little humor to my card. I stamped the Some People Say in Versafine ink and clear heat embossed it.

I then stamped and fussy cut the Toilet Roll on a Holder and attached it to my card with foam tape. I used my Stabilo pencil to add some shading and lines around my card.

Ink Blending Snarky Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and today I am creating a card using distress ink blending and pairing it with this great snarky set called Ever Notice. I love this snarky sentiment and to make things better, the lady is attached to the sentiment so it makes stamping super simple.

I started by masking off my card base to get a clean line. I used my blending brushes to blend the Distress Oxides in Scattered Straw, Saltwater Taffy, and Festive Berries.

Once my background was dry, I stamped the Ever Notice in Versamark Claire Twilight ink and clear heat embossed it.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Ink Blending Father's Day Card

Hello crafty friend! Ericka here and I have a simple Distress Oxide Blending Father's Day card using the Bear Fun Orson stamp. I love ink blending and how quick you can make a pretty card using a variety of colors.

I started by masking off the top portion of my card case. I then used Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, and Ground Espresso. I then spritzed a little water in my hand, flicked it on the base, and used a paper towel to lift off the water droplets.

Once my background was dry, I stamped the Bear Fun Orson and watercolored him with the Ground Espresso ink. I then stamped the World's Greatest and Dad sentiment and white heat embossed it. There you have it, a quick and easy Father's Day card using some Distress Oxide Ink blending. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Thank You For All You Do Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and today I have a CAS (clean and simple) thank you card I created for my daughter's teachers. The end of school is coming near and I wanted to make sure that both of my girls had some thank you cards to write to their teachers.

I stamped the Daisy Bunch and the Thank You All You Do sentiment in black Versa Claire ink and clear heat embossed them. I then took out my watercolor markers and lightly colored up these pretty daisies.

I finished my card by adding some light purple Nuvo drops. And there you have it, a quick and simple thank you card that is easy to make a bunch lol. You can even get your kids involved and have them color up the flowers for their teachers. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

Embossed Sympathy Butterfly Tree Card

I hope you are all doing well and Happy Mother's Day. As with most holidays, there is lots of happiness but also a sense of loss and remembrance for those who have passed. Today I have a sympathy card I made for my sister-in-law whose mother recently passed away.

I started my card with a base I made using pigment powders and a plastic sheet. I lightly dusted the powder on my card, spritzed it with water, and then used some leftover plastic to smoosh it around.

Once my background was dry, I used Versamark ink and clear heat embossed the Those We Love sentiment. I then stamped and gold heat embossed the Blowing Butterfly Tree. I love this tree and added a little gray shading to the tree to help it stand out.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great week.

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and today I have a quick and fun card using some of the new stamps from Crackerbox. I love this fun Duck Grin and thought he would go perfectly with the Be Like A Duck sentiment.

I started by masking off a portion of my card and then stamping the Duck Grin in black ink and clear heat embossing it. I then used the grass stamp with green distress ink and stamped it in several rows in front of my duck.

I then colored up my duck and sky with watercolor markers. To finish my card, I stamped the Be Like A Duck sentiment in Summertime Versa Clair ink and heat embossed it. There you have it a quick and easy card for a friend with a good sense of humor.

Definition of a Mother

I hope you had a wonderful Easter and had the chance to spend some quality time with family and/or friends. Ericka here and today I have a super simple Mother's Day card using the new Mother Definitions stamp. I love and can relate to most of these especially the first one and the caffeine fueled part lol.

To create my card, I used some Bristol Smooth paper and stamped the Mother Definitions stamp first since it is rather long (as it should be!). I then stamped the Betty with Questions although there are plenty of other mother images that would go along with this sentiment. I clear heat embossed them both.
I found a fun vintage pattern paper that I thought would make a nice card base and glued it down to my card. I trimmed my image so that more of the flowers would show and then used some Antique Linen Distress Ink to shade the white paper.

I then stamped the inside of my card with the Best Mom Ever stamp.

There you have it, a quick and fun card for Mother's Day. Thank you for stopping by and feel free to check out
my blog for any additional supplies.

Mirror Image Stamping and Squirrels Everywhere Card

I hope you are all doing well. Ericka here and today I am playing with some of the new stamps in April as well as Mirror Image stamping.  First of all, I love this Don't Have Duck in Row sentiment as it totally relates to my life now. lol

When I started to create my card, I knew I wanted to use lots of squirrels, but I only had the Squirrel Silly Sm stamp, so I pulled out my Mirror Image Rubber to use in my MISTI and stamped additional images. The Mirror Image Rubber is easy to use and helps you to stretch the stamps you have by producing a mirror image of your stamp. Simply put the rubber in your stamp press, stamp your image onto the rubber, then press your paper onto the rubber to pick up the ink.
After stamping all my squirrels, I stamped the Don't Have Duck in Row sentiment. I colored up my squirrels with colored pencils and added a little bit of glossy accents to the eyes and nuts for some fun shine. To complete my card, I used some Distress Oxides in Antique Linen and Walnut Stain.

Funny Hoppy Easter Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and I hope you are all doing well. Today I have a fun Easter card using the Butt & Ear stamp along with the Hoppy Easter Every Bunny sentiment. I love this fun image and it makes me laugh every time I use it.

I used the Distress Oxides in Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral and blended them onto my card base. I lightly spritzed the paper and lifted off some of the ink.

I then stamped the Butt & Ear stamp in Versafine Sepia and clear heat embossed it. I used the Versafine Black in for the Hoppy Easter Every Bunny sentiment. This was such a fun and quick card to make and I can't wait to send it to my friend.
