Minion Friends Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and I hope your March is going well. I'm getting ready for spring break and have a quick card I made using the Carl stamp along with this great Life Is Better sentiment. I love all Crackerbox's Minion stamps and thought Carl would go perfectly with my card.

I used a gel press background for my card background and then stamped Carl and colored him with watercolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out and stamped the Life Is Better sentiment on my card to finish it. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!

I created my card using green acrylic paint and a brayer to add texture to my background. I then stamped the 4 Leaf Clover around the border and colored them in with some Distress pencils.

I then stamped Sheamus and colored him in with the same pencils. I love this fun stamp and paired it with this hilarious sentiment for a fun St. Patrick's Day card.

Watercolor Bunny Butt Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and I hope you are doing well. Today I have a fun Easter card using the Bunny Butt stamp along with this awesome Does This Tail sentiment. This would also make a great spring card for any friend needing a smile.

I made my background with some Lindy's Magicals in Shabby Turbine Teal and Rusty Lantern Lime. I love the sparkle these watercolor powders add to any project. While it was drying, I stamped the Bunny Butt and colored it up with some of my alcohol markers. I added some clear sparkle to the tail because every bunny needs a sparky tail lol. I fussy cut it out and attached it to my card with foam tape to give it a little dimension. I white heat embossed this awesome Does This Tail sentiment to go above the image.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

Vintage Rose Friends Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and today I have a card I created for a friend using the Rose and Butterflies stamp. I also love the script of this True Friends Never Far sentiment, which lends to a vintage feel for my card.

I started by stamping the Rose and Butterflies stamp on an old book page I had painted using my gel press. I colored the image with some Posca pencils and then added the darker lines in with a black pen. I then fussy cut out the image and added it to a card base that I had stamped the True Friends Never Far sentiment.

I finished my card with some enamel dots to fill in some of the white space and add a bit more green to my card. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a great rest of your week.

Watercolor Valentine's Day Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and today I have a watercolor Valentine's Day card I made using the Swirly Heart stamp and the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment.

I stamped both stamps with white embossing powder on Bristol Smooth paper. I added Lindy's Magicals powders in Industrial Chic in Time Travel Teal and Rust Lantern. I added several layers of color and dried between applications. Once the layers were dry, I took a piece of plastic and smooshed it on my background to add additional depth and texture to my background.
I finished my card by adding some jewels to the background. A simple but pretty Valentine's Day card. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week.

I did some no-line coloring using some light ink to stamp the Penguin Hat stamp and color him up. I then fussy cut him out and put him aside while I made my background. I used Bristol Smooth paper and Lindy's Starburst Spray in Penguin Play Periwinkle and Narwhal Navy. I love these fun sprays with sparkle, which was the perfect blizzard background. Once my background was dry, I finished my card with the Snowflake Kisses sentiment and heat embossed it with clear sparkle powder.

Joy Mixed Media Card

Hello friends! Ericka here, and I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. We have been busy with family visiting, but I had a little time to make a mixed media card using the Joy stamp. I love this handwritten script.

To start, I used a mixed media gel press background I had in my stash. I used some acrylic sprays and added splatters for some additional texture. I stamped the Pine Branch stamp with Versafine Clair ink, and clear heat embossed it. I then stamped the Pine Cones, fussy cut them out, and colored them with my Zig Real Brush Markers. I stamped the Joy sentiment, and heat embossed it white. I attached the Pine Cones with foam tape for added dimension. I also added white gel pens and black markers to highlight the sentiment and pine branch.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a joyful week as we head into the New Year.

Peaceful Ink Blending Christmas Card

Happy holidays crafty friends! Ericka here, and I hope you are all doing well and enjoying time with your family and friends. Today I have a simple card I made with ink blending for a peaceful winter scene.

I started by creating a circle stencil with some plastic to blend light ink. I used Bristol Smooth paper, my go-to paper when blending ink, and a blending brush with Salty Ocean Distress Ink. I added a little Wild Honey Distress ink for a moon glow in the background. Then I used the Swirl Christmas Thick stamp and Versafine Clair ink in Twilight to add trees in the background. I stamped the middle tree first and then stamped the side trees after stamping off some ink on a scratch piece of paper to make a lighter image in the background. The Spruce Tree would also be a perfect stamp for this, but I didn't have it in my stash. I stamped the Small Buck and Doe set in Versafine Clair Nocturne and added a little snow highlights on their backs and the trees with a white gel pen. I used a swirl stencil to add some ink blending around the circle in Kitsch Flamingo. I lightly spritzed my background and lifted some ink off to look like falling snow. To finish my card, I used Peace Written stamp to finish my card.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful and peaceful Christmas season.

Grinch's Heart Christmas Card

Hello friends! Ericka here, and today I have another Grinch card because you can never have too many Christmas cards. I love all these wonderful Grinch stamps and that I get to use them all season long. Today, I used my colored pencils to color up the Grinch Head Image after I stamped it with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

Once I was done coloring him up, I stamped the Grinch Small Heart sentiment in Versafine Clair Green Oasis and clear embossed it.
I cut my panel down and adhered it to some Christmas pattern paper I had in my stash that looked like it would go with a Grinch. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Magic and Bright Minion Christmas Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here and I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Today I have a fun Christmas card I made using Bob the Minion with and fun Santa Hat

I started by stamping Bob and masking the top to add the Santa's Hat stamp. I colored it all up with some watercolor markers and then added the Snowflakes and heat-embossed the with a Turquoise powder for some fun sparkle. I then added some light shading around the card with Distress Oxide ink Salvage Patina and for some added fun, I used Liquitex Glass Beads as snow on the bottom of my card.

