Birthday Wishes Card

Hi everyone, Monica here today! Happy Sunday, since tomorrow is my birthday, I am sharing a Birthday Wishes card today using this gorgeous Tulip stamp from Crackerbox Stamps.

I used a fun background in blue to balance out the red.  I hope everyone enjoyed my card and it was so easy to stamp and turn into a gorgeous elegant card.

Minion Breaking The Rules Card

Happy Friday! Ericka here, and I hope you are all doing well. Today I have a quick and fun card using the Stuart with a Cupcake stamp and a new sentiment, I Mean It's Sorta Exciting.

I started by stamping both the image and sentiment on Bristol Smooth paper and coloring it up with my Zig Clean Color Brush pens. I love this fun image; it goes so well with so many Crackerbox sentiments, including this one. After all, who hasn't eaten a cupcake for breakfast, especially around a birthday lol.

I used a foam blending brush and lightly added some Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink to the corners of my panel. I then attached it to a pattern paper I had in my stash.
And there you have it, a quick and fun card that can be used for various occasions. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Harry Potter Sorting Hat Birthday Card

Hello! Nadine here again today with a Harry Potter Sorting Hat birthday card.

I started by creating a background with trees using a stencil and white ink over dark grey cardstock. Then I stamped the Magical Birthday sentiment and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. Next, I stamped the Sorting Hat and colored it with Copic Markers, fussy cut it out, and adhered it with some foam squares. For the eyes in the forest, I added some Small Silver Eyes.

Don't let the MUGGLES get you down!

Hello and welcome!!  This is Shanna with Caffeinated Craftiness!  I am here today with a MAGICAL red rubber project using the newest release from Crackerbox Stamps.  Their newest release is in honor of our (well, MY) favorite young wizard, Harry Potter!  Crackerbox Stamps has a wide selection of HP-inspired stamps, and all previously released ones are still on sale today!!

For today's cards, I am sharing a card that mixes the previously released Sorting hat and Books of Magic stamps with the new Don't Let the Muggles stamp. Be sure to read to the end for a fun bonus!

I started by heat embossing the Books of Magic and sorting hat on Copic-friendly paper using black embossing powder.  I colored them gently (it is said embossing can ruin Copic--but I am just careful when I feel I need to do this) and then fussy cut them out.  I did run a black marker around the side edge of the fussy cut images to keep the block outline complete--but this is optional in the grand scheme of things.  I rummaged through my gel print pile of scraps with the images set aside.  I came across an older print I had done on my Gel Press using acrylic paints, and I fell in love with the almost rustic/vintage vibe it happened to have and thought it would be perfect for my card.

I stamped and embossed the Don't Let the Muggles sentiment directly onto the gel print panel.  Next, I grabbed a Kraft card base and metallic copper wash tape.  I knew I wanted the washi tape to add some *magical* sparkle but felt it somewhat blended in.  I rummaged for a scrap of black that was long enough to work to border the gel press panel but couldn't find one...but that didn't stop me!  I grabbed a piece of white cardstock scrap and a black Copic marker and made my own black cardstock!  I only wanted a thin part showing, so this technique worked out perfectly without me having to cut into a full sheet of black cardstock for what amounted to a 1/4" strip.  I layered the black strips on each side of my gel print panel and then added the washi tape to the card base on each side. Lastly, my fussy-cut images were stacked and mounted to the gel press panel using foam tape for some dimensions.  I absolutely am in love with the final product!!

Are you a Harry Potter fan??  I have more cards to show you with these fabulous stamps, so stay tuned!!

For now, here is a little bonus card featuring many of the smaller icon stamps in this collection---perfect for a quick card, with ZERO coloring involved! I absolutely HAD to make a birthday card since the celebration is in honor of Harry's birthday, after all!

Here are the stamps used in today's cards:

First Magical Card

Sorting hat
Books of Magic
Don't Let the Muggles

BONUS Birthday Card

HP Initials
Glasses and Lightning Bolt, Set of 3
Hogwarts Wax Seal
Letter of Hogwarts
Owl Post Words
My Sweet Friend

See you all again soon!