I then decided I wanted to make Bob a little more fun and stamped him and the hat on a separate piece of paper. After coloring them up, I added them to my card using an action wobble so he became more interactive.

I finished my card by adding the Magic and Bright sentiment and used some clear sparkle to heat emboss the image. I love this Santa Hat and can't wait to use it on some more of my minions to make fun Christmas cards. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Happy Birthday Zap Card

Hello friends! Ericka here, and today I have a fun birthday card using the new Cat Sketchy stamp. I love the expression on this stamp and thought it would be perfect for a friend with a birthday this month.

I started with some distress oxide ink blending in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Black Soot on Bristol smooth paper. I then lightly spritzed the paper and lifted off some of the ink. Once my background was dry, I used Carved Pumpkin distress spray and sprayed the middle of my background.

When the background was dry, I used the Cat Sketchy stamp along with the Birthday 11 sentiment and a coming soon speech bubble with the word zap and stamp and clear embossed them. I finished my card by coloring the cat's eyes and ears for a little fun.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Grinchy Christmas Card

Hello friends! Ericka here, and today I am creating a Christmas card using the newly released Grinch Standing and Grinch Saying Long stamps. The Grinch is one of my favorite Christmas movies, and I love both of these stamps. You could also get Grinch and Max stamps and expand the Christmas card possibilities.

I started by stamping the Grinch stamp and sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and clear heat embossing it. I stamped the image on Strathmore Sketch paper in tan and used my colored pencils to color him up. This is such a fun image to color and just large enough to add a little highlighting. Once I was done coloring my Grinch, I glued my card to a green card base. I love this sentiment; it is a good reminder as we head into the hectic holiday season.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Grief Is The Price We Pay For Love

Hello friends, Ericka here, and today I have a simple sympathy card that I made for some close friends. I love this beautiful Peony Lg. stamp and thought some gold embossing would give it a classic look.

I watercolored my flower with Zig Real Brush Markers, stamped the Grief sentiment, and embossed it in the same gold.
This was a simple card to make, and the Peony Lg. stamp adds to the beautiful sentiment. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a great week.

Distress Ink Thanksgiving Card

Hello friends, Ericka here, and today I have a Thanksgiving card I made using the Skeleton Leaves with Distress Inks and gold embossing. I love these gorgeous leaves and the beautiful details in the stamps.

I started my card using distress inks in Candied Apple, Crackling Campfire, and Walnut Stain and blending them together. I then used my spray bottle and lightly spritzed my background and lifted off some ink. Next, I used some Distress Ink Stain in Festive Berry and lightly spayed my background to add some darker color.
Once my background was dry, I used the Skeleton Leaves ( Maple Line Leaf, Skeleton Leaf 1, 2, and 3) and gold embossed them. I love the look of these leaves in gold!

I finished my card with the Happy Thanksgiving Wishing sentiment, and white heat embossed it so it would pop on my dark background. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week getting crafty.

Peek A Boo Ghost Halloween Card

Hello friends! Ericka here, and today I am playing with the new Halloween release and using the Tombstone Lg with this fun Peek A Boo sentiment that fits perfectly in the Tombstone.

I started by stamping the Tombstone and then did some Distress Oxide ink blending in Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion and used Ground Espresso for the ground. Once my ink was dry, I added a little surprise with a glow-in-the-dark Ghost Sketched. It was hard to get a good photo of the glow-in-the-dark portion, but here it is.

I also added the fun Happy Halloween with Web set to the inside of my card.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Best Friends Ink Blending Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and today I have an ink blending card I made with the Fairy Tea Cup stamp and this great sentiment Laugh, Smile, Live.

I love this sentiment and wanted to use it for a friend. I was going through my Crackerbox Stamp images, and these little fairies seem to have a perfect friendship. I started by doing some Distress Oxide ink blending with a stencil in my stash. For a nice blend, I used Carved Pumpkin, Abandoned Coral, and Worn Lipstick on Bristol Smooth paper. I added some water droplets, then blotted them with a paper towel to lift off some of the ink.

I stamped the Fairy Tea Cup in Twilight Versafine Clair ink and used my white gel pen to add highlights. I then centered my Laugh, Smile, Live sentiment and stamped it in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and clear heat embossed both the sentiment and image.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Minion Wobble Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and today I have a fun minion birthday card I created for one of my students. I love these minions and all the great sentiments that go along with them.

I started by using Distress Spray Stains in Mermaid Lagoon and Squeezed Lemonade on Bristol Smooth paper. While my background was drying, I stamped the Stuart with Cupcake, and clear heat embossed him. I used watercolor markers to color him and then fussy cut him out.

I stamped the Once in a Minion sentiment along with the Birthday #7, and clear heat embossed them so they would stand out from my background.

I finished my card by attaching my minion to my card using an Action Wobble. I love these fun wobbles; they add a little extra fun to every card. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

You're Glitter Glue Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here, and today I have another fun card using Distress Oxide blending and this great Glitter Glue sentiment. This sentiment is great and works with various cards, especially ones for your crafty pals.

I started with some Distress Oxide ink blending with Dusty Concord, Victorian Velvet, and Tattered Rose. Once my background was dry, I stamped the Glitter Glue sentiment in Versfine Clair black ink. I carefully sprinkled WOW! Clear Sparkle on the "glitter glue" portion of the sentiment and then clear embossing powder on the rest.
I stamped the Lady with Coffee in the same ink and clear embossed her as well.

I finished my card by adding some water droplets to lift off some ink and also added a little sparkle spray for shimmer. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