Another Birthday, Just Roll With It Card

Hello! Nadine here today with a birthday card using some of the newly released stamps.

I first stenciled the background with a brick stencil using ink. Then stamped the Toilet Roll On Holder stamp and colored it with Copic Markers. For the sentiment, I used the Roll With It stamp. The sentiment comes as one stamp, so I inked and stamped the top part of it onto the toilet paper and then inked and stamped the bottom half. I then fussy cut out the toilet paper roll and adhered it to the card front with foam squares.

Well Crap Belated Birthday Card

Hello! Nadine here today with a belated birthday card. Most of us have missed someone's birthday and this card would be a great way to say "well crap" I missed it.

I first stamped the Outhouse and Spot The Dog and colored them in with Copic Markers. Then I fussy cut each one out. On the background of my card, I used some green and blue color spray on my craft mat with a little bit of water and smooshed my card front down into the spray. I stamped the sentiment Well Crap on the card front then adhered the Outhouse & Dog to the card front using some foam squares. I colored under each one of them with a Copic Marker to give them a shadow. On the inside, I stamped a belated birthday stamp.

Life Is Like A Bath Card

Hello crafty friends! Tracy here and today I have a fun and snarky little card to share featuring some of the newest stamps from Crackerbox Stamps. Here are all of the details on how I created my card.

I started by creating a simple blended card front using white cardstock and Distress Oxide Ink. Then I added the sentiment to the top portion of the card front using black ink. Stamp the bathtub onto white cardstock and add color to the taps and such using the yellow Zig Clean Color Marker.
Fussy cut out the bathtub image and add to the card front using 3D foam squares. Mat the card front in navy cardstock and add to a white cardstock card base. For a little extra sparkle, I added gold Stickles to the taps of the bathtub.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Fun Snarky Cards by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here. I hope you are enjoying the most recent release. Today, I have two fun snarky cards to share with you. Let's start with the most simple:

This card is featuring the stamp Recently Bought Toilet Brush. This has been one of the favorites from the release and really is too funny! I stenciled the background of my card using White Pigment Ink and then, stamped the sentiment over the yellow cardstock. I love the combination of gray and yellow and used white to neutralize the colors. On a separate piece of white smooth cardstock, I stamped the Toilet Roll included on the Toilet Roll & Plunger Set of 2. I fussy cut it with scissors and used it to decorate the die-cut frame.

My second card is featuring the Be-hinder Saying and the Butt Guy. I stamped both images onto white smooth cardstock and then colored the Butt Guy with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir.

To resize the layer, I used one mini slimline die from the Lopped Lace Petite Rectangle Mini Slimline Dies. I love when I can stretch my products and use them in different combinations.

The stamps used on the above card can be purchased as individual images and/or as a set of 2. Both are great sizes for any type of card.

You can find all the details and products that I used on these cards, HERE in my STAMPARTPAPEL BLOG

Just Roll With It Birthday Card

Hi Everybody! Cornelia here today. Crackerbox Stamps had a new release and it is fabulous, as you may already have seen!

I first stenciled the background with a grid and a number stencil. I stamped the toilet paper roll onto scrap paper twice. Cut out only the paper from one of them, glued it to the roll with a slight offset, and colored it with Copics. Added the sentiment. Cut it out. Added another piece of paper and assembled everything onto my card base.

Gumball Machine Birthday Card

Hello! Nadine here today with a gumball machine birthday card.

I first started by using the Gumball Machine Sm. Stamp and then coloring it in with Copic Markers and fussy cutting it out. I used a clear glitter pen on the silver part of the machine to give it a metal look and glossy highlights over the glass part of the machine.

I stamped the sentiment using the Blowing Good Wishes Stamp and then cutting it into a banner. I added some fun polka dot patterned paper and die-cut out some circles to create a focal point behind the gumball machine.

Grumpy Frog Infinity Shaker Birthday Card

It's Marcia today with a grumpy frog infinity shaker birthday card for your best friend. The frog stamp is part of the new April release; be sure to visit the New Stamps category to see all the funny new sentiments and images.

Supplies used:
Frog Grumpy
100% Sweet
Without Me (Currently on sale!)
Birthday 4

Infinity shaker cards are really fun and quite popular right now.  I'm a fan of using tulle for shaker cards because it is so much easier (and quicker) to use.  I began by stamping the frog on a scrap of watercolor green paper in green ink, using the same ink color for the sentiments.  I colored the spots and eyelids on the frog with a yellow alcohol marker and added a shadow to the eye.  I colored the rest of the eyeball with a white gel pen, adding "shine" dots to the pupils.

To add the frog and speech bubble to the front of the tulle infinity panel, I first adhered just the bottom part of the tulle to the bottom back of the card panel with double-sided tape.  Then, I flipped up the tulle panel and added the frog and speech bubble to the tulle with foam adhesive where I wanted them on the card front.

To prevent the foam tape adhesive from interfering with the shaker elements once assembled, I attached scrap paper to the backside of the foam tape that shows through the tulle (see pic).  This prevents the shaker elements from attaching to the exposed adhesive.  Then I merely closed up the tulle front, adding my shaker mixture before adhering to the final flap of tulle.

The inside of the card wasn't left untouched.  I stamped the frog again using second-generation stamping for a lighter image.  (First, stamp the image off onto a scrap of paper and then stamp the second time onto the intended surface.)  The "Happy Birthday" was stamped in black ink.

Interactive Birthday Card With A Custom Pocket Stamp

Hello Stamper, Vicky here today with a cell phone in a pocket birthday card with some of our new release stamps!

I want to first tell you that the pocket is a custom-made stamp that John made. If you have an image or idea in mind that you would like to have made into a stamp like this pocket stamp, just let us know and we can do it for you.
I stamped it with orange ink but the stitches look black here. It is stamped on light blue cardstock and stippled dark blue over it. The bling in the corners of the pockets is fingernail stickers. I used 1/16" Scor Tape around the edge of the pocket so I could put the phone in there. I used Hashtag Nice for the #happybirthday

After I stamped and colored the Cell Phone, I stamped the Flower Pot and the Daisy Sm. and used one of the hashtags from Hashtags Sweet for the #friendsforever.
We have 3 different sets of hashtags with 4 hashtags in each set.
The sets are;  Hashtags SweetHashtags Nice, and of course Hashtags Snarky.

Stamps Used:
Hashtags Nice - #happybirthday
Hashtags Sweet - #friendsforever

Cell Phone Shaker Birthday Card

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna today from Caffeinated Craftiness and I have a fun shaker card to share with all of you featuring new stamps from Crackerbox Stamps!

I knew immediately when I saw the new Cell Phone stamp I knew I needed to make a shaker out of it!  I stamped the Cell Phone onto heavy cardstock and colored it with my Copic Markers.  I fussy cut out around the image and then I also used a craft knife to cut a window out of the middle.  I grabbed a scrap of iridescent cardstock to cut the back of the shaker.  The window on the cell phone was covered with clear plastic and then I added foam tape to give the depth needed for the shaker bits to move.  I added sequins and clay rainbows inside before affixing the back to the foam tape to seal the shaker bits inside the cell phone.
Setting aside the shaker, I grabbed one of the gel prints I have done previously (we won't say how big that stack is!  Shhhhhh!!!!) and cut a panel just slightly smaller than 4.25x5.5".  I grabbed a bunch of different Hashtag Stamps from the multiple sets available. I love that Crackerbox Stamps has a little something for everyone. Sweet, Nice, or Snarky are all options available as sets to go with the cell phone. I stamped them directly onto the card panel with black ink.
The final steps were adhering the shaker piece to the card panel and then I mounted the panel to a lilac card base.

I hope you enjoyed my shaker card today and will be inspired to make a few yourself!  Below I have links for the stamps used in today's project.  I would love for you to tag me on IG so I can see what you made!!
